We stayed here on July 15-16 while we were attending the Finger Lakes Wine Festival, as guests of Finger Lakes Wine Country. First off, the location was perfect. Only a 10 minute drive to Watkins Glen and 16 minutes from the festival, walking distance to wineries and breweries, and only 1 hour and 20 minutes from Rochester. Second, this place is gorgeous. The farm house is on eight acres of land and still has many of the historic early 19th century features and charm, but with modern amenities like new bathrooms and WiFi. Each room has so many period details and charming features. Third, it's got everything you need for your stay: firepit with lots of wood and marshmallow sticks, fully stocked kitchen with some dry goods, bathroom with a hairdryer and fluffy towels, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and more! We were also greeted by an amazing selection of local snacks like cheese, meat, juice and more. Finally, it's a cozy place to relax and refresh. The beds (there are 5 of them, along with 3 bathrooms) are super comfy, there's AC to keep you cool, and the front porch gives you a view of the lake. Excited to visit again! read more

It is an 8 acre estate with indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces and lovely views of Seneca Lake. The Farm's location on the East side of the lake puts you in the perfect position to explore in all directions. This beautiful old house has been a family home for over 200 years, now it is available at limited times as a full house rental for larger groups of friends and family on a limited basis. Perfectly located on the Finger Lakes Wine Trail and near Cornell and Ithaca College, think about it first for your next Gathering!
