The bartender was awesome, but honestly that was the only high point that earned them 2 stars. I believe the staff truly makes the business, unfortunately they are the face of a garbage product. Every single beer I tried was bad. Every. Single. One. The only one that was passable was a blend of 2 different ones that the bartender suggested. The "A Lick and a Promise" Caramel Cream Ale was watery and weak with no distinct flavor and a bit of a vinegary aftertaste. The smoked porter (which I usually like) was malty and smoky with a nice bite up front, but ended up tasting like an ashtray. The Citra Cream Ale was forgettable. I say this because I honestly remember nothing about it. Overall, I was unimpressed and will not be returning.

It was cooked and seasoned well and I really liked their yogurt feta. The cucumber provided a refreshing crunch to the burger. I was very tempted to order another. Service was quick and friendly. The location seems pretty cool. It looked like they had a lot of cornhole sets so I can imagine it gets pretty busy when the weather's nice. If I lived around the area I would come back.

Lock 32 serves a nice variety of craft beer from local breweries which can be enjoyed while sitting in or near the bar area or outside on the patio, if you order from their outside pouring station. They do not allow beer ordered inside to be taken outside as they serve in beer glass while outside they use plastic cups. I received good service on my visit. Their beer listing on the menu had the variety that I was looking for to get a flight. I enjoy beer flights (wherever available as long as the place has a good variety of beers). If you look at one of my photos of 'The Brews' (menu) for reference, I ordered their #5 (Yankee Leaper), #6 (Berm Side), #7 (Leap 'n Lime), and #9 (No Wake). They were all good in taste and to my liking. My most favorites were the Yankee Leaper and No Wake. The beer flight was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was nice. People were chill and friendly. They had some snacks available for purchase but I think you could bring some food from outside to enjoy with your beer (I saw someone with a box of pizza). I would highly recommend checking out Lock 32 if you happen to be in Erie Canal/ Penfield area. It's enjoyable and relaxing to be there while soaking in nice views (especially during warm weather months).

First time it was amazing, second time, it was inedible. Food comes out as it's finished. So be prepared for staggered dining. Appetizers, may not come out first, they arrive whenever they're ready. Service: Drinks are ordered at the bar, or via a QR code at the table. Food is ordered at the bar but they bring it to you. Yes, it can be confusing. Service is also hit or miss. We've been to DeWolf several times. Sometimes service is great, sometimes it's terrible. More often than not, we are simply 'forgotten' by employees. During one visit we had a question about our order. We asked an employee/server who acknowledged the question, then turned around, walked away...and ...that was it no other response. We had to find another employee. :/ It's a really weird vibe. Service can be great on a busy day and not great on a day when the place is pretty empty. All in all, the beer is pretty good, the atmosphere is getting there (it's a new build-out, it'll take time), both the food and service are inconsistent. We want this business to succeed, but they have some growing pains to overcome in the meantime.
