Dirty bathrooms, no shelf in the showers for your soap. If your camper wasn't dirty when you got here it will be when you leave, filthy dirty muddy roads, nothing paved. We are so pleased with the changes since the Lehman's came back. The landscaping is beautiful, the laundry mat has 4 washers again and if you have a problem, they are right there to help! The staff is so friendly! Great to see so many activities even during the week! If you were disappointed in your stay here before- come try again! It will be worth it! read more

Great place, friendly people. Wish we didn't have to move several times during our stay which was weird because the cg was pretty empty most of the summer besides a few rallies. We overheard people complaining that it was too expensive and I do agree that it is definitely too expensive for nightly campers. We've stayed at several top resorts with great paved sites and beautiful pools and none were over $70-$80 per night. This place should not be over $65 per night for big rig pull thru sites. The sites, nor streets are paved, lots of grass. I witnessed many people who had to back out of the pull thru sites to leave, us included. I would definitely stay again though. We visited Hickory Hill recently with friends and had a very nice camping experience. The campground is huge, with a variety of sites for all types of rigs and tents. I was impressed with the number of pull through sites available throughout the campground. The grounds of the campground are very well maintained and conveys a sense of pride by the owners in creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was efficient and took place in the main camp store and office. The camp store has a nice selection of items for camping and snacking needs. Firewood (will deliver to sites) and ice are available. Both families in our group were very pleased with our sites, which were level for the most part, and had conveniently located hook ups. Our two sites were more spacious than some sites, which seemed to be on top of each other, but we had plenty of room. One concern we did have was the proximity of the fire rings to the next campsite, which were very close to the TV and TT at times. The majority of sites are in open areas but some have partial shade. Wifi worked very well throughout our stay and I was pleased with the water pressure. The bathhouse was very clean! The campground has great amenities and is very family/Kid centered. There is a snack bar and activity room, mini-golf, bounce pillow, two pools (one for adults only-YEAH!), go-carts and many activities and events taking place on themed weekends. I was very pleased with number of things there are to do here for families and would highly recommend this to others. We enjoyed our stay at Hickory Hill and plan to return in the future. The location is great for those wanting to hit the local wineries around Keuka or Seneca lakes. read more

Hiickory Hill is one of our favorite "close enough to Rochester" campgrounds. We started camping there like 12 years ago with a travel trailer and over the last 3 years moved to a seasonal site. The campground is huge and includes sites for tents, travel trailers, 5th Wheels and Class A trailers. No trailer no problem they also have various size cabins that you can just rent and show up with food and clothing. Amenities include a dedicated kiddy pool with various sprinklers along with two full size pools once if which is for adults only which is nice. There's a camp store, community center, arcade and Ice cream shoppe. You'll also find mini-golf and horse shoes along with different planned activities most weekends. The staff is friendly, they offer wifi if you need to connect and post that cool picture on social and have plenty of trails to explore. If you want a taste of the finger lakes you're also just 10 minutes from Hammondsport and Keuka Lake and only 25 from Corning! If you decide to visit Hockory Hill make sure you let the staff know that Skeeter sent you. Life is good Camping! read more

We had been camping out for 4 nights and the kids wanted a cabin. Most places would not rent for a single night, but here they made an exception. Affordable, comfortable, convenient, friendly staff, I highly recommend hickory hill for cabins or tent camping. The hiking trail was cool too! read more

We bring our own camper so I can't speak on the rentals. Great place for kids as they have many options to include splash pad, two pools, mini golf, peddle cars, laser tag and a jump pillow. The weekend had fun activities for the kids that included a DJ for a couple hours and some cute prize give aways. Could have stayed more then 2 days just to fit in all the kid fun. Gave it 4 stars only because I don't love the sites. We were in the wide open so there was no true camping vibe going on. Would prefer a wooded lot where I can hear every word the neighbor is saying. read more

Mostly wanted to post a review because I had trouble finding any photos of the interior of lodge 306. First time "glamping" with the family & we had a great time. The lodge was welcoming and had most of the amenities of home. Only complaint is the location of the lodge. It sits very close to the bathhouse, dumpster and dump station. This caused an unwelcoming smell to come through the windows from time to time. There was a garbage pickup twice while we were there (Sun & Thurs) but by Wednesday garbage was hanging outside the dumpster. The resort itself was great. The children enjoyed all the activities. A few of the activities need to have some maintenance done but overall a great time. Highly recommended! read more

It's not fair because I'm comparing this resort to Jellystone and the two just don't compare. There's many seasonal campers here, it's a very quiet campground. The tent sites are horrendous. People aren't very friendly here. The kids had fun but we went in the middle of the summer and the snack shop was out of stock of 90% of their menu items. That is unacceptable and disappointing. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! We booked a trip in January and made a $200 deposit for a trip in July 2019. We've been staying at many different campgrounds in their rental cabins or trailers for the past 20 years. This campground waited two months and then canceled our reservation stating that they decided to upgrade our cabin and will no longer be honoring the terms of our reservation. We have always taken our dog camping with us and even though this cabin was pet friendly when we booked, they decided to change it. They still allow dogs in some of their other cabins. I offered to give them phone numbers of 7 different campgrounds that we have taken our dog to their rentals. I practically begged them to allow us to keep our reservation as planned since I am short on cash due to the fact that I am undergoing treatment for colon cancer. They were very rude and simply responded by saying "sorry, no exceptions". It was very obvious that they wanted us out of that cabin so that they could re-book and hike the rate, which they did. This short 3-day weekend was the only vacation I was going to be able to give my family in 2019. Since they waited so long to cancel us, all the other places we've checked are full. read more

This is a very nice all around campground. Me and some friends tent camped here for a few nights and it worked out great. We arrived late at night and they had a night person by the office to help show us our plot. He was very nice and helpful. Had an awful experience with this camping spot. Out of all we have been to this has been one of the worst. The schedule changes without notice. We lost our dog the first night we were there we were scheduled for 2 nights we called to stay a 3rd because of the unfortunate circumstances so we could try to find him and they wanted us to move 10 feet to a new spot where they were also making the man move (his 3rd time moving). So we would be moving to his spot and him to ours? How much sense did that make? He agreed to stay and they still wanted us to move because they screwed his reservations up 3 times and he wanted his money back. Of course they didn't want to give his money back so they wanted us and him to move all over? When nobody even had reservations in the spot for 5 more days. We found out an hour later our dog had been hit by a car. Then they still came back up and wanted us to move if we were staying? Really? F#&%^ You! They have a nice pool and jumping pillow for the kids but the playground leaves much to be desired. It's scattered all over. Not anything for adults to do. No adult DJ for music or dance. I've been to better for HALF the price. Don't have any unfortunate circumstances occur. They won't accommodate you! The poor man they made move 3 times?! He kept moving because they wouldn't give his money back even after he had to leave a seasonal they screwed him on! Some people just benefit from money. They weren't getting another 10.00 out of my family!! And I will tell everyone about it! read more

Here's a summary of why I rated 1 star: 1. ALL of the staff are extremely rude and unwelcoming 2. It's way overpriced considering how bad the accommodations are (see below) 3. Everything is filthy! Bathrooms had feces and dirty diapers, toilets plugged, showers were disgusting like they hadn't been cleaned all year 4. Yes, they have 3 pools...if you like to swim in urine and get attitude from the seasonal jerks, and it's a "skim your own" pool (dead bugs that the staff don't like to skim out) 5. Full hook-ups: crappy water pressure, cable tv didn't work good (same thing on every channel for some reason), sewer cap broken and smelled like death and never fixed, Wifi didn't work half the time and front desk staff could not have cared less! 6. Last but not least...I've NEVER seen so many flies, mosquitos, and angry bees in my life!!! 7. RV sites suck...right on top of your neighbor, not level, and no shade trees 8. Farm across the street smells like cow manure every time the wind blows read more
