If you like or love sours/fruit beers or even if you're unsure if what you like, you need to try this place out. Personally, I don't care for sour beers, but Frequentem's have changed me. They do an excellent job on their IPAs, but their fruited beers are freaking ridiculous. Some of their fruited beers remind me of a fruit smoothie. They actually use fruit puree in the beer, resulting in a thicker texture. I could easily drink it with brunch, at lunch, with dinner, floating in the pool, lounging at the beach or at the end of my day. The service here is amazing. You can tell that they take pride in their establishment. The menu is small, but delicious. We are in love with the pretzel sticks and beer cheese. They get bread from Amazing Grains Home (amazinggrainsbreadco.com). Frequentem v. /fre-KWEN-tum/ To Gather with Good Vibes. This place is on point and definitely passes the vibe check. Its modern, clean, and they are always play wonderful music. You can chill inside or take your conversation outside to their patio. On our way back from running a cross country race, we decided we "needed" some beer to rehydrate. The tasting room has a very modern look with a big bar and some tables to enjoy their beers. My friends and I came here one evening while visiting Canandaigua. We sat inside but the outdoor area look nice and seemed like a fun place to hang out at! When we got there, we ordered at the front and then sat at the bar. I enjoy beer but not really a fan of IPA's, which is what they mostly had. I tried one of their sours, which again is not my go to usually, but I liked it! The service was really good and we had asked about the cream ale and the bartender let us try it! Really enjoyed this brewery, stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered our flights right away ( surprised there was no line) I went with a flight of IPA's. They seemed to all have numbers, like NRIPA 3,14 108.... Etc. They were all very tasty and smooth. Since it was such a beautiful day we sat outside on their fenced in patio area. A couple friends and I went on Friday night for some drinks. I got a flight and we all split the Bee Sting pizza. very tasty all around. The pizza was more of a personal size, so if you're hungry order one for yourself. I ended up getting a 4 pack of the #55 NEIPA to go and it tasted just as good as on tap. So I went here the other day not really knowing what to expect. Very impressed not only with the atmosphere, which was relaxing and clean, but also the beers they offer. The bartender was super nice and attentive. The Sours they have on tap are not only the best sours I've ever tasted; but also the standard for what I expect from here on out. They are amazing! So out of all the breweries that we tried on our 2 night 3 day getaway in the Fingerlakes this was my favorite. The fruit beer is so refreshing and delicious! I purchased a couple of 4 packs to take home with me to Jersey. Oh and grab a bag of the lemon chiffon popcorn you won't regret it! My only complaint is that I can't order it online and enjoy more of it, please start selling them online!! I am literally savoring my fruit beer and popcorn as long as I can. read more

Truly my favorite brewery in the area. Up front, I'm not a beer person. Cocktails always, usually gin. However, I was convinced to try Frequentem, and I was not disappointed. I think pretty much anyone would find something they like here, from the hoppiest IPA to the fruitiest sour. 10/10 would recommend starting with a flight. My personal favorites were the Just Fruit options. Tasted like a smoothie. I could consume a dangerous amount of those. Everyone behind the bar was friendly, the place was spotlessly clean, and the vibe is great. This is a fantastic addition to downtown Canandaigua. Already itching to go back. We didn't get to try any of the food options, but that's definitely on my must do list for next time. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Love love their sour beers!! I am a sour beer only person as far as beers go and these beers were super juicy. I was a really big fan of the natural fruit strawberry and the just fruit line. The beers definitely lean more fruity than sour where sometimes it tastes just like a juice. The flights are super reasonable and you can also snack on pizza that comes out piping hot!
