Super cute spot with lots of unique cider options and great cornbread/desserts!…read more We tried the Funkhouse, Sparkling Cab Franc, Fruit of the Bloom, and Persici (in order from dry to sweet). My favorites were the Fruit of the Bloom which is infused with ginger as well as the Funkhouse. I liked how crisp the funkhouse was and I loved the ginger note in fruit of the bloom. The others were okyay too, persici was very sweet but paired nicely with the ginger hazelnut baklava which was incredible! I am allergic to pistachios, so I loved that I could eat their baklava! We also tried the cornbread with strawberry and jalapeno butter- absolutely incredible. I am from the south and have had a lot of cornbread but this truly stands out. It came out warm with a slight crunch from the crust while maintaining the perfect crumb inside. Just crumbly enough and not too try! I also really enjoyed the jalapeno and strawberry butters- you can tell they use high quality butter, they almost reminded me of goat cheese. I preferred the jalapeno butter a tad more but both were great! The exterior is beautiful- the views are very nice. I would highly recommend coming on a warm day and sitting outside. We initially sat on the balcony but moved due to the bees. The tables underneath the white tent were shaded and bee-free. Service was pretty quick- our ciders came out almost immediately. We had to wait ~10-15 minutes for the cornbread though, but I didn't mind especially given it was warm! Overall, I would highly recommend!

Went on a day trip to Seneca Falls and was looking for places that looked interesting to stop on…read morethe way, and this fit the bill. A farm-to-table eatery and cider house with a ton of ciders to choose from, or you can order a cocktail. Great seating options inside and out. We were so sad we had already eaten, because they have a huge smoker on site and do pulled pork sammies on a daily basis as well as on the weekend all kinds of bbq, including ribs, house made chorizo and sides. My friend and I both tried the flight, and we both ordered different ciders so we could try each other's. We especially liked the strawberry infused one best (fragaria) with the cidre blanc coming in second. We also learned that there is live music on Fridays with the bbq, and there is a huge tent with tons of seating for large crowds. Service was wonderful, although we did come on a nonbusy weekday. Definitely a great spot for the area.

The bartender/waitress customer service is unacceptable; okay so when my gf walked into the bar she walked up and sat in the middle waiting to order flight of ciders. The bartender ignored her. There was a couple that was there before my gf so she took care of them (understandable). There were two other couples that walked in after my gf, they then sat at each end of the bar to order (there's 3 orders to be taken atp and my gf should be next). The bartender skipped my gf even tho she was there first, waiting right in the middle area of the bar to order (bartender walked each end of the bar and ignore the person in the middle? ) After she took care of the couples, another couple walked in and she immediately took care of them again "u closing ur tap? Let me help u" (while my gf still waits). After everyone got their drinks and walked outside, my gf was able to order the drinks. Idk what was the issue, my gf and I were the only POC there (there is a racist reputation online for the town of Penfield. Look it up) I hate to say that was the reason but idk. The view there was very beautiful but sad we had unfortunate experience. #ZeroTipExperience

I stopped by Treetops Cidery on a Friday afternoon during a July 2025 vacation stay in an AirBnB…read morelake house on West Bluff Drive (near Keuka Lake State Park). It was only a 10 minute drive across Bluff Point. If you're staying near or in Penn Yan, I would recommend a visit. Lots of pluses. First, this is a local, family-owned cidery that opened in October 2024. The Geertz brothers (Eric and Doug) are co-owners. I was served by Eric who is an American Airlines pilot (3-4 days per week) and grew up in Penn Yan, NY. His father and grandfather were also pilots, so you'll see aviation images in the tasting room. Second, the handcrafted ciders had a wide variety and mix of sweet and tart flavors. I personally liked the "Locals Only Catawba", but the Grape Escape is one of their bestsellers (especially in the fall). A sample flight of 5 different ciders is $15 and a pint is $7. Third, it has a friendly and down-to-earth vibe. I did not feel rushed on a Friday afternoon. Overall, it's worth a visit if you're staying near or in Penn Yan, NY (on Keuka Lake). If their cider cans are not available, you can order a $25 glass growler (which must be kept in a refrigerator and preferably consumed within 2-3 days after opening).
