I signed my sister and I up for this , several months ago . We were absolutely thrilled with our entire day. We were picked up promptly at our hotel , as stated . We quickly discussed with fellow travelers what we wanted to go to . We all voted on a cheese place , several vineyards and a brewery . Zach knew exactly where to take us, and did it a very scenic route. He was more then willing to answer any questions. He grew up in the area and is very knowledgable about each place he took us , as well as the lakes, industry , and farming in the community . The Van is a delight . We were 100% thrilled with the value of the trip . Way better way to see the vineyards then driving yourself .

Zach's Winewagon was the perfect way to explore the finger lakes!!! We got in 4 wineries and 2 breweries in our 6 hour tour and he took us to the best spots! We loved being able to eat and drink whatever we wanted in the bus and his music taste was fitting! If your looking to get the best value for your money this is the way to go!!! When we come back to this area we would 100% book this again! Great service!

This was the most fun wine tour that I have done. Zack is a resident of Geneva and was very informative about the wineries and the beautiful lakes. He will personalize your tour based on your taste. Expect a gentleman as your tour guide. Zack will open the cute little Volkswagen bus door and assist you out and in each and every time you stop. He leads you into each winery and introduces you to the staff who all know him. He has a good sense of humor. He will talk with his guests but he also is patient and waits quietly while we enjoy the wineries. I highly recommend Zack and his green Volkswagen tour!

First off, let me say that it is an absolute must to go with a tour company. There's literally over 100 different wineries in the region so you definitely need someone to help bring you to the best ones. I mean... who wants to drive and follow waze when you can chill out in the back, laugh, and blast your music while someone else does the driving? I think it's a bonus that they allow you to play ur iPhone over the bus speakers so that you can jam out to your own stuff. We got Dave as our driver and he was patient, super duper friendly, and never made us feel "rushed". He was on our schedule as opposed to other tours that I been on where you're being herded like cattle. I think he kinda chuckled when my playlist when from some hardcore rap to the spice girls. What can I say? I'm well rounded. I highly recommend having a decent breakfast before setting out on a full day of wine tasting. It definitely helps get you going for the day. We went during peak travel season so it was pretty busy. But the weather was amazing and the views breathtaking. Worth every penny (and they are inexpensive!) We met this lovely couple on the tour who told us to try the winter off-season when it's less crowded so that we can have meet and chat with the winemakers themselves during our tasting. I've never done wine tours in the winter so we'll definitely be back next time and make a nice ski trip out of it as well.

Hit wineries, a distillery and a brewery which was nice. Driver (Darryl) was a very nice guy even if he forgot my name and started calling me 'Steve' halfway through. That was pretty funny for the guys even if it was at my expense. Bus had plenty of room too, and we stayed on schedule without it being overbearing or annoying. Price point was fair given this was a 1/2 day tour with food/alcohol included. Brewery and distillery options couldn't have been better. Wagner brewing makes one of the best examples of hefeweizens I've had anywhere. Really great tap room overlooking the lake as well. Got a cheese plate there which was packed like shit in to-go containers, which belied the really good array of cheese, meat and accoutrements it included. Finger Lakes distilling was shockingly good. Their repertoire of whiskeys, including aged options, different styles (ie: pot stilled, applejack) and experiment stuff (cannoli whiskey) was superb. Had whiskey infused cigars here too which were awesome. I bought a shit ton of stuff from their. Surprisingly, I wasn't as thrilled with the wineries. Zugibe was respectable but paled to others nearby like Thirsty Owl; what threw me off was that the reds were much better than the whites there. Food there was gyros, which was odd but oddly good at least. Belhurst was probably the worst single winery I've ever been to, with the worst wine I've tried. Wine had a soapy taste and was cloyingly sweet. Bartender was snotty, rattled off some canned crap she memorized that was largely irrelevant, and didn't really know anything about wine. Place was largely a freaking gift shop, so no clue why they thought this was a good addition. Would use these guys again as Darryl was a sweetheart, and maybe just direct them a bit more in terms of what we're looking for. I am 100% fine with the emphasis being on beer/liquor, however the groom-to-be was more of a wine person in this case. Very workable either way.

He made the booking process incredibly easy and was fully transparent about pricing and policy (was not surprised with any hidden charges even at the end of the trip). He picked us up right on time at our hotel and offered us bottled waters and some restaurant recommendations around Niagara Falls, which was so considerate! We are out of town so we did not really know the area very well so his recommendations made it SO much easier for us to enjoy our trip without any added hassle. He also graciously made any stops we requested despite it not being on our official itinerary. We were so highly impressed with Enzo's professionalism and character that we asked if he was available the next day but unfortunately he was fully booked (AND FOR GOOD REASON!). My family and I all agreed that this day spent with Enzo in Niagara Falls was the highlight of our trip. Definitely the best limousine and transportation service I have ever used and would highly recommend to anyone! While I chose a few glasses to taste, most of what I took home were the things she handpicked for me. We have previously been Ravines wine club members and frequently enjoy stopping into their tasting room for wine tasting, food and purchasing bottles. We would have happily purchased some wine to take home with us (likely a case or more) but the staff was incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. When I asked, for future visits, when the tastings usually stop, I was told 4:30. Ravines may want to update their website and online presence to reflect this (everything posted says 5pm close) as we were disappointed to be unable to finish our Mother's Day celebration at their tasting room. Due to the completely unfriendly welcome (customers were walking past us with fresh pours, clearly having just been served), we opted to leave without purchasing any wine - a significant loss for their business, not only in sales but also in customer loyalty. No one apologized that we couldn't be served or asked if we wanted to purchase any wine. We won't be back any time soon and will share the experience with friends so as to help them avoid a similarly unpleasant experience. We were once loyal but now disappointed Ravines customers.

Set sail for True Love, a truly enjoyable time!…read more Bottom Line Up Front: We had a wonderful, relaxing, and fun time for a good price. The Good: The history of the John Alden designed schooner is worth reading before you go. We had some more "salty" members of our group that recognized the name of the schooner from the 1956 movie "High Society" starring Bing Crosby, Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra and after that we were on board for a wonderful time. We even were seated in the seats once occupied by Gene and Bing. We purchased our tickets after being approached by Terry who negotiated a decent price with us because he wanted a full boat for the next trip. Captain Bill was an experienced Captain and is well known in the area. He got us underway and was a delightful host regaling us with stories about the "True Love", Seneca Lake and surroundings, as well as, some stories about racing the "True Love" and his crew, Spencer and Marena. Captain Bill even assisted another sailing boat that was in distress and precariously close to the lake edge. The trip was two hours long and on time. The crew served non-alcoholic and adult beverages (some free, some for a price) while underway and also sold some souvenirs (Whisky and glasses). The Bad: There was nothing bad, from start to finish, this was a very enjoyable trip and the crew definitely enjoyed sharing their love of the "Trie Love" with the joyful passengers. The Ugly: Absolutely nothing other than we could not be out for longer. If you find yourself in Watkins Glen, this is definitely an enjoyable to kick back, relax, and let the wind fill your sails. They say a picture is worth 1000 words, so I am going to end my post with a few that we snapped along the way. May you have fair winds, and following lake waters!
