    Beer Flight

Great flights and great beer! This is a great place to check out and grab some drinks! They have free popcorn and some board games to play while you hang out. Good food good vibes good times!

This was my first time to this microbrewery and it was on my Rochester to-do list for a long time. We tried the Hawaiian ice tea seltzer and the Chocolate Cherry Stout. The Hawaiian ice tea seltzer tasted great, not very sweet. I would give it a 4/5. The Chocolate Cherry Stout was a little underwhelming, way too sweet and somewhat off-putting. I would give it 1.5/5. They have limited seating but we didn't have any trouble getting a table on a cold Saturday night. Also, the major drawback was the lack of any kind of food or snacks. Considering that they are open till 10 pm but no food/snacks of any sort was kinda annoying. Hopefully that changes.

Pretty good beer with a nice relaxed atmosphere. They don't do flights, but they do tasting pours, so you can get as many as you want. I really liked the sour cherry beer and the French toast stout was pretty good too. I would definitely come here again for a drink. Not a ton of indoor seating, but a few tables outside too.

Great place to enjoy a beer with friends & family. Good selection of beer, friendly service, and quaint tasting room. Located in the heart of Rochester NY, parking on street. Cheers to good beer

Great small brewery on Park Ave. Gorgeous area. Building is cool, and well done inside. Looking forward to when they get their patio seating and music configured. Personally didn't like the selections of beer this time, but have been here in the past where I enjoyed all the beers on tap. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Parking is a challenge. Just have to know the area to get a spot on the side streets. Owners are always friendly to speak to, and learn about their brewing process.

Great beer with a flagship IPA, and a Tug Lite Lager, 2-3 sours on tap among other styles. 10 taps in all, a bunch of cans for items on tap or no longer get on tap. A limited selection of cider, mixed drinks, and wine.

Front of the building. Soon to be a patio area.

On a nice kind of warm May night, the wife and I stopped in to the new Iron Tug Brewing location on Park Avenue. What an awesome spot! I live in Greece near their old location but believe me - being on Park Avenue kicks butt over being on Ridge Road. There are three or four tables outside on the sidewalk so we managed to get one and I ordered a New England IPA and an Imperial Stout for the wife. Everyone was friendly - from the customers to the bartenders. One of the owners told us that they are going to take out the two gardens in the front of the building and put in some more patio space for more tables. They can't have enough patio space on a nice day on Park Avenue! Their beer is great - the location is superb - this is a great place to go! Go check it out while you can still get a table!

Great brews here! It is kind of the place where you can come and just relax and have great brews! This location seems like a historic building, like an old prison building. I will definitely be back!

Had their Festbier and Black Current Mint Sour. I was really impressed with the festbier, it was so smooth and flavorful; a great medium bodied beer. The black current mint sour was also flavorful, I just wasn't a fan of the mint aspect. Would definitely go back and try their other sours. Definitely a new go to spot since it's so close and fantastic! Had several 4 tops outside, lots of indoor seating and the beertender was great!

Randomly decided to stop here while walking on Park. Got a tasting of three of their beers and I wish I remembered which ones I tried because they were all pretty good. One thing I wish they would of done was write down somewhere the names of the beers we got for tasting since it was hard to remember which ones we were trying. I also wished they had a choice to do a beer flight instead of different prices for tastings.

Ample space both upstairs and downstairs. + 2 of the 4 sours I had were decent. + Great for kiddos as they have an outdoor space that's family and dog friendly. It was very busy the day we went with a fun atmosphere outside. + Historic venue with a nice restoration for the brewery. The less great: + The setup means long waits. Having to wait in line for beers in a completely packed brewery with two bartenders is not a way to run a business. They need to consider a new strategy for ensuring they can accommodate the volume they are currently doing. + Had a bite of someone's burger and found it more or less inedible. + My parents had attempted to organize a large family gathering on the day we were there and while I wasn't involved in the planning, there seemed to be missteps and miscommunications along the way that weren't met with much empathy or customer service in mind. Too many great breweries in Rochester to waste time on spots that aren't going to ensure guest satisfaction. Great location though! This place is so, so busy it's obvious the east side isn't brewery saturated (somehow) quite yet.

The Detroit style pizza is phenomenal! Perfect crispy crust. I was there on a Friday but came back the next day to try the tomato pie as it was sold out on Friday. It was delicious! Think focaccia with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese. So tasty! But what is brilliant is that of four pizzas, one rotates each week and changes. I had one of the rotating pizzas: pepperoni, banana peppers, garlic sauce, and honey. It bears repeating, wow! So great! The beers? There's something for everyone! So many hazy/New England IPAs and sours. Great seltzers too! The space is great with room for private parties. Such friendly staff. I hope to come back again before leaving!

I've actually been a customer for years - from meeting friends for an afternoon cider, to attending group work events, to listening to local bands, to attending costume contests during Halloween. I always feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported as a consumer, despite my lack of enthusiasm for the latest IPA and/or the fact that I am often the DD (designated driver) in need of a non-alcoholic beverage.
