My cousin and I were visiting the finger lakes area and decided to look for e-bike rentals because there's so much fun. This business was the only one as far as I can tell that offered these rentals. For $60 for a full day it was a great deal to ride around the Keuka outlet trail and to the nearby Anthony road winery in Dresden. The owner is very personable and kind. Apparently he just got the bikes in this year so we are quite fortunate. They performed very well on the trail and have lots of battery life for a full day. So thankful for fun day! Also, the shop is not easy to find. It's off the main road down an incline towards a little bridge.

When we got to the boat launch I was happy to see that they had the same boat that I had, in a newer model. Basically, this means that they don't rent you the very cheapest base model kayak, you'll be in a boat you may actually really enjoy and be comfortable in. When we called to reserve John, the owner, offered the option of a sit-on-top (open boat) which I declined. If you like those, they had very nice ones as well. This can be a good option for first timers because they are a little wider and less likely to tip. They also have Stand-up paddle boards and tandem kayaks for rent for the brave. The price was super reasonable for two hours, and there is a Group-on for a 4 hour rental at the two hour price. Next time I may bring a picnic and do the 4 hour option. Canadice Lake is an unbeatable kayak location, it's the water supply for Rochester, so there are no houses on the lake side and basically no motor boats. When you hit the water you'll find yourself able to enjoy quite reflection. This is truly a kayakers paradise and if you don't have kayaks this is the best place to rent. John was awesome, and super accommodating. He told us about upcoming events and was super easy going. I will absolutely be back here to rent again. Pro-tip- if you want to set up a super impressive date, you can take someone for a kayak rental, pack a picnic and have a nice quiet day.

I had come to Auburn to visit family. It had been raining all week. I was so ready to get some time…read moreoutside. I had been talking to one of the owners, Audrey, and managed to arrange to go over after the rain stopped yesterday. It turned out to be a stunning afternoon. The water was completely clear and almost flat. I took out a kayak first. Then went back and joined a small group for a stand-up paddle board lesson. The owners are very personable and knowledgeable. They give you life jackets, and a whistle, just in case. They also had a bunch of dog life jackets. It's $18 for an hour on the paddle board and $12 for an hour on the kayak. They have the $2 park parking passes there. Weather permitting they are normally open from 11am-6pm during the summer. If you have a group, you can also call ahead and arrange a time that works for you. They can also deliver the water toys. If you wanted to rent boards for a party or for a weekend that could probably be done as well. I'm kinda bummed my birthday is in March! As it is, I'll definitely be back.

Mark knew exactly where to take him on the lake to catch a lot of fish. We are looking forward to visiting the Finger Lakes region again so we can both go fishing and kayaking!

FYI: DO NOT GET THIS PLACE CONFUSED WITH PADDLE-N-MORE! (I almost made the mistake of confusing…read morethem as the same business) Super easy/smooth process, with great friendly service. I booked my reservation online for 12:30PM for a 2-person/tandem kayak. My friend and I signed the waivers online ahead of time to save paper and time. On the day of my reservation, we were running a bit late and called a few hours before to ask if they could push our reservation to 1:00PM--they said no problem. When we got there, we went into the main office and found out that they have canoes, so we asked if we could change it and it turned out to be the same price as the tandem kayak so they switched it with no problem. The process from check-in to getting on the water was about 10 minutes (there was no one else there docking at the moment). The staff was very friendly and nice, knew what they were doing and clear in their explanations. If you want to paddle to Cayuga Lake, I recommend doing 4-hours so you don't have to haul ass back and forth in 2 hours, which is what we booked. We hit Cayuga Lake in about 35 minutes (non-stop paddling) and had some time to explore along Stewart Park, but that's all we ended up having time for before having to head back to the paddle dock.

I rented a paddle b board from these folks over the summer. They are by far the cheapest place to…read morerent them in the finger lakes. There are not many other options but the alternatives are incredibly expensive, so much so you would almost be better off just buying one! They have nice entry level boards in good shape. And if you are renting them long enough they will drop them off and pick them up. Easy to get to on the west side of Seneca Lake. Make sure to reserve it in advance though since they rent them out quickly in peak times.
