They kept the firehouse feel with large open garage doors upon entry, firehouse memorabilia throughout the space (including an entire half of an old firetruck you can climb on), and by being pet friendly. This isn't a big brewery, but the feel and decor has been fully modernized - I was a fan of the aesthetics. The employees were super friendly and had a good sense of humor. They also had a nice selection of beers and really large, private bathrooms (ALWAYS a plus ;-) Definitely worth a stop if you're drinking around the lakes.

I wasn't prepared for her public debut, but did get the last quarter which was outstanding! Regarding the brews, we have some really good ones, and some that were not. Beer taste is a personal preference and I love a good Pumpkin Ale, but whatever was posing as a pumpkin beer here was not very good. Everything else, though, was great!
