This was a very cute venue. Very open to all kinds of people; groups, singles, dates, family and even pets. We were looking for a place that was pet friendly on the way back from Watkins Glenn. They have a good food system with ordering drinks and food at the same time. You get a vibrating buzzer to notify you of your food being done. A lot of spots for photo ops. The Mexican food was very good. Slightly spicy but not more than just from seasoning. The drinks were phenomenal. The boozy root beer is a must try!! Recommended for sure. Great location close to the lake. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty Mexican menu with reasonable portion sizes. We got take out and fries stayed crispy! We ordered a flight while waiting on food, and then bought three bottles a cider for the way home. I had the pork quesadilla, other half had the chicken burrito. Wanted to go to this place so bad after seeing it on Facebook with all the colorful ciders. The place itself is on a moderate size farm area very close to the downtown area. There is one large barn with a large walk up bar, Mexican food stand, and some indoor seating. Outside there is a large covered porch, with plenty of seating and on the grass there are a bunch of tables. There was an outdoor stage but no one was playing. Inside there are bathrooms and there is a shelf with games for people to barrow. The service was great and prompt. We ordered our drinks at the bar and you also order your food from the bar. For the food you are given a beeper thing and go to the window to pick it up when it's ready. The Mexican food was average but filling. For drinks I got the cider flight and my husband got a cider. They do have cocktails as well. The flight looked cute but honestly I didn't care much for the taste of the ciders. This place is both kid and dog friendly, that being said there was a lot of kids running around everywhere which usually isn't an issue but half the time there would be some random kid at our table which got old quick since we were just trying to eat and enjoy our time. We absolutely love it here! One of my favorite spots to just wind down and have a good night out. Star Cider is constantly putting out new events and ciders and it an absolute joy to check out whatever they have going on. I also have to give a huge shout out to the staff. They're some of the friendliest people in the FLX region and they really make this place special and extra fun! I've visited this cidery more times than I can count and I've never been disappointed. There's a constant rotation of awesome ciders (my fav is the frisky whiskey but it's close with the millions of peaches and the new rye barrel aged cider) and it's really cool to see a place have so much fun with their product and find new ways to innovate. One of the absolute best parts of this place is that they also partner with Cake Baby Cakes for a number of special events. Her cupcakes are so amazing and they pair very well with their ciders. Hands down the best Cidery in the Rochester area! Beautiful view- great prices and nice staff! You can't ask for more! They frequently change their ciders based on the season. I just tried the Orange Clove !!! And LOVED it!!! Such a great combination of flavors!!! They have growlers, a AWESOME MERCH and a Mug Club! I come here regularly to try all the different ciders and to enjoy sitting outside by the fire pits! When it's warm out they also have live music outside. This place was beautiful and we enjoyed our visit very much. We came here on a Monday evening at first and unfortunately their kitchen is closed on Mondays. So we knew we had to come back before our trip ended. They have a gorgeous space and everyone we talked to were super helpful. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We did wish there were heaters available outside since it was a cooler fall night. Everyone in our group enjoyed their cider and beer. Their cider-ita slushy was delicious and probably my favorite. Tasty although slightly soggy but still tasted great since we were starving. I had just completed a bike ride around a part of the lake and the first cider went down way too easy. It was New Years day so i was surprised they were open but so glad they were. Was greeted by a friendly young guy as soon as we came in. Tried a flight of every cider on tap. My favorites were hazy daze, five point and the ginger cider. I was surprised i liked the ginger one because i don't like ginger beer but it was delightful. Their kitchen was closed for the holiday but would definitely go back to try their food too if were ever in the area. Would love to come back in the warmer weather. I have read so many good things about this cidery that we drove almost an hour to visit and it did not disappoint! We had a tasting and food from Neno's. The siders we got were blue well which is a semi-sweet blueberry cider that looks teal and a red one which has hibiscus and something and then we also got the Apple y ever after and the traditional. The Apple-y ever after is lighter almost taste like a wine like a white wine while the traditional one is just pretty standard it tastes the most apple-y actually. The red hibiscus one we feel like it was kind of similar to the raspberry gose that we had at Young Lion but it wasn't as sour as that one. As for the blue whale I think the color looks pretty even though I couldn't taste the blueberry even though I know that color has a lot to do with the anthocyanin in the blueberry when it meets something alkaline. The place is Clean and beautiful, of course the reason we went was the cider, but ended up loving everything. From the wonderful people working here to the delicious drinks. Stopped for a look around on a Tuesday around lunch time. Had a great Ringo Starr cocktail. The young lady behind the bar was very helpful and super nice. She explained about Taco Tuesday - tacos come in twos and on Tuesday you get three for same price & you can mix and match. I had two shrimp & 1 pork belly taco. All 3 were fabulous. I am particularly fond of pork belly and you don't see it on menus all that often so I was over the moon to see it on the menu. Be sure to tip the staff in the kitchen as well as the server behind the bar. It has been a tough past road for our restaurant owners & employees. We are so fortunate to have the great selection of places to eat & drink in our area. One more hidden gem in our Finger Lakes. P.S. - enjoyed Dainty Donuts when they were there this past winter.
