Went to Reinvention for a couple of drinks a couple of hours before closing. I'm not usually a beer person, but they have a couple of ciders on the menu if you, like me, prefer an alternative. I wish I had written down the cider that they were pouring when I went, it was excellent!! Service was great. It was very quiet when I went, so my date and I were easily able to have a conversation even with the tv on at the bar. Everything was very clean. We ended up staying a little past closing, the bartender let us hang out while she was closing up. Really appreciated that since it let us finish our last drink without rushing. Overall - this is an easy place to spend a few hours. There's plenty of seating. I'd certainly be interested to see the atmosphere at a slightly busier time, maybe one of the nights they have live music. J noticed a sign on our way out that mentioned music the night before, bummed we missed it. read more

We really liked this friendly little nanobrewery. Dog friendly both inside and out. Selection of Board Games to choose from and occasional visits from food trucks. Samplers are served in a 6-cup muffin tin, 5 beer samples ($9.50) and the 6th is filled with mini pretzels to fulfill food requirement. Good quality beers. Guest Hard Ciders and Finger Lakes wines are also available. Very relaxing place to hang out. read more

It was simply fortuitous that we were driving past Reinvention at 3:55pm one afternoon and decided to stop. They opened that day at 4pm, the person working let us in early and and we were already tasting the brews in our flight at 4pm! Silly, I know but we loved the way the five x 5 oz pours in the flight were served in a 6 cup muffin pan, with the sixth cup holding pretzels! The beers were tasty and fresh. Being a beer snob I could go on and on about the beer tasting, but I will keep it simple, and say, they were all very very good. Most interesting to me was that they sold cookies made with their spent grains. (the grains left after brewing. The grains are a wonder of nutrition that are often tossed into land fills or fed to live stock) The spent grains are high in protein, high in fiber and almost no carbs. (Search the web, find lots of articles, research and some recipes.) I am grateful they are working with a local baker to make these cookies, and the cookies were as fantastic as the beer! read more

My husband and I just bought a house down the road and quickly noticed a brewery within walking distance. We started going on a somewhat regular basis and the workers started to remember us quite quickly. Since then, it's become a place we feel so welcomed at and very much enjoy spending our time there. The fact that they're dog friendly is a huge bonus! Our dog feels right at home there. First timer here, I was not disappointed! I was amazed to see that a brewery took over a former flower shop and ice cream stand that had been vacant for years, and honestly made great use of the space! The interior is lined with dark woods offset by wrought iron, and their quite literal recycling of item into up cycled items is pretty amazing. Wrenches for tap handles? Yup! Muffin tins for flights? Yup! This is a family owned operation, with a plethora of beers for a smaller brewery, with lots of willing to take risks and venture into different styles! 10 of their own beers, ranging from their N.Y. Helles to their Extra Brut IPA, to a stout (An Abundance Of Stout). Mix in their offerings of a brown ale, a NEIPA, a white stout (Misperception) and even an English Bitter, their rounding a nice range! Their Middle Finger Lakes IPA is their canned offering, available at many retail outlets, and a solid offering. Pro tip - don't drink it after their NEIPA (Irrational Optimism) as you wont be able to taste it! They serve pretzels with fights, have popcorn popping, and also offer some small plates (charcuterie) and also a selection of NY wines! read more

I stopped here after finding them on the nys beer trail app. I met the owner of the bar who was super nice and friendly. She pointed out her husband and kids who were playing games at a table. They have multiple varieties of beer on tap from a lager, this seasons Octoberfest (awesome it wasn't very spicy) to sour berry. My favorite was probably the Manchester English ale. They provide a flight of beer (5-5ozs) for $9.00. They include some pretzels and have fresh popcorn for free and you can buy some snack bag chips for .50 and I saw big cookies I think for .99. It was nice to see some sort of food as I was on an emptying stomach and drinking.. so better safe! They have plenty of seats at the bar, probably seating for 15 at tables inside and at least 6 tables outside. Highly recommend.. I wish the family good fortune with their new venture read more

They just had their grand opening last weekend and I can tell they will be a great success! Sometimes breweries can give off an overly rustic feel, but this place is open and airy and I love the Edison light fixtures that fit in perfectly with the "reinvention" theme. The owners are so cute and friendly and are happy to be opening for business in the finger lakes region, where they first met. My fellow beer enthusiast enjoyed the Red IPA, while I had the "Root of Misperception," and I loved the rich, coffee/cacao flavor that was balanced with a light color and "session" qualities. Their flights are served in muffin tins, which pay homage to one of the owners Home Economic teacher roots (adorable). Big windows face the street and make this a great place to people watch while sipping on a pint. read more

My wife and I stopped in on an early Friday. I would love to give this brewery 5 stars but the beer needs some improvement. I had a pint of Oktoberfest (very tasty) and my wife had a flight of 5 beers. There wasn't one beer from my wife's flight that I would want to order a pint of. I know that they have only been open for a few months so we will stop back in the near future to see if there is any change. The brewer's wife/co-owner was behind the bar. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable. The brewery is in a great location. Two musicians were setting up to play. There was a food truck in the parking lot. This is by far one of the best breweries I've ever visited! Great atmosphere, hand crafted bar and chairs, visibility into the brew area, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the owners George and Kristy are just fantastic. I took advantage of several of the flights and by far my favorite was the Middle Finger Lakes IPA, which I ended up buying a Growler of to take home. George is an engineer by trade and after winning several awards for his beer (2009 Grand Prize Winner which was having Empire Brewing Co. brew his "By George Pale Ale" as a seven-barrel commercial batch!) he and Kristy finally decided to open a brewery. Great decision for him...and the Finger Lakes area! A must stop for a late week beer or bachelor party! read more

First time visit this past Saturday. Drove their from Buffalo, NY. The prices were okay, 5 beers/ciders for $9., with some free pretzels. The staff was friendly. The cider was amazing, my girlfriend even took some home with her. My only issue was the beer had little to no flavor wasn't exceptional, I was expecting better quality, maybe it was the time of the year. Willing to go back and give them another try. read more
