This place is the real deal! Ate here for lunch and had the Lamb Biryani- perfect. The Tandoori Mushrooms were an excellent choice to get the palette ready for our main dishes. Which ever curry fancies you, you won't go wrong here. Very pleasant atmosphere and wait staff. read more

What Great service and staff, the food is always awesome. Did breakfast today and the omelet was Great. Tried the Shepards Pie yesterday and it was excellent, as well as the French Onion Soup!!! Then don't forget a slice of cake to go (the banana cake is Awesome)!!! read more

Too jay's definitely disgraced me today! Our medical office received a catered lunch from Stuart location. The person "male" delivery did not wear a mask nor gloves as he displayed the food. I witnessed this Too jay's employee uncover the packaged food, NOT wearing gloves nor face covering as he scooped with spoon and his bare finger a topping of lemon butter white wine sauce and placed on top of each chicken breast already displayed inside aluminum pan. We contacted the location to report this and another employee hung up the phone. It's important to me to share not only due to our current pandemic COVID-19 but this unpleasant and unprofessional experience with Stuart Too jay's at 2504 Se Federal Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994. ***recorded May 25, 2021 SSTAR Recommendations for Food Establishments 1. Don't go on a holiday. Was there on Thanksgiving. A waitress who didn't want to be there. But instead of complaining to her boss, she was rude to the customers. I like TooJays but won't go to the Stuart location. Good food but unbearable service. read more

Went here with relatives and had the half a hot pastrimi sandwich with matzoh ball soup for lunch. Homemade rye bread was fantastic, their signature mustard very good, and it was the best matzoh ball soup I have ever had. Best Deli food I have found in Stuart, will go again. read more

TooJay's - Hot pastrami and matzoh ball soup - Delis Near Me - Stuart, Florida

Now that's a purdy salad! Kind of a high end deli, with lots of stuff on the menu. I had the Cobb salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. My co-worker had the Shepherds Pie and said it was good. Fast N friendly service, clean place and no complaints!!! read more

TooJay's - Delis Near Me - Stuart, Florida

I used to love this place but since COVID-19 shut them down the quality of their food has gone downhill. The service is still excellent. Too bad food isn't as good but don't think I'll be back. read more

Toojays has made a major slide downhill. On last few visits food was cold, sandwiches were small, and parts of the order forgotten. As far as take out goes. Not enough people working. Long wait and once again the order was wrong and the size of the sandwich was pitiful. I asked for applesauce with my order of potato pancakes and it was such a tiny amount you practically couldn't see it. What a shame. read more

I have lived in Stuart over a year now and this was my 1st visit to TooJay's!! Service and food were both phenomenal!! I had read about new owners taking over and that food wasn't that good anymore. DO NOT believe them!! I had the special sandwich of the day... Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce & arugula which was recommended by our wonderful waitress Lisa (Flo ) It was DELICIOUS!! She was very friendly and attentive to all of our needs. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and give them a try... you won't be disappointed!! read more

So we stopped again for a lunch the other day - 2 people, pretty basic lunch choices, no apps, water at a table - came to $43 and change. Why? Who knows. We didn't use coupons and we are to young qualify for old people discounts I guess. This is the last time I ate here, bye 2 jays read more

Looks great however service and kitchen were not together today at all! 7 of us with a lunch time limit got seated quickly, First waitress came promptly, took our beverage order and never returned! Another waiter came with drinks , still all good, took our orders, great. Now 20 minutes later 3 of the 7 lunches arrive. 10 minutes later another 2, then another. Mine arrived 50 minutes, the last one. All but one of the lunches was missing or had incorrect food on the plate. The waiter, John, grew angry with our request for the missing items. Which we had to ask for repeatedly. Getting the checks was another nightmare as the wrong items were on the wrong checks and forget about it to go box. All in all worst service food experience ever!!! and that's saying a lot! read more

Love the matzo ball soup and the Shepard's pie. The coconut cake is outstanding. Service is always good.

I can't believe I've been wintering in Florida for eight years and just found this place. OMG it is great. I am on a keto diet and was able to find wonderful things to eat and didn't feel one bit deprived. We are back home in northern Michigan and really miss not having this place to go to. read more

They were slow, took forever to get our food even though the place was empty. Saw a waitress wipe up the floor and then throw that same cloth on a table not sure if she used it to wipe that table but just the thought of it.... Had a strawberry citrus salad that came with mushy strawberries, it's strawberry season, and mushy mandarin oranges. I feel bad posting this because TooJays has always been one of my favorite restaurants. read more

Went here to try the thanksgiving meal (big mistake). I understand it is a holiday and busy but my family didn't have plans for thanksgiving meal so we wanted to give toojays a try. When we got there, there was a sign on the door that said if you do not have a reservation you cannot be seated. We said okay and asked if we could do a togo order. *The lady at the front counter taking our order was so unbelievably rude. She acted like us being there and ordering was such an inconvenience and was very dismissive. Rolled her eyes and had attitude because we didn't have the menu memorized and had to ask a question or two. After we paid she just walked away and did not say anything (like how long it would take, etc). A few minutes later she proceeds to ask us if we want meals to take home to warm up or already cooked meals (still with horrific attitude). At this point we said never mind and got our money back. Went to cracker barrel where the service was amazing and they treated their customers like human beings. I understand it was thanksgiving and no one wants to work during holidays, but we went into toojays very nice and with manners and weren't treated well at all. read more

Delicious food and accurate service! Great for delivery or dining in! Thanks toojays!

Very busy and poor parking conditions But, But the food either dine in or take out is always "the best". I usually go around lunch time and can highly recommend the Soups and wide variety of delicious sandwiches. read more

friend dropped off a slice of cake for me I asked where is is from? reply was Toojays I said i dont have enough ketchup to make it taste like anything and I was right. I've been here years ago and wanted to throw the food across the place , disgusting and tasteless read more

My husband and I love this restaurant and all of its baked goods... especially the chocolate KILLER cake--- that is my favorite! Our waiter was Michael and he was friendly, funny and right on when it came to making sure are drinks were refilled and that we had plenty of pickles! We are glad this restaurant is open during this c19 drama. You have to wear masks in and out, but can take them off as long as you're seated. read more

Our server was great, but the kitchen needs help. They finally sent out my sandwich after my entire family of 9 had already finished eating. I expected them to take it off the bill as an apology, but no. Happy 67th anniversary Mom & Dad. We'll find a better place to celebrate tomorrow. read more

It's sad to see a nice place fail due to the staff being careless and show no interest in doing their jobs

Food was tasteless and there was lip stick on my mug and funk on my spoon. So one star. One more thing I forgot to add was that the soup was cold. read more

Service is hit or miss, and this is the second time I've been in and my server helped someone other than me (and didn't even acknowledge me in anyway) then went to talk to other servers sitting down. I've been a patron of Too Jays for at least 30 something years (the location on Palm Beach is where my Too Jays love began) and this location has let me down. read more

Always enjoy a meal at this TooJay's! This visit I tried the new Antipasto Salad Sandwich and thought it was great. I have consistently been happy with this store in not only quality but the service. The variety of the menu is also nice and easy to find something to make everyone happy. The staff is also very helpful and they have always been very accommodating to make things the way we want them. read more

Pleasant service and selection of desserts. I had the carrot cake and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice.

Food was ok their were 4 of us for lunch our bill was around $60.00 service was terrible our server Rose was awful never checked on us to fill coffee or water until we were done when we said something she said sorry I got busy and walked off we went out of our way to come here but theirs no reason to come back for ok food and terrible service!! read more

My family and I are usual Toojay goers and love their food but COVID-19 has ruined their food and service. I ordered buffalo chicken tenders and got sliced chicken patty with no buffalo sauce. The coleslaw tasted a few days old and my mother ordered a turkey burger with the saddest piece of lettuce. It was one sole leaf. My disappointment is immeasurable. The fries tasted like reheated fries. Edit: Since I wrote this review, I have returned to their restaurant after being helped bu their customer service representative and their service has returned to it's usual great food. Their customer service is excellent and I appreciate them reaching out greatly read more

Great place friendly staff eat there every day They just had a remodel. Was close for two weeks. Miss them tremendously. But it was worth it. The remodel is incredible bigger store bigger kitchen bigger restrooms. Love the color choices. And they even have a few tv's. I highly recommend eating here. The food is very fresh and very consistently good. Not a place to eat if you're in a hurry. Usually takes about an hour. But I love this place. read more

Perhaps the worst pastrami I ever had. Avoid this place if you're looking for good deli. read more

Good place to eat, great selections, had an appetizer- Rueben egg rolls- super good. Both my son and I got the pastrami burgers. Melted cheese, caramelized onions ( not very caramelized) and sauce. Really good. Both of us asked for a medium burger- and that's how it came!! so often not the case. The tea was really good as well, atmosphere here was good, not loud and the wait staff were all attentive while we were here. Great dessert selection plus additional pastries and such. Had the banana came- would not get again- it was somewhat dry and is advertised as having lots of chocolate- didn't see it taste it, that was the one disappointment to the meal, should have went with first thought- chocolate cake. Overall- good portions, personable and inviting, worth the visit, my son is now a believer and definitely will be back!! read more

Let me first say, we've eaten here many, many times. We've also eaten at many other TooJay's locations. After the last experience, we will NEVER, EVER return to this location. Why you ask? COOKS SHOULD WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER USING THE BATHROOM. I've never been more disgusted in my life. Nasty. I didn't eat, asked for the check and we left...NASTY. read more

Horrible experience.. Server Susan was downright rude and literally made my us feel super uncomfortable like we were bothering her just by being there. As a business owner of a food establishment in the area, and a former server as well, her treatment of patrons was appalling. Will not return to any restaurant to be treated rudely, especially when we were nothing but kind. read more

Don't expect anything fancy, this place seems on par with a diner or Perkins. Seems reasonably priced but a can of Dr. Brown's soda is like $2.69. Whoa! You could probably buy a six pack at a supermarket for that price. I had the chopped sirloin medium rare which was surprisingly good as I never order chopped steak which is usually like a glorified hamburger. Basically, food was decent and the service was good. Other than that it is what it is. Basic regional chain type restaurant fare. read more

After decades of amazing food and service- the place is 1/2 what it was. Especially in portions. Slack service as well. Sigh....

Portion size has gone way down after prices went up... but then my order for pickup didn't include the french onion soup and there is no way to dispute except to call location. I will dispute charge on credit card and make them work for it. read more

I've only ever been here for lunch...about 30 times over the last 13 years! We actually ordered take-out today (10/22/2008) which was a change, but alas, it's still darn good Jewish Deli food. I ordered the Turkey Pastrami sandwich on rye, MK the Dill Chicken Salad on Challah. Mom and Dad actually order a 1/2 loaf of rye and get sliced meats (Pastrami and Turkey Pastrami) and make their own sandwiches. As for eating in the restaurant, this one does a good business as it's in the Regency Square Mall. Service has always been pretty good and food always arrives correctly made and to the right temperature. I've had the Matzo Ball Soup and it's fantastic as is their Chicken Noodle Soup. We've never really had dinner here, so I'm not really sure how it is, but I can say that desserts are pretty good and usually, if we eat there, we get them to go. The eclairs are huge and very custard filled (and not cheap either). You get huge softdrinks here. 32 oz glasses with free refills, so watch your bladders. read more

My absolute favorite restaurant in Florida! If I could go.nightly I would and with such variety I wouldn't even repeat meals! My favorites-stuffed cabbage, mini or regular latkes, knishes! The service is impeccable even with lines out the door on a regular basis. A+++ read more

Came on Sunday for lunch. There was a line but it moved reasonably quick. Food was fine and the 4 of us all enjoyed our meals. The problem was that the service was unacceptably slow and waitress was a little unpleasant. Just slow as molasses really. I can't remember many times in my life where it has taken this long to receive food after ordering and then an extraordinate amount of time to receive the check. The other TooJays locations are far superior with service. read more
