I was here a few days ago for a free sample of beer. The few kinds that I tried, I enjoyed. The staff were really nice. This place had a cooler of to-go beers that you could purchase. I bought a four-pack for my boyfriend and a four-pack for myself. I bought some chocolate chip cookies for my boyfriend's dad. Pictured in the photo, was a beer that I purchased for myself that was my favorite one that I tried. It was their Sweet Pot Luck which was their peanut butter stout. My boyfriend's favorite was their Crooked Soul Hazy IPA. This place had a cool vibe. Definitely check it out, if you're in the Canandaigua area. read more

What a super fun friendly brewery. So many locals that just welcomed us in on a busy night here. This was one of a few stops during a much needed girls beer tour. We fell in love with this cozy atmosphere. We got a table in the corner right by the bar and immediately order lots of drinks. I went with a flight: Captain suburbia, cream ale 4.8 5x5 , Vienna larger 5.5 California breakdown , west coast IPA 6.7 Ravenous soul , hazy IPA 6.0 All were delicious but their breakdown was spectacular They have some appetizers available, flat bread pizza, pretzel sticks, veggies and hummus. We came with a group of ten. Mixture of parents and our adult children, celebrating a 58th bday. We were in the tent where the band was (who was amazing- The Real News). One of the bartenders came busting through the crowd and made a spectacle of proofing our kids in front of everyone with a "gotcha" attitude. Everyone was well over 21 and had ID. My son's girlfriend was visiting from another state and forgot her ID. She had a pic of it on her phone. My son very respectfully spoke up and said "she's my girlfriend and her mom sent her a pic of her ID." She literally ripped the cider out of her hand and said "it's my ass on the line." No one argued with her. We totally understood if they couldn't accept a pic of the ID but it's entirely how you handle things and this was terrible. She embarrassed her in front of everyone and was so demonstrative. She took pleasure in doing what she did. If it weren't for the fact that the band was so good we would've left right then. I'll never be back. Show some decency. You served her at the bar in the first place! Only to come running out afterwards. Shame on you. read more

This place is cute. The staff are very friendly and attentive, it's very relaxed and easy going. The food options aren't much but it's good nonetheless. They have some appetizers like cookies, chips, salsa, veggies and hummus, and pretzel sticks. They also have flat bread pizzas which are pretty good for what they are. I'd say without a doubt: go here and enjoy the good environment. I'd recommend to anyone. read more

Has a good vibe once you walk in. Not too many tables inside but had a lot of outdoor tables with the heat lamps. I tried a flight and liked every beer i tried. The lager was my favorite. There was also one called catch me if you can, i think it was a cider? It was really good too. But my boyfriend tried the Nada ipa and it was sooooo good! I do not like hoppy so i stay away from ipa's. But i would totally order that myself. Had hot pretzel sticks for the whole mandatory food thing. They were actually really good and perfect with the beers. Friendly staff and appreciated the hand sanitizer on every table. Would recommend stopping by. Just don't park in the big empty gravel lot across the street where you think you would be able too. The guy who owns that lot apparently tows (you would think hed invest in a big non-parking private property sign). Right behind that gravel lot is an actual parking lot you can park in and walk thru that gravel lot to peacemaker brewery. Just a helpful tip before you get inside and have to go move your car. We had to and watched like 3 others after us do the same thing :) read more

They have amazing cocktails and I so so love it! They did a great job with making me a Moscow mule. It was a perfect drink! I definitely would go back to this place in the future! We had a great time at Peacemaker Brewing. We were surprised that they didn't have their own beer but were quickly impressed with their list of craft beers and ciders. They also had outdoor heaters in later October (which was awesome for social distancing!) and the bartenders were great. read more

This was a brewery that I had to stop at on our way out of the Finger lakes and boy did I save the best for last! Upon arrival Tim was absolutely so friendly and knowledgeable about what they had to offer. Tim actually felt like a friend that we knew for years! Our favorite was the Persephone and the peanut butter and chocolate stout was excellent! Can't wait to come back to officially try the pineapple wheat beer that the master brew maker was making in the back! It smelled absolutely delicious and tasted like it was ready to be sold! We were intending to go to the Beehive but popped in here because it was less crowded and I'm glad we did! We sat down and looked at the beer menu and the owner struck up a conversation, explained each and let us sample. I had their peach ale which was not too sweet but very peachy and smooth to drink. My boyfriend had their 3 bullets which he said wasn't too hoppy and smooth to drink. Our buddy got the coffee stout and said it tasted like a Guinness with a hint of coffee. The owner, Todd, asked if we were from the area and told us his story as well. We enjoyed chatting and will support his business for that reason. And maybe also because he's brewing a pumpkin beer so you know where I will be October 1!! Each beer was $6. The venue is small but super cute and rustic. We had an amazing close to the night at Peacemaker Brewing Company! We heard the live music from Rio Tomatlan and wandered over with our 15 month old daughter (don't judge, we were on vacation and hoofing it :)) and some friends and could not have been happier we did. The staff was awesome, the people there awesome and our daughter ran around and danced like no tomorrow! Awesomely chill venue and everyone there was uncommonly nice and cool!!! I think our daughter stole the show though haha. Will def be when we visit again! read more

I'm giving them 5 stars for one reason: ICE. I don't drink anymore. So why am I writing a review of a brewery? Well, I like to see live music, which Peacemaker has. I like to hang with friends who enjoy craft brews. I can't tell you how many craft breweries I've gone to and asked for a glass of water, only to get a glass of room temperature tap water served with a side of disdain because I'm not trying their latest creation. Not here. They're happy to give you a nice tall glass of ice water. So what's the big deal about that? It means that they're trying to make everyone feel welcomed, even if they're not drinking the beer. They recognize that I'm probably going to order some food, and continue to come back for the music and atmosphere, and most likely bring other friends with me who will drink the beer. Bottom line: yeah, they have craft beer which may or may not be good. I don't know because I don't drink it. The important thing for me is that it's a very cool place to hang and listen to music with great customer service. I recommend giving them a try. read more

I was trying to plan a family winery/brewery tour, and wanted to stop at this brewery. When I called to inquire about information/make a reservation, the man I spoke to was judgemental right off the bat. He said he wasn't interested in having us stop there since it was going to be the last place on our tour. He just assumed we were going to be drunk yet he didn't even know me. I even told him half my family drank wine and half drank beer, so it wasn't like people would have been drinking all day at every stop. This is probably the 5th family wine tour I have planned with my family, and I've never had someone be so rude and judgemental and give such bad customer service before I even walked in the door. I've also never had a company say they don't want my business whether they were our first stop or our last. I will never go to this place and I am going to spread the word to others as well so they avoid wasting their time and money at such a judgmental and rude establishment. read more

This place was great. Tried the stout and the pale ale both were good solid representatives of their style. The place was a good size, small enough to feel like a small bar not one of those huge breweries so it feels like a warehouse. The staff was great, sat and bs'd beer and life with us for quite a while without ignoring other patrons. Only complaint is the shoddy wrapping job on my logo pint glass :) PS last part is a joke for the bartenders. read more

The beers and atmosphere, too me, are top notch. It's small and the brewers/family are behind the bar. Beer is made on site. Local musicians play there often. All beers are named after songs of the group Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers; hence the name! In fact, the band will be playing at Rio Tomatlan on July 22, 2017 where beers from Peacemaker, wines from the finger lakes and Mexican food from Rio will be featured. Go to the website for ticket info or head to the brewery to get them. They make new beers frequently but love the standards: Fonder and Blonder, Tuscon and Americano irish Red. Their new "I can drink water-melon" is excellent, according to those who like fruit-style beers. Not my beer genre but it's worth checking out. read more

We were glad to find another brewer in our local area. Unfortunately this made our second time since they opened and the 4 of us were not impressed. The first time we tried 2 flights of samplers to be able to taste all 7 beers on tap. Of the 7 beers we found only 2 that we could drink, we left the other 5 samples of beer partial drank from sampling, We were able to finish off the Contraband IPA which was a weak tasting IPA (bland)with a hint of chlorine taste, the Harvest Ale was okay, Pumpkin Porter tasted like it had a chlorine taste to it, Wake-up Coffee Stout tasted like the coffee was burnt in the kettle (Heating process) recommend dumping it as it is not drinkable, Black Soul Nitro was plain tasting. Our second trip we thought they had some new beers on tap, but no, so we decided to try one flight with beers we like at other breweries again same results. Will try once more when they get rid of what they are serving now as like with most new breweries they go through growing pains if they do not have a very experienced brew master. read more
