The smoked porter (which I usually like) was malty and smoky with a nice bite up front, but ended up tasting like an ashtray. The Citra Cream Ale was forgettable. As the bartender put it, "It's a game we like to play." On tap, they had a solid lineup: 1. Hector Logger - A traditional lager (4.9% ABV) 2. Goatmaster Kölsch - A crisp Kölsch (5.1% ABV), which I tried and really enjoyed 3. RedBeard - A Red Ale (5% ABV), a reliable go-to beer 4. Cream Ale - A bit different at 6.7% ABV, more robust than the typical lower-ABV versions 5. Golden Crush - A hazy IPA (5.1% ABV) that had nice fruit-forward notes, but not overpowering 6. X IPA - An Imperial IPA (7.8% ABV) Mosaic! Mosaic! - A Pale Ale (5.2% ABV) that followed the traditional pale ale profile and was very enjoyable 7. Goatmeal Stout - An Oatmeal Stout (8.1% ABV) Then came the blends--something I hadn't seen much of before. The only one I tried was 1. Goat Juice, a 50/50 mix of Hazy IPA and Kölsch (5.1% ABV). It was bursting with amazing flavors, the best of both worlds. Some of their other blends included: 2. Red X - A mix of Red Ale and Imperial IPA 3. Goatgasm - A Kölsch and IPA blend 4. Lock 32 serves a nice variety of craft beer from local breweries which can be enjoyed while sitting in or near the bar area or outside on the patio, if you order from their outside pouring station. They do not allow beer ordered inside to be taken outside as they serve in beer glass while outside they use plastic cups. I received good service on my visit. Their beer listing on the menu had the variety that I was looking for to get a flight. I enjoy beer flights (wherever available as long as the place has a good variety of beers). If you look at one of my photos of 'The Brews' (menu) for reference, I ordered their #5 (Yankee Leaper), #6 (Berm Side), #7 (Leap 'n Lime), and #9 (No Wake). They were all good in taste and to my liking. My most favorites were the Yankee Leaper and No Wake. The beer flight was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was nice. People were chill and friendly. They had some snacks available for purchase but I think you could bring some food from outside to enjoy with your beer (I saw someone with a box of pizza). I would highly recommend checking out Lock 32 if you happen to be in Erie Canal/ Penfield area. It's enjoyable and relaxing to be there while soaking in nice views (especially during warm weather months).
