The restaurant wasn't very busy despite it being a Saturday night, looking particularly empty in all the open space. Service was particularly slow tonight, which I didn't understand since it wasn't busy. The onion loaf was slightly undercooked and VERY greasy this time. The server did keep up with drinks but we were on our second glasses of soda by the time food arrived. The baby back ribs were awesome, falling off the bone. The broccoli is always perfectly cooked, tender but still green. I love the loaded mashed potatoes. Others had the Caesar Salad, Chicken Alfredo and the Filet & Baby Back combos. Everyone was pleased. I understand the servers wanting a cash tip on a large bill but I found it slightly insulting to be asked for that, by the person receiving it, when presented with the bill. A sign when you enter would be better. We don't often carry cash so that didn't happen tonight.

Dump, waited to be seated, then was seated at a dirty table by an unfriendly employee who clearly did not want to be there. No issues ordering or getting food. Food came quickly and was as expected. Refills were nonexistent, we asked for a desert menu twice and finally got it, but server disappeared for 10 minutes. When we got to order we were told kitchen was closed. Why bother playing games with the menu if that was the case. We did come in at 7:50, 40 minutes before kitchen closed and hour and 10 before doors closed so we totally understand the employees just wanted to go home. Others came in after us and left before us. They obviously had better servers. The view is totally awesome if you can get seated outside or by a window. However, the Mississippi River bugs were plentiful. All in all our lunch at Arby's was more enjoyable.

Started our meals with fresh greens house salads. There were 4 in our party. One New York strip, one ribeye, one filet and one salmon. Steaks were very generous and cooked perfectly. Three of us had hash browns cooked crisp, one had baked potato. Hash browns came with a cheese sauce if desired. Salmon was a generous slab cooked to perfection. I had a side of mushrooms which were delicious. Our server was very attentive. Food came promptly to the table hot. Highly recommend without any reservations. Can't wait to return. We had reservations for 5:30 but got there early and we were able to be seated right away. Our waitress was there fairly quickly and took our drink orders. We decided to start with onion rings and what a great choice, they were delicious. Two of us got prime rib and two of us got 8 ounce filets, 2 baked potatoes and 2 hash browns. We also got salads and French onion soup. Everything was delicious!!!! Service was attentive but not overbearing. The only issues we had, and they were slight, we had to ask for menus and our salads came out with our appetizer. I'm a big fan of getting the appetizer before the salad. But the food was so good I overlooked it this time. It was just a bit pricey but well worth it. We look forward to going back.

It took my retiring to finally start dying dining here. It's about a 70 minute ride from Cedar rapids Iowa to this location but we do it over and over and over again. That should tell you something about how good they are. Their service is outstanding. The food is great never had a bad meal. My wife has Alzheimer's and she always enjoys the ride up in the view overlooking the river. I had to ask for tables along the outside to get the best view of the river. It was suggested I might want to make a reservation to be sure I would get one if available. We've eaten various items all over the menu you can't go wrong with anything it's all great. If you haven't tried it you should.

This is a classic supper club, straight out of the 70s with all the good and bad. The food is hearty and hasn't changed since the 70s I suspect. It's hearty and rich and probably everything my cardiologist would advise me to avoid. In other words, yummy! The place itself is great - nicely open, with nice music and great views. We were there late, so we got a nice view of the lights, but I can only imagine what it would be like in the day or at sunset. The standout is the service. They are incredibly nice and helpful, and willing to take various customization requests. Seriously, the staff is awesome and I love them. I will definitely be back.

Btw... reservations are only made by phone as they are not on Open Table, Table or Yelp for reservations. The bonus is that you can request a booth (as we did) when you call. It was perfectly lit inside so that while still romantic, you can see the menu! We didn't have to bring out the phone for this. There was a special small menu as well, that had a special Valentine's Day menu. What I didn't realize, until half way through the meal, was that the cocktail menu was on the back side. We did have to request the wine menu, which came in an old, tattered notebook. An investment in a nice professional wine folder would be a nice touch for this more upscale establishment. We had a fabulous dinner for Valentine's Day! We did order a bottle of the house Pinot Noir, a wonderful sweeter wine from Napa Valley. We started out with the chef's salad, which was a mix of greens, feta cheese crumbles and a deliciously sweet and tart balsamic vinaigrette! Both my husband and I had the beef tenderloin, which came with scrumptious mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed carrots and broccoli. For dessert, we had the wonderfully tasty Betty Jane's Gremlin Cheesecake, which did not disappoint! It was so creamy, not too rich, with just the right amount of sweetness! Priced at $10, we felt it was a little steep for the very slim slice that was served as most couples share a dessert! Honestly, it was so good, I just wanted more of it! The service was outstanding with the perfect amount of attention. Bus service didn't really happen but the server, Gabe, was on top of it, clearing plates when needed. All in all, we had a lovely night celebrating Valentine's Day, a day early to avoid the crowds!

We normally sit at the bar, when we dine, but it was uncomfortably sunny at the bar so we sat at a table. Our waitress greeted us. We asked what the specials were and she had to find out. We also asked what were the menu highlights and she said the menu was new and she hadn't tried anything. I started with a gin cocktail. It was not as well balanced or well presented as drinks we had had the previous two nights. We ordered the roasted veggie dip to start. It was supposed to come with either pretzels or veggies. We forgot to specify and we got a small ramekins of dip with giant pretzels. Why not mix it up and have both? We also had the mussels. They were okay but not particularly hot or flavorful. For dinner we split the pork tenderloin which came with coconut rice and a pineapple mole sauce. Lukewarm and bland. You didn't taste the coconut or the mole at all and the carrot salad on top made the whole dish cold. To top it off, when the bill came it stemmed more than we expected. The waitress charged us for a beef tenderloin instead of a pork tenderloin. Luckily we caught it but honestly she had 1 or 2 tables and she couldn't get it right. We would not return to this restaurant- there are better choices in the area.
