On our way back from running a cross country race, we decided we "needed" some beer to rehydrate. The tasting room has a very modern look with a big bar and some tables to enjoy their beers. I saw some interesting beers on their menu. I had a small sampler of their #24 NEIPA and brought home a 4 pack of #39 NEIPA. Both very nice beers. read more

Really enjoyed this brewery, stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered our flights right away ( surprised there was no line) I went with a flight of IPA's. They seemed to all have numbers, like NRIPA 3,14 108.... Etc. They were all very tasty and smooth. Since it was such a beautiful day we sat outside on their fenced in patio area. Very comfortable and roomy. There are also a lot of indoor, Bristol tables available. Great vibe here! read more

My friends and I came here one evening while visiting Canandaigua. We sat inside but the outdoor area look nice and seemed like a fun place to hang out at! When we got there, we ordered at the front and then sat at the bar. I enjoy beer but not really a fan of IPA's, which is what they mostly had. I tried one of their sours, which again is not my go to usually, but I liked it! The service was really good and we had asked about the cream ale and the bartender let us try it! A couple friends and I went on Friday night for some drinks. I got a flight and we all split the Bee Sting pizza. very tasty all around. The pizza was more of a personal size, so if you're hungry order one for yourself. I ended up getting a 4 pack of the #55 NEIPA to go and it tasted just as good as on tap. The atmosphere is classy yet down to earth. Great vibes. Will definitely be back when I'm back in the area! read more

So I went here the other day not really knowing what to expect. Very impressed not only with the atmosphere, which was relaxing and clean, but also the beers they offer. The bartender was super nice and attentive. The Sours they have on tap are not only the best sours I've ever tasted; but also the standard for what I expect from here on out. They are amazing! The stout I had was also very good and full bodied. But I must emphasize again that the sours here are the best in the country and should be considered for an award! read more

Food - 4 (I wish there was more or have menus to support other businesses) Price - 5 Service - 5 Atmosphere - 4 Wow! If you like or love sours/fruit beers or even if you're unsure if what you like, you need to try this place out. Personally, I don't care for sour beers, but Frequentem's have changed me. They do an excellent job on their IPAs, but their fruited beers are freaking ridiculous. Some of their fruited beers remind me of a fruit smoothie. They actually use fruit puree in the beer, resulting in a thicker texture. I could easily drink it with brunch, at lunch, with dinner, floating in the pool, lounging at the beach or at the end of my day. The service here is amazing. You can tell that they take pride in their establishment. The menu is small, but delicious. We are in love with the pretzel sticks and beer cheese. They get bread from Amazing Grains Home (amazinggrainsbreadco.com). Frequentem v. /fre-KWEN-tum/ To Gather with Good Vibes. This place is on point and definitely passes the vibe check. Its modern, clean, and they are always play wonderful music. You can chill inside or take your conversation outside to their patio. I've been here many times but have not done a Yelp review until now. I really like their seating area and vibe. They don't have food here but all beers on tap are made by them and they do have some four packs to go. I especially like the sours they are fruity and jammy. I am not a big Beer person, but this drink, OMG! The juice was so delicious! I picked raspberry drink and I couldn't even taste beer at all! I'm pretty impressed and two thumb ups for sure! I love the setting in the backyard. It is more hippie style but very relaxing! I love it! I definitely come back for the drink and their pizza was so good too! Extremely impressed with this brewery. Came here from the recommendation of some bartenders from another brewery, and they did not disappoint. Every beer we tried truly stood out. I was a big fan of their NEIPAs. My wife tried some of their sours which she thoroughly enjoyed, and I enjoyed much more than I usually enjoy sours. This is a brewery that we would make a point of returning to, even if it was a little out of the way. read more

So out of all the breweries that we tried on our 2 night 3 day getaway in the Fingerlakes this was my favorite. The fruit beer is so refreshing and delicious! I purchased a couple of 4 packs to take home with me to Jersey. Oh and grab a bag of the lemon chiffon popcorn you won't regret it! My only complaint is that I can't order it online and enjoy more of it, please start selling them online!! I am literally savoring my fruit beer and popcorn as long as I can. read more

Truly my favorite brewery in the area. Up front, I'm not a beer person. Cocktails always, usually gin. However, I was convinced to try Frequentem, and I was not disappointed. I think pretty much anyone would find something they like here, from the hoppiest IPA to the fruitiest sour. 10/10 would recommend starting with a flight. My personal favorites were the Just Fruit options. Tasted like a smoothie. I could consume a dangerous amount of those. Everyone behind the bar was friendly, the place was spotlessly clean, and the vibe is great. This is a fantastic addition to downtown Canandaigua. Already itching to go back. We didn't get to try any of the food options, but that's definitely on my must do list for next time. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Patio seems to be dog friendly (there were people with dogs out there, assume it is allowed, but not certain). read more

Love love their sour beers!! I am a sour beer only person as far as beers go and these beers were super juicy. I was a really big fan of the natural fruit strawberry and the just fruit line. The beers definitely lean more fruity than sour where sometimes it tastes just like a juice. The flights are super reasonable and you can also snack on pizza that comes out piping hot! As a sour lover, definitely the best spot for beer in canandaigua! read more

Great beers. I especially recommend visiting this brewery if you like NE IPA. My girlfriend loved their Just Fruit beers. Atmosphere is clean and relaxed and there's a nice outdoor patio area with heaters. I'm excited to stop by again and pick up some to go 4 packs! read more

Very popular brewery in town. Frequentem has a great vibe where you always feel welcome. Friendly staff and very nicely decorated. Beer is good too! I go to Frequentem often for a drink or two and always love trying something new. I haven't had something I dislike. The food is very good as well (highly recommend the balsamic pizza). Very glad this establishment is now in Canandaigua - support local! read more

They must've expected a big crowd because they had parking attendants and they charge $10 but they give you a token for five dollars off a drink. They have a decent sized stage and very good sound system. There's a big area in front that is for dancers, but with the small crowd we had that was only partially filled. They have some picnic tables available and also a covered area that was for weed growers that had long picnic tables as well. We brought our own folding chairs and sat in them for a while. They have good drink choices there and the food wasn't so bad either. They have barbecue food and fried food. And they make all their sauces on site. Check out my pics of the menus. I split the chicken fingers and fries with my friend. For the band's second set, we went up to the VIP area upstairs which they didn't charge for that night . Standing up there, you got a great view of the sunset and of the band and the whole surrounding area. As I said, the sound was very good and the vibe was great. The owners along with the other staff are pleasant and welcoming. The indoor seating is limited. They have outdoor seating on the deck when the weather is nice enough. Edit: the manager was very empathetic and rectified the situation once i spoke with her. i think maybe they just had an off night.
