The brewery offers an *exceptional* view of Cayuga Lake, no matter where you are. There is plenty of seating between in the (open air with ceiling fans) building, the covered porch, and in the garden area. There are bocce ball and cornhole areas, as well as two skeeball machines (these were out of order during our visit, but hopefully they'll get them up and running soon!). The beverage menu is extensive, offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options including kombucha, soda, wine, and a local whiskey. The aesthetics are clean, welcoming, and laid back in the best way. This is a place I could easily spend hours with a group, and everyone would be happy. During our visit, there was a family here with a few pre-teen kids, and it didn't feel inappropriate or uncomfortable, so it seems like a good family friendlier brewery. Food offerings are limited, a few pizza choices and a soft pretzel. We tried the soft pretzel and were very happy with it, and the mustard it was served with was delicious! We didn't try a pizza, but they looked very good! We visit this area several times a summer for visits to Taughannock, and this is absolutely going on our list of places we will be stopping at during those day trips!

We also split the HUGE pretzel, which came with mustard and queso. The mustard had a good amount of kick to it, but was not overly spicy. The queso was fine, but a little grainy. I wish we had more of the mustard! As for the place itself, it was a PERFECT day, and this place was a good complement to it. There are two levels, and there's a really nice deck on the top floor, with ample bar stool and table seating. My only knock was the seemingly omnipresent yellowjackets (which happens). Inside, the top level has a bar and plenty of seating, too. Downstairs was a little more intimate. The staff was very kind and gave us a good guide to where things were (we ordered downstairs but hung out upstairs). I would definitely recommend going here!

Like previous reviews mentioned, Lost Kingdom used to be a firehouse that was converted into a brewery. They kept the firehouse feel with large open garage doors upon entry, firehouse memorabilia throughout the space (including an entire half of an old firetruck you can climb on), and by being pet friendly. This isn't a big brewery, but the feel and decor has been fully modernized - I was a fan of the aesthetics. The employees were super friendly and had a good sense of humor. They also had a nice selection of beers and really large, private bathrooms (ALWAYS a plus ;-) Definitely worth a stop if you're drinking around the lakes.

We had pretty much any choice of seating and started with their Festbier & Altbier. For food we shared their Bavarian Pretzel Bites, Pork Schnitzel & their Beer Brat. All of it was excellent - days later and we're still talking about their coleslaw. In a world where breweries have opted for serving pizza, it was a fun change to have German food. I wasn't prepared for her public debut, but did get the last quarter which was outstanding! Regarding the brews, we have some really good ones, and some that were not. Beer taste is a personal preference and I love a good Pumpkin Ale, but whatever was posing as a pumpkin beer here was not very good. Everything else, though, was great!
