MJ guides you thru the lake and gave us backstories on nearly all famous buildings and wineries, gave suggestions on where to eat, where to hang out. A comedian as well, she'll have you laughing the entire ride. Mimi's gregariousness is unmatched. They will guide you on a wine tour and while you enjoy your flights of wine they will go to the NEXT place BEFORE YOU GET THERE so you get the red carpet treatment as you enter. No one does that! I couldn't have asked for a better day on the lake with a reunion of 10 college friends. MJ made sure we were accommodated for even through some set-backs out of anyone's control. I wasn't the one to hire MJ but I felt obligated to write a review for her because she did a tremendous job of entertaining us. Not once did I feel unsafe, or questioned our trip. She was professional and knew exactly how to blend in with our group. The lake is beautiful, the ride was nice, and the day was fun but MJ made 10+ inappropriate comments throughout the day, one of which being "shut the fuck up" (ooopsie). She was making weird comments about butts and penis', flagged. Also slapped a few butts??? We were a bachelorette party but an extremely calm one and felt uncomfortable at times. She made multiple comments about the weight of the group. We understand weight distribution for the boat, but to talk about the weight of people and to suggest diets without being asked for diet tips is extremely insulting to someone. Also telling us how she hooked with a bartender in town, being comfortable with a group is one thing but you can be comfortable and professional. She was nice BUT I would rather drown than use her services again. I'm sure with a family she's different, but I really can't be too sure. read more

A wonderfully-beautiful experience! We enjoyed our ride along Lake Keuka. M.J. scheduled our booking and Captain Patrick was personable and fun. He gave us a tour and showed us the houses along the water. When we got to the middle of the lake, one other gentleman on our tour and I enjoyed a swim. There was nothing like it! Was a great experience wading in that clean, fresh, and cool water. We docked for a fuel-up and returned. The tour was supposed to be 100 minutes but I think we were given extra time. Afterwards as part of an upgrade, we visited 2 vineyards and enjoyed five samplings at each (10 each really because my wife and I shared). The upgrade at $69 p/p was a bit expensive, but very enjoyable. All-in-all, we will definitely schedule another trip on the Keuka Water Taxi when we return to the Finger Lakes. read more

MUST-DO ACTIVITY while at Keuka!! MJ was fantastic while taking us out for my friends bachelorette party. As the day was approaching, she was in contact with us trying to figure out the best time to take us out since the weather was looking questionable. Since our time had to be cut from 4 hours to two hours due to the weather, she offered to give us a partial refund and took us out for free the next day for another 3 1/2 hours! She was really delightful, gave us a tour of the wineries and beautiful scenery on the lake. We were able to swim and relax and she even took us to a bar. Had a horrible interaction with OnKeuka Water Taxi's driver. We were patiently waiting in line at the Jake's Boat Livery for gasoline and to return our speedboat to the slip. As we waited in line we began to drift to windward with nobody behind us. But we had to stop to wait for the Sheriff's vehicle. The Sheriff was trying to back into a slip and I guess having some trouble with rough waters because they kept going back and forth. By the time the sheriff was in, we adjusted our course, but the OnKeuka taxi boat tried to cut in and muttered some incendiary comments. We asked for the driver to backup their pontoon boat a bit and received a poor response and some rude facial expressions. Then after the line was adjusted, she shouted about us not using the forward gas slip which was tightly adjacent to the sheriff's boat (there's only one pump so there's no need to rush to slip 2 when the single pump is in use). She cut us off and went to that spot. The gas attendant informed her she would have to wait to fill up until after us because we were in line. She had a rude remark for the attendant as we tied on and stormed off shouting to us as she pulled away "I guess you think I'm the devil and want me to burn in hell now". Then she drove off. I was still shocked when the gas attendant remarked to me that she does this all the time, but what shocked me more was that this was WITH patrons on-board. I would not recommend this rude business and I will not be using them anytime in the future based solely on this interaction. read more

We had a fantastic outing with MaryJo (MJ) and her staff on Keuka lake this Memorial Day weekend! MJ was very knowledgeable about the wineries, breweries, history, and architecture around the lake, taking time as we toured to highlight the many sights and points of interest. We felt very safe on the boat having been given a safety orientation once aboard and seeing MJ and her staff operate their vessel in a very professional manor. While on our lake tour we also learned of the winery, brewery, and the new foodie tours that OnKeuka also offers. We look forward to many returns to Keuka lake thanks to this service. read more

This is a terrific way to see and enjoy Keuka Lake. The boat was spotless and in excellent condition. The captain was both a skilled sailor and a perfect host. There were 8 adults (one 74 years old) and 5 children, one a toddler. The captain anticipated all our various needs, making for a comfortable and interesting four-hour outing on the water. We had a fantastic afternoon with OnKeuka. The boat picked up our group in Hammondsport and took us north on the lake for about 45 minutes. Captain Sandy was very knowledgeable about the lake and various landmarks along the way, and managed to keep us dry in some choppy waters. Mary Jo picked us up at the dock at Jake's and shuttled us to 3 breweries/wineries (Steuben Brewing, Point of the Bluff, and Heron Hill), which she had selected for us based on conversations before our trip. All were great, but Heron Hill was our favorite. For the finale, Mary Jo took us to a scenic spot overlooking Keuka Lake for a couple of group pictures. She did a great job herding our group of cats from spot to spot and really went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our tour. I highly recommend OnKeuka! read more

We scheduled a private tour around Keuka over the Memorial Day weekend. MJ was very accommodating, professional and informative. We are looking forward to booking additional tours in the near future. She was a little behind and had already arranged for a round on her with the hostess. She was super informative and personable making sure every stop had our tastes ahead of time.
