Great breakfasts and lunches. Service was first rate. Try the corned beef hash. We are there everyday we were on our vacation.

We arrived around 9:15am and the place was packed. We waited a few minutes and got seats at the bar. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive. But....it was worth it! Everything was so delicious. I had the omelette, white toast, home fries, and biscuits with gravy. It was all perfect and home cooked. Even something so simple as toast was amazing! Charming diner, with friendly service, and the food is totally as expected. Simple, but well-prepared. Weekdays, breakfast finishes at 11:30, and being late risers, we settled for the lunch menu. Good quality, and definitely worth a return visit. We had a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich and a dressed cheeseburger. Coffee was also good, and bottomless. This place knows exactly what it is and that makes it so much better, I was about to hit the wine trail and wanted a quick east breakfast, and this place delivered. The food was good, the service was fast and friendly and it loved the atmosphere. it's is absolutely a "local's only" type place, but they were friendly and welcoming all the same. The food is perfect every time we come which is often. Homemade bread and jellies. Omelettes never a tinge of brown. Coffee mugs kept warm under heat lamp until use. The place is toasty warm in winter and cool in summer and always spotlessly clean. And the best part, Toni who is so friendly and so serious about running a great restaurant. read more

One of the owners or managers came out after 30 minutes and explained that local wineries had put in a bunch of to go orders and they had to prioritize year round customers. A bunch of friends and I were traveling through town and were just trying to find somewhere to have breakfast. We found this place on yelp and were pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The bread wasn't your typical thin, pre-sliced, mass produced variety, it was more like fresh bakery baked, thick slices. An absolute must visit for breakfast. Adorable hometown feel. Everyday food done as a diner should do it: 2 eggs scrambled or sunny side up, ham slice was 1 inch thick, French toast was delicious. Stopped by here for brunch with a big group of people, as we were nearby for the weekend. We were a party of 13, and they were able to accommodate us (in 2 tables). After reading some of the reviews online, I opted for the chili cheese omelette with the home fries. Others in our group went for the French toast, sausage gravy and biscuits, corned beef hash, etc. The omelette was huge, and delicious! Their toast was also pretty good, as were the jam/jellies that came with it. We tried 2 of their homemade hot sauces, and both were delicious, especially mixed with the omelette. Definitely has a nice homey vibe, and Toni herself took our orders and served us. Only negatives are that the service was a bit slow (understandable with our big party, but it took forever for the waitress to come to us with waters/cutlery, and we had to grab the menus ourselves).The price is also pretty good.. definitely not NYC prices! To Jonny O's Review, I was a customer the day you came in. I remember it clearly because of how rude you were to the service staff. They were clearly slammed with business, you could see as soon as you pulled in. The food is always great and the cook is always quick and consistent as can be based upon the pace of the restaurant. I come in on busy days and slow days and i've never had a problem with the food or the staff. I am truly sorry patience isn't a quality you possess because your experience may have been quite a bit better. I however will enjoy this Hot Spot time and time again.
