Amazing location with the most incredible interior decor! So impressive. The atmosphere and vibe are phenomenally cool. Vinyl spinning and lots of albums to peruse. The street-side/outdoor seating is also impressive, cozy and unique! Popcorn on the house is always appreciated. We did try (on multiple occasions) to order something without alcohol at the bar (some options were advertised) but they never had anything good available aside from an old can of Sunkist Orange (which they didn't open for us) or tap water. This is pretty disappointing considering NA and mocktails are becoming fairly ubiquitous for most places today. The service was at best mediocre: staff were friendly but, slow and befuddled. Room for improvement. We will keep trying. read more

Tiny place, but very cute and cozy. Great atmosphere. The record player is an amazing touch.. Books and board games too! They also have a popcorn machine for a little snack. I love the finished wood bar top, it's absolutely beautiful. The bartender was amazing, very sweet woman. We had another male bartender who sat and talked with us a while too which was pretty cool. A local recommended that we stop by here and we were not disappointed! Friendly service and a wide variety of ciders and beers to choose from. The vibe was very chill and they were spinning b a Lou Reed record. We sat in the patio area and each had a flight. It was nice that you can mix and match ciders and beers for your flights. Wowowowooww , I wish they had a spot like this in nyc! They had some excellent ciders that my friends and I loved! The lavender tea cider was off the charts delicious, we each ended up taking a growler to take home with us. While we were ordering , my friend and I found out this spot is actually owned and run by a husband and wife. And the best part, they offer tiny 6oz glasses if you only want a small amount ! Live music was happening, and as I ordered my first beer, a seat opened up outside on the bench, which i ended up staying at for about 3-4 hours. Awesome hipster brewery (in a good way) with a wall of vinyl and books and darts and a bunch of tasty beer. We had a couple of four-drink flights (combo of sour beer and cider) and were impressed with the quality. The Stour Sout was particularly tasty, but it was all good. We stopped in last night to close off our self-guided brewery tour. I am so glad that we landed on this place as part of our trip. Many of us ordered their Lavender Tea cider. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this was. The taste was so pleasant and floral. It was sweet, but enjoyably so! I ended up taking a 64oz growler of it to go. I also got to try their plum cider which was much more subtle but also delicious! Those two were my favorites. The two men manning the bar were so friendly. One of them was the owner who told us that he started the place with his then-girlfriend. The other was super nice too and let us pick the next record to be played on their vinyl record player (encased by a beer barrel). They're also dog friendly. One patron let his dog come around and greet the rest of us cider-heads. It was adorbs! I would definitely return when I come visit Geneva again! read more

Such a cool spot! Lake Drum has such a wide variety of beer and ciders - something for everyone. I tried a few, but the lavender cider stuck out the most. Unlike anything I've had before. A must try! It has a very trendy location right in the center of Geneva. Even had some fresh home grown produce for sale produced by one of their employees. To top it all off, the owner sat with us for a bit and gave us the whole back story of how he got started. He was a wonderful host! read more

We were spending a long weekend at the Fingerlakes and wanted to stop by a microbrewery and pickup a growler to go back to the hotel with. Since this place open late and had good reviews, we were happy to come and check it out. Big mistake... While the location and decor were good with outdoor seating and chilled atmosphere, the beer were awful. We tried everything on tap, even the ciders, and could not bring ourselves to buy a growler-full of anything. My advise is... Try two flights. *** First recommendation- try the Mega Dog DIPA. It's hoppy, but doesn't kill you on bitterness. But it's absolutely BURSTING with citrusy goodness, far more so than other citrusy ipas made with some variation of citra hops-tasting grapefruit flavors. *** Second, try the west coast Craig Dog IPA. Not as citrusy, but wow, what a smooth ipa. Almost as good as the ones I've had on the actual west coast. Who'd have thought you'd find them here? *** Also try the buckwheat stout. I didn't like the blonde sour, but I can tell it's a top-notch quality brewery so I'm guessing many with a different palette will. *** I wish they had a light beer for my partner. Laura was an amazing bartender! Our favorite was #4 we got a flight but then decided on a growler to go! Everyone is super nice and gives nice reviews of the beers / ciders while ordering! You definitely feel like a regular!!! COVID requirements: wear a mask while inside ,everything is enforced and everything is sanitized, bathroom has "Scrubs" lyrics while washing hands in the bathroom for humor which is so amazing!!! Yelp to the rescue! Nothing was open and we needed a drink. It was one of those weekends. Thank goodness for this little app we have here because it led us to Lake Drum. The space is so cozy, local, and welcoming. The bartender was chill and the music really set the mood as they had a record player our front with Bob Marley on rotation when we were there. It exudes a cool coffeehouse vibe, add the beer. Couches and lots of seating in the quaint space that's open and airy. They had about 6 ciders on tap and another 6 other local items ranging from one Lake Drum tap (Shandy) to IPAs and witte beers mostly from the regional NY area constantly rotating. It's the little things here. Simple, but special. Your own portion of popcorn to munch on and glass can-style cups for the beers. I can't wait to go back! read more

Local. Cozy. Unique. Love the high top bar, no bar stools. I love the sofa and the long table with seating in the back. Funky record collection and floor to ceiling (almost) bookcases. Loved the bathroom too. The men's room door signage is adorable. The beer we sampled was tasty and we loved the glassware. They currently have a variety of beer and wine on tap. Cold pressed coffee on tap too. The record player in the barrel in the window belted out sounds only a needle could produce. The space was packed early Friday night. Someone was even eating a burrito at the bar from the new place up the street. Geneva is stepping up its game and Lake Drum is a shining example. Well done. read more

My wife, Stella (our BMD dog) and I stopped in on a Saturday night after driving around Seneca lake . Great find !!! This is a cozy, dog friendly little brew house. Victor, I believe is his name said that " we're dog friendly if she's well behaved". The place has a great relaxing vibe to it as well as some very good beer. Outdoor seating with an outdoor heater adds a nice touch. The Bourbon and Roasted Buckwheat Stout was very good but my favorite was an IPA. Sorry I'm not sure of the name, try them all. I'd recommend this place to friends and would stop back when we visit the area again. read more

We decided to give Lake Drum a second chance based on Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, same result. The sour we tried was repulsive. Tasted like vinegar. I ordered a pale ale. It's a great place to catch up with friends or meet new faces. Cozy, unique, and thoughtful space created with lots of personal and artistic touches. The beer and cider selection is diverse and there are many ways to enjoy from pints, flights, and growlers to-go. In terms of favorites, the "Bad Dog IPA" is my go-to. Ok so 5 stars and a grain of salt for this place. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the locality of the beverages, the music, and the decor. The grain of salt? The unique atmosphere might not be perfect for everyone. That being said, I'd go here and grab a drink before you make any such determination because at the very least this place is a great experience. The drink menu is written in chalk above the bar, so I don't think it's a stretch to say that the menu probably changes from time to time, which is great for the sake of variety. Perhaps the best feature of this place is the growler. Whether it's 1/2 of one or the full 64 oz variety. The reason this is great is that you get 4 pints of great beer/cider for a great price (although I do believe you need to buy the growler). Again this place was really cool. I'd recommend everyone try it. Take a group, have a good time and split a growler or two. read more

This place had music which was cool but so tiny and overcrowded. My friends and I sat back by the brew room and there is like a bar set up with some chairs. The bar area or table has open slats in it which is a totally bad idea because if your drink happens to not set flat and get caught in one of the open slats on the table it will tip and spill all over.. that happened to me. Staying in Geneva for the night on our way to Niagara Falls and found this place while looking for a brewery open later on Yelp. My boyfriend and I both tried a flight of beers as well as a full pour, once we picked one that we liked. The beers were pretty good and the service was pretty great. The bartender was friendly and was giving us recommendations on where to eat in the area. The owner was also there hanging out and was super friendly and knowledgeable. I thought it was cool that they served other beers and wines from the area as it's nice to see people helping each other out. The beer was excellent. I had 2 IPAs, a golden ale and an English brown ale. All of them were excellent, and I especially enjoyed the Lake Life and the Life's Lemons IPAs. My girlfriend loved their lavender cider. The best part about this experience was the conversation we had with the owner. He was so happy to share his story and tell us about his brewery. He was super outgoing and down to earth, and we had fun having a laugh with a flight. We really enjoyed it and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes good company and great beer. read more

This review has two parts 1) Helping a guy in need. My car broke down on a Sunday night in front of his bar (no you can't make this up) at closing time. He feels my pain and serves me a beer while I wait and he closes up. This make him my new best friend. 2) Great craft beers, and he knows his stuff. I had an IPA and it was great. We were visiting one weekend during cider week and was told to check this place out. What a find. We were sad it was far away from where we lived as this would totally be a regular hangout for us. These guys are brewing up some really nice beers and cider. We did a sampler and got to taste a range of things. I remember having a really nice sour beer. Fantastic spot. We were here looking for something on a Thursday, found this place literally across the street from our hotel. We had about 8 beers total and spent 28 dollars and that blew our minds. Casual, friendly, awesome gem... neat space with games, books and records around. Large farm table to feast at when you bring in your own food. Popcorn is provided. They offer area wines from some of the best local wineries. Their beers we tried were all good. We met two friendly local Genevans - Jenn and Judd - they took us to their next stop, a hidden Speakeasy, bought us drinks and directed us to where we could catch the World Series and a bite to eat.
