Wow, we loved this place! Stopped in for a quick drink and thought it would be just a run of the mill brewery, but it was so much more! They specialize in unique beers. Two don't use hops (they were so good) and one was a darker beer brewed with apples (so unique!). The bartender explained things perfectly and clearly was an expert and enthusiastic about the beers. They also had an awesome outdoor space and lots of other drink options (slushees (NA and alcoholic) cider etc.). There is something here for everyone! read more

This was such a neat place. They also serve wine and liquor, and wine slushies. I did a tasting, some interesting brews, one made without hops but with dandelion's. I'm more of an IPA, they don't have those but they had some good ones. I liked the red ale and a summer one they had. Great spot. Kind of hidden from the road. But once you find the tasting room the owners make you feel like long time friends. All the beers come with great stories that really amplify the tasting experience. All English style beers as well. So make sure you are ready for that. Good beer and different from the norm. After touring a few wineries we came across Sarah and her husbands terrific brewery. She was so personable throughout our visit from discussing how they started the brewery to how they support the local communities through the art hanging and so much more. We all did the tasting and highly recommend it. It is a good size pour of each beer and you are able to keep your glass. The brewery itself has so many little details. The map of where everyone is from was my favorite. Great vibe! Looking forward to returning again - and ordering a case when bottling begins! read more

We love LyonSmith Brewing! We've been three to four times now and they've been great every time! Having brewed my own beer and being fairly knowledgeable about the process, I truly appreciate the level of detail and flavors they provide in ALL of their brews. I don't think they have a single brew that I don't like. There is a story behind each beer including the history behind them and their ingredients! It is a great time at the Lyon Smith Brewery! We are in our 30s and have two small kids. Not only is it acceptable to bring your kids it is almost encouraged! There are toys to play with and everything is toddler proofed to let the little tots run free while you enjoy your tasting. We will be back again, and again! Thanks guys! read more

Found it on yelp, the bartender, Axel, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us great tips on all the places to go and all the things to drink in the area! I am here with some of my closest friends for their wedding weekend and Dave of LyonSmith Brewing Co. has truly added to our fun! He is an excellent host and brewer. He has a story to go with each permanent beer and has shared family stories, too, which makes this a unique and wonderful place to visit. Not to mention the beer is great!! We just returned home from a trip to the Finger Lakes. It goes without saying that over the past few days we visited multiple breweries and wineries but Lyonsmith Brewing Company was the only one we went to twice, they are well worth the extra visit. The atmosphere in the brewery was awesome! The owners are really outgoing and talkative and they make you feel welcomed as soon as you arrive; the moment you walk in to the tasting room you know you are in a friendly place. They love what they do and it shows! Their beers are great, they're balanced exactly like they should be. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a pint or two, you won't be disappointed!! read more
