    a glass of beer

Stopped in on a sunny Sunday. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Although it was sunny, we had lakeside views and vibes - they have a pumpkin beer on tap 'Headless Norseman'. It was delicious! First time to Twisted Rail this summer and it was a great stop.

Our first time visiting after a five hour drive and we were not disappointed. Our "brewmaster" was friendly and helpful. All the beers were delicious in their own ways and the sandwiches were amazing. Prices were good and I'd highly recommend!

The food was meh. The beef on Weck was lacking beef and the trainwreck fries came out pretty soggy. The beers are good though. Come to drink but eat somewhere else.

Visited the Geneva location a few years ago and wasn't that impressed, it was during "COVID" times so I gave this location a try while visiting from out of town. Great location on the water, over priced beer and (mediocre) food. Could use a bit of a refresh with a fancy new hotel next door.

We enjoy twisted tail, especially in the summer when you can sit lakeside and have good beer. Never disappointed in what's on tap, and love that they have substantive food options. The flatbreads are a great choice and more filling than you'd expect. The upstairs space is a good option to be away from folks during these socially distanced times, though maybe not dusted as often as needed. Also, everyone has always been very nice, if not overly attentive.

Great views of Canandaguia Lake. Tasty beer selection. Random note- the pretzel cheese sauce is nasty.

Best BBQ in town. Great choice of beers. The spot to go to before heading to CMAC.

I find it hard to think that natives of the FLX are beer snobs, but to read the reviews, so much might indicate so.

Rachel our server was great at getting the girls real coloring books and a big assortment of crayons. Somebody is really thinking about the little kids. Huge selection of New York beers, wines, and ciders. I tasted the girl's cheese pizza. This is not your average cheese pizza. I truly wish I had taken the time to analyze the complexity of the sauce, because I would love to make something half as nice. Omah (the grandmother, my wife) had fried ravioli. The shells were nice, golden and crunchy. But the cheese filling was some magical mixture of mozz and ricotta that dazzled my tongue. I had the NY Burger. Background: I am not a New Yorker. I was raised in the deep South, and up to now had questioned the value of anything "New York." (Excepting my grandchildren and their mom, of course.) I expect pretentious and parochial, over-priced and lacking value. The burger I had at New York Kitchen was the best I've ever had. I'm 72. I'm a meat eater. I've eaten thousands and thousands of burgers. Hands down this was the best, ever. The meat itself was super tasty and juicy, perfectly cooked to my specification. The brioche roll was perfect. The Bibb lettuce and tomato perfect, too. The sauce? Magic and mystifying. I didn't expect a lot going in to the restaurant, because the architecture is striking. (In my experience, focus on environment takes focus off the food. New York Kitchen breaks all of my rules. I am so happy to have been there. Thanks to my son and his family!

The ambience and gardens outside were also wonderful and wish we came a bit earlier to enjoy the lake views. Check-in is easy and classroom is right when you come in. The stations were well laid out with everything you needed. Our Chef Eli was very entertaining and we learnt some new knife cutting skills. The menu for us was German Oktoberfest themed with pork schnitzel, homemade spaetzle, and a harvest sauté vegetables. We throughly enjoyed the experience and class also came with 2 drinks and the meal you cooked together to enjoy. It was nice to support this wonderful 501c3 organization but do think the tickets are quite pricey for what you get.

They have dock access conveniently located right next to the Canandaigua boat ramp. So we were able to pull right in and get a table. For lunch I had the blackened Mahi Mahi Street tacos that were excellent, my partner had the chicken fingers which were excellent quality. You can tell they use fresh oil and make them in house.
