Beer overlooking Lake Seneca

Decent beers but a small menu. Some food available onsite. There is good indoor and outdoor space and beautiful views of the lake

We are so excited that my husband and I drove down the road, and we saw where Two Goats Brewing was. Once we saw it, we had to go their and check it out. Wow, this spot was definitely a hidden gem . It was also extremely packed as well . We loved in how the beer was set at a good price, and it was really good beer. The only thing is I wish they had more of a selection for food wise. Maybe it's something they need to think about expanding. The band that they had playing there was great as well. Overall, this place was amazing, and I would definitely come back here and enjoy an amazing view of looking at the vineyards.

Amazing views and fun beers! Two Goats was super close to our airbnb so we stopped by for a pre-dinner drink. We were there just prior to sunset (golden hour, you know), so it was relatively crowded. Plus, it was a gorgeous day and there was a live band, so not surprising at the folks there! Luckily, my husband and I snagged seats together to enjoy our brews. Their options are vast enough but not too many to make you feel overwhelmed. My husband went for a flight, which he enjoyed. Their flights are pre-fixed and appealed to his tastes but not mine, so I just went for a single pour. Two Goats offers blended beers (just 2 types mixed together), which is unique. I went for the Goat Juice, a blend of their hazy IPA and kolsch. I appreciated how the lighter kolsch cut the heaviness of the IPA, making for an overall refreshing and drinkable beer. We didn't eat anything during our visit, but we appreciated the fresh popcorn that was up for grabs! I'm so glad we went when we did so we could enjoy the lovely view of the sunset reflecting on the lake. Highly recommend Two Goats for a fun blended beer and beautiful views of Seneca!

Really nice experience at Two Goats! We were looking for a place for a light, informal dinner open later on a Tuesday and this was just the spot we needed. Their menu is not very extensive in terms of food but their beef sandwiches with chips and pickles hit the spot, washed down with some great beer. I had the Goatgasm because omg the name and it was tasty- it's a mix of the IPA and a lighter beer which was just perfect. We enjoyed our beer and meal on their patio with a nice view of the sunset. Bartender was excellent making recommendations and offering samples. My bf and friend did flights. Lots of kitschy decor and free popcorn!

Stayed in Watkins Glen for the weekend for a race! A post-race beer tour was necessary. Grabbed a drink at Two Goats and sat outside. Incredible view of the lake and the beer was amazing.

This brewery deserves all the 5-star reviews... Great beers, awesome deck with great views. One of our favorites in the area.

Great experience all around. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The beef on a weck was better than I remembered. I had the Chardonnay that was perfect on a hot summer day. My husband had a red ale that was great with the beef. The view was spectacular. A nice relaxing lunch on our way to the Corning Museum.

Dog friendly inside and outside!

The most beautiful views of Seneca Lake. Beers are also outstanding. We go here every trip up and it never disappoints. It can get crowded in weather is not ideal but there is plenty of outdoor spots to hang on the deck. Dog friendly inside and outside!

I am so happy my wife and i drove past this place. Everything was amazing, from the vibe to the views and the beer as well. The bartender was very nice and gave good insight into each beer and great service. They let you sample any beer you want before you make your final selection. I would recommend this brewery to anyone visiting this area

Excellent beer and what a scenic view of Seneca Lake! This is a must do if you're in the area doing the wineries! Excellent classic rock music and an overall great vibe! So glad we turned in here on a whim!

As everyone has said, great views, great vibe. It's really cool inside as well as the nice decks outside overlooking the whole lake and lake valley. I tried all the beers and was extremely impressed with the exception of the X-IPA. My favorites were the go easy blonde, Hugh Hefe, brown ale (great), and goatmaster Kolsch. On another level entirely was the Golden Crush New England pale ale. It was absolutely unbelievable. It captured that whole New England IPA flavor in a less hoppy, cloudy, lower alcohol version. One of the best pale ales in that style I have ever had. For food they have roast beef on wick rolls, hummus, and tortilla chips as their options. The beef on Wick was very good @ $12 with chips

One of our favorite stops during our weekend trip to the finger lakes. The brewery has a great view of Seneca lake and there was also live music! We also really enjoyed the beer flight. They also serve wine with generous pour! Great vibes and weather!

This was the first place we stopped on our trip to the Finger Lakes. I know what you are thinking, why would you stop at brewery when going to the Finger Lakes? Well it was the first place we came across that had good and we were hungry. My husband and I both got the Goatmaster (the Kolsch). It was sooo good. The menu is limited, 3 things on the menu but that's ok, we were so hungry we didn't care. We ordered the roast beef sandwich with horseradish on the side. The sandwich was delicious. I put the whole scoop of horseradish on the sandwich and took a big bite. WARNING! If you don not like hot do not put the scoop on. My nose and eyes felt like they were on fire! But it was sooooo good. Now about the view. I think this place has one of the best views of the lake. We loved it here so much, we went back the next day.

Lovely space with lots of interesting decor...even the bathrooms!…read more Staff was great on my recent late afternoon visit. He was very friendly and provided some great information on the cask-brewing process and how it differs from the American process. The few beers in my flight (about $12ish) all tasted great but lacked the traditional carbonation found in most typical beers. This, along with being served at room temperature, is a major difference from other beer I learned. The cask ales are naturally carbonated giving it a milder, less harsh, and maybe flatter taste. Most other beers are force-carbonated. While not available on the day I visited, I would loved to have tried some of their food options. Maybe I will the next time I am in the area. There is a small "shop" in the corner which sells British-based foods including teas and sweets. Some lovely views on the back deck!

Both the fries and the curry were exceptionally flavorful and made me rethink about English cuisine (kidding). My wife bought a gin and tonic with a great citrus gin and Mediterranean tonic which went down smooth and was actually tasteful even to myself as a non-drinker. Service: Nicky who helped us with the drink inside was so kind and patient and gave my wife recommendations which is how she ended up with her great G&T. The owner, Bradley, was not only an amazing gentleman but super funny and kind. This is the type of place you go to because it makes you feel warm and at home. Aesthetic: English goods line the back wall and artifacts from England line all the other walls, feeling like you are in a pub somewhere in southern England. Such a cool feel.

Once for a bonfire! Lol It's a local thing. They have a wonderful casual deck. I love sitting out there. On this last visit, we skipped the beers, and went straight for Babe's burgers. They are stationed on the deck. I ordered their burger with carmelized onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Pickle on the side. The tomato was a farm fresh Tomato which is AWESOME! It was a local farm grown tomato, and the burger was delish. We ordered a small fries, and 3 of us shared them, and still threw some out. Yes, a small is that large. They don't sell drinks at the babes burger window. We got those at the bar. They had a free water jug, with plastic cups. I ordered a Waterloo sparking water, one friend had regular water, and the last had a soda. Because the owner makes their own beer there. I highly recommend checking them out, for beers and burgers. We didn't order any this time, because we were getting ready to go on a long drive. But....Since I live there, I can confirm their beer is worth it! I love their casual atmosphere, it's a great place to go to talk and dine. It's a local place, so it wouldn't be awkward to see go there and run into friends and start combining tables. Everyone is super friendly, so if you're ever lonely or bored, it's a great place to stop by, and hang out, you're almost guaranteed to make new friends. Parking can be tricky if they are busy, but people park on the street as long as they don't block any cars from getting by. I also love that they allow dogs, on leash, and they can't beg. Although it's more of the modern feel than the earthy feel that I prefer, Tin Barn more than makes up for it with an awesome view of Seneca Lake, an expansive outdoor seating area, and friendly staff. Although we didn't eat while there, they do have a food menu, so Tin Barn really hits all the important aspects I look for in a brewery - good beer, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, dog friendly outdoor seating, and availability to get some snacks. Pretty much all their Hazy IPAs were quite nice. And they had a large selection of them. All the way from sessions to triples. Hazy IPA's are their thing - they did have a couple others like the sour and a blonde, but this is mostly a place to go for a hazy. We also got food. I thought the pretzel sticks with mustard where quite good - although I ordered the beer cheese with them and was pretty unimpressed with that and wished I had just stuck with the mustard. Our next stop of the day took us to our first distillery visit of the trip, and wow--Finger Lakes…read moreDistilling did not disappoint. What surprised us most? This was our very first time visiting, and we hadn't even realized they had been established since 2007! Knowing that they had been perfecting their craft for over 17 years, we were eager to dive into the tasting experience and see what they had to offer. The tasting room had a laid-back yet polished feel, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to guide us through their lineup of small-batch, handcrafted spirits. The distillery prides itself on using locally sourced grains and fruits, and you could tell from the first sip that quality and attention to detail were at the heart of their process. The Tasting Lineup I opted for a tasting of four different spirits, and after enjoying those, I was encouraged to try two more--a bonus that made the experience even better. Here's what I sampled: 1 Straight Bourbon - This was beautifully balanced, with sweet corn and vanilla upfront, followed by a warming spicy rye kick on the finish. Smooth yet complex, it was a fantastic introduction to their bourbon lineup. 2 Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon - A true standout, this one had rich caramel and toasted oak flavors, along with the perfect balance of spice and warmth. Aged for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof, it had a bold yet refined character that made it easy to appreciate. 3 McKenzie Straight Rye - If you're a fan of rye whiskey, this one is for you. It had that signature spicy rye bite, but what really made it unique was the sweet sherry cask finish, adding a layer of richness and complexity that lingered beautifully. 4 Bottled-in-Bond Rye - One of the most interesting pours of the day, this rye was bursting with flavors of chocolate, nougat, and dried red fruit. The influence of the barrel aging was prominent, giving it a decadent, almost dessert-like quality while still holding onto its classic rye spice. After those four, I couldn't resist trying two additional spirits: 5 Apple Brandy (Aged 10 Years) - A masterfully aged apple brandy that showcased deep, caramelized apple flavors, balanced with warm baking spices and oak influence. The 10 years in the barrel really allowed this spirit to develop incredible depth and smoothness. 6 Grappa - This was an unexpected favorite--simply sensational. Grappa can sometimes be overpowering, but this one was smooth, refined, and packed with rich grape flavors, making it one of the best versions I've tried. Taking a Piece of Finger Lakes Distilling Home While every single pour was impressive, the one that stood out the most for me was the Straight Bourbon--so much so that I had to bring a bottle home. It reminded me of a classic Rye Whiskey, with just enough spice to keep things interesting but smooth enough to sip neat. Final Thoughts Finger Lakes Distilling far exceeded expectations, and I can't believe it took us this long to visit! With their commitment to quality, incredible range of spirits, and inviting tasting experience, this is a must-visit for anyone exploring the Finger Lakes region--whether you're a bourbon lover, rye enthusiast, or just appreciate finely crafted spirits. It was the perfect stop to break up a day of wineries and breweries, offering something distinctly different yet equally enjoyable. Next time, I'd love to stay a little longer, maybe sip on a whiskey cocktail and take in the atmosphere even more. Cheers to great whiskey and new discoveries!

I chose blueberry and ginger. It was delicious. I loved that she added 4 plump delicious blueberries on a toothpick in the drink. The bartender/hostess Lisa was super nice and helpful. I sat and had my cocktail. Chatted up with some tourists, it was all very pleasant and relaxing. I love their Vodka that is made with grapes. It's nice and smooth. Would make an excellent Martini. The vibe is super welcoming. I was in there during a slow time, of day in the middle of the week, but they still had a fair amount of business during this time. It was just what I needed, quite pleasant conversation, and a cool cocktail. I imagine it can get quite crowded and loud during the weekend. They have some cool gift items, martini shaker sets, Olives and Olive juice, and some different flavored syrups that they actually use behind the bar. The cherry on top for me would have been if they served Martinis. The bartender was so sweet, when I ordered one, she said it had been a while, but was willing it give it a go. I declined and asked for her suggestion, and as a result I had my wonderful cocktail mentioned above. So, all was good in my world. Plus Lisa and I had fun making a new creation. She said she never did made it with blueberry and ginger! It was fantastic and refreshing. My reason for declining the martini, was because for me the perfect Martini is served in a chilled Martini glass. Which I don't think they had. I did find it odd that you can buy everything you need to buy and take home to make a martini, but do not have it on the menu. Hopefully in the future they will make their own signature martini, perhaps blueberry. Cause I tell you that blueberry syrup, in a chilled Martini glass, with a splash of vermouth, with their grape Vodka, and the blueberry garnish, would have been sublime! I will definitely be back and In the end I was super happy with the drink, it was much more refreshing than a martini. Thank you Lisa it was an excellent suggestion. I ended up buying a bottle of Vodka, and the blueberry syrup. The blueberry syrup had a hint of vinegar in it, and I thought it would make an excellent reduction sauce for my deserts. I also thought I could make a nice salad dressing with it too. Or maybe it's just time for me to chill my Martini glasses at home. Ooh, I almost forgot. They have out outdoor seating, and a woman came in and ordered two drinks, and mentioned she was sitting outside because she has her dog. The bartender told her dogs are welcome both inside and outside. I loved hearing this, maybe next time I will bring my dog. This is also one of the things I love about this side of the finger lakes, dogs are welcome in a lot of businesses.
