Two sandwiches took 45 minutes and they were not busy. The food was over-cooked and we had to send the fries back because they tasted like they had been sitting under a warmer all day. $36 for two modest sandwiches. Asked for the check, got it after 10 minutes, then she never came to get the card. We were just really disappointed and will never go back.

3salad scoops on a plate tuna, and 2 shrimp!

We were so happy to find a TooJays locally. My husband and I came to the Stuart location which was closest to our home. The location was very clean especially the bathroom and the floors of the restaurant. The tables were immaculate no sticky stuff anywhere. My husband ordered the Shepherds pie which came out huge and the potatoes crispy and the plate hot which was a first for anywhere he has ever ordered it before. He truly enjoyed every morsel!!! Thinking he'd have leftovers forget that every bit was eaten. I chose a salad that came with 3 scoops of of my choice from chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad and shrimp salad. I chose one scoop of tuna and 2 scoops of shrimp salad. And pickles. Great choices!!!!!! I had leftover but as soon as we got home I ate the rest as trip home was a bad rain storm and people drive crazy in the rain. Once home safe and sound I celebrated with my leftover and my son had his pastrami sandwich we brought him from the restaurant and he ate it in 3 minutes. A new record!!!! Yes we can't wait to return !!! BTW Tiffany our waitress was great friendly, extra helpful, and kind. Nothing I asked for was too much. Other staff was wonderful too guests getting up and walking to their cars. The caring and kindness I saw was amazing.

I'm a sucker for a good deli especially as there really aren't any anywhere near where I live. TooJay's has multiple locations in Florida and fortunately there was one near where we were staying. The restaurant is located in a strip mall shopping area and has a deli type store as you enter with lot's of seating in the restaurant itself. My wife loves Matzo Ball soup so she ordered that with half a tuna fish sandwich. Both met with her approval. For me it's either corned beef or pastrami. This time corned beef won. Served warm and lean (I do not care for corned beef not properly trimmed. Biting through fat is a huge turn off) Fortunately TooJay's corned beef is perfectly trimmed. Several choices for bread or rolls-I chose to have my sandwich on rye. Possibly some of the freshest tasting rye I've had in a long time. I also ordered their onion rings and was not disappointed. Nice flavor and not too heavy. Onions had a great flavor. Loved the service-refills were plentiful including my to go cup. Another great find. Hope to visit another couple of times before we return home.

Buttery, flaky croissant, thick smoky bacon, fat juicy tomato slices - typically I wouid never order a BLT on a croissant, but I went with Carol's (the manager) recommendation and it slapped! Hard. 11/10 My wife ordered the Dubai chocolate croissant and let's just say: it flexed harder than Schwarzenegger in his prime. Layers so airy they almost levitate. Smooth dark chocolate and pistachio. It's sweeeeet. If you like dubai chocolate style creations - this is otherworldly. I asked my wife what score she gives it. She didn't skip a beat. "Numbers are insufficient for that masterpiece." There ya have it! We swing by when we can for their sourdough loaf which are always 10/10. A huge shoutout to Carol, the manager. She's not just helpful - she's encyclopedic. Ask her what's in a pastry, what's not, what pairs best with coffee - she'll walk you through like your own pastry tour guide, always kind, always thorough. It's tiny, yes - you'll eat outside, in your car, or at home. But trust me, when the food hits this level, location doesn't matter. Sucre is a heavyweight champ hiding in a shoebox. Clutch move: they regularly discount the pastries around 2 or 3 until close to BOGO. Enjoy!

The area isn't the nicest, but once you step inside, you completely forget about it. The place is very clean, cozy, and simple. The staff is attentive and friendly. You can tell the coffee is good quality, and the pastries are made in-house -- which is a big plus, since you can actually see the kitchen equipment and how clean everything is. The croissants are huge; we tried the chocolate one -- delicious dough and plenty of filling. The strawberry cheese Danish was another great choice. The chocolate ganache and raspberry tartlet didn't quite convince me, though. At the table next to us, they ordered some sandwiches (very large, by the way) and a soup or stew that, when they lifted the lid, filled the place with an incredible aroma... very tempting. It's definitely on my list to return. Next time, it'll be for lunch. By the way, they have a very interesting menu with Hungarian options, some elevated American variations, and several Italian dishes.

By the way, the strip center that the tea house is in is a really interesting strip center with a lot of unusual stores. If you'd like to shop and find unique things you might want to stop by. Back to my review. The tea party bakery is a cute little store with a few inside tables and a couple of outside tables. It offers tea (obviously) coffee, cappuccinos and lattes, along with an assortment of cakes and cookies and a few breakfast items. I ordered my usual black tea latte, and the girl behind the counter provided me with a couple of different options for English breakfast tea. Both seemed interesting and the one I selected was great. She also did not hesitate when I asked for a "latte" and honey. Initially, I wanted a croissant. However, they were out of croissants, (except for a strawberry and egg croissant). Missing my chance to find a good croissant in South Florida, I chose an orange chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was excellent, the tea was spot on, and the service was exactly what you'd expected at a tiny tea house... personal and friendly. The bottom line has always with my reviews is my "customer so what". Would I come back again? The answer is... yes. It's not often you'll find a traditional tearoom in South Florida. If you like a traditional tea house with their cute little china cups, assortment of pastries and cookies, traditional "tearoom" ambience and personalized service, this place is one you will enjoy.
