This review is for Layland Finger Lakes also known as Flint Creek Campgrounds…read more I have camped for many years. I have been to some crappy campgrounds. But this was by far the worst. We had NEVER CAMPED HERE BEFORE. We joined in October of 2024 for the 2025 season. This campground is run by a corporate company. There are managers there. The managers 90% Of the time were out to the PA campground. Yes they were out to the PA campground due to staffing issues there. So that tells the campers at Layland who cares As the corporation owns 4 other campgrounds. Yes we have a trailer. But I like to take long hot showers. The bathrooms are beyond disgusting. I don't think they are ever cleaned. Or if they are it's very seldom. We had a campsite. My husband would go out once a week to try and put our trailer where it needed to be. Due to the drainage and mud couldn't. Finally at the middle of June he asked for another site. We had paid for when the campground opened. We could not use the campground until we got another site in the middle of June. No compensation for not being able to camp. The last straw was the site we had there are steel sewer tanks. They had just drained the tank and my husbands right foot went down through to the tank. My husband is 6" Tall. If that had been a toddler it could have been devastating . Now if they had acted right away and replaced the tank. That would have been great. But this happened on 8/48/2/20-25. we pulled our trailer out on 8/25 or around there. Nothing had been done to fix the problem. What if that was a toddler. I do have photos of right after the tank collapsed and their temporary fix. But I will not post them. This campground is not safe and not sanitary. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. It's sad because the campground has a lot of potential. But they don't care. All they care about is making the campground an all year campground. The manager will say it takes time the corporation just bought it 2 years ago. Well soap and water and disinfectants are not that expensive. Hire a seasonal camper to maintain the bathrooms. Again I was lucky I have a trailer. Feel really bad for tents they don't have a choice. I would go on Facebook and post this review. But I made comments about the managers and the bathrooms. lol I got blocked.

This campground was amazing until the new owners took over this summer. The managers got in cahoots…read morewith some of the seasonal campers who drove the majority of seasonals out leaving the campground desolate and sad. These seasonals have been here for many many years. Very sad how they ran their bread and butter out of a fast campground. I don't recommend going here. I used to. Also be careful as they will delete your reviews on Facebook if it's negative or kick you off property of you object to or go against anything they do. And learning that the seasonals that they befriended sang "na na na hey hey goodbye " as decade long seasonals left with their campers is disgusting. I hope the new owners are proud of the management team that they hired. Ruined a beautiful campground!

Amazing RV park!I can't stop talking about the Finger Lakes RV park and the great experience we had…read morethere. FLRV opened in the last couple years and is a great addition to the camping options around the Finger Lakes. Located about 1/3 of the way up the eastern side of Seneca Lake, the location provides easy access to the wineries, distilleries, and breweries along the lake. This is a family owned campground and the owners were very friendly and took pride in their business. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies are included at check-in.  The campground sites are very large and spread out. Being a newer campground, the trees are small, but that did not take away from the experience. Easy maneuverability, great wifi and water pressure, along with level sites make it a great place to stay. The bath house is emmaculate and rivals those at Fort Wilderness Resort. Amenities are minimal (no pool, playground, or golf carts), but they are bookended by two wineries with walking paths from the campground. Due to the minimal amenities, it is very quiet and relaxing especially in the evenings sitting around the campfire.  I look forward to returning to the Finger Lakes RV park as this is easily one of our top campgrounds when needing to relax.

The resort is walking distance to two wine tasting rooms, a convenience store and a diner. Nicely appointed new clean bathrooms and dog park!!! Looking forward to my trip next year!

Now as an adult I can appreciate it even more! There are plenty of trails to explore by foot or bike. If that's not your speed, you can rent the paddle boats or a canoe to go around Rabbit Island, go fishing, or go for a dip in the lake. It's a nice quiet campground and coming from the city, you can really see the stars out there! If tent camping or RV camping isn't your thing, you can go glamping and rent one of their cabins. They're perfect to enjoy with some family or friends (I've done both on a few occasions). Bonus- you get your own shower, toilet and a fully functional kitchen! But you'll have to book them early as they can go fast! My family has long ties with the Bull family and they are truly amazing people! Definitely book a weekend (or a season) with Camp Arrowhead!
