Great little brewery in the heart of Pittsford NY my only wish would be it was larger. Friendly greeting, great beer & service. Love the classy logo. If you are on the Think NY Drink NY trail this is a must stop! Cheers Hoppycaligirl

Great spot in Schoen place. Good selection of beers. The Raspberry was delicious. Like the decor and set up inside. Parking can be a little challenging if you don't know the area. Was able to speak to one of the owners and it was great. Liked hearing about what is on the schedule for upcoming beers. The Flanders and Coffee beers were also delicious.

We stopped in to try the brewery and we're greeted by the two beer tenders. it was a very nicely decorated space! They have a beautiful bar made from a tree that had been well loved and had to be taken down I guess. They had their air conditioner on, which was absolutely wonderful on a hot humid July day. I enjoyed it immensely, as well as trying the beer, which wasn't bad. Nothing like a cold brew on a hot day!

It's easy to miss this place since it's small and located in an area with many different stores but it sits alone in the middle. There is no outdoor seating and seating inside is minimal but it's also relaxing and the staff are so friendly and kind. We sat at the bar with our dog and had a few drinks. Their beer is good. There is even a water bottle filling station or a spot to get yourself a glass of water. Nice little stop when in the village of pittsford.

I came here on an early Saturday afternoon to try a flight in the hopes of selecting a few crowlers to take home. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the beer, making recommendations based on my taste preferences. The beer itself was great. The stand-outs for me were the New Chiller Mango Pineapple and the Second Pump Mixed Berry. Both on the sour side. The beer that wins 'most interesting' was the Infused Coffee Belgian Single. The smell was clearly coffee, but the taste was so subtle that it would likely appeal to a non-coffee drinker. I recommend trying it for something different! I walked away with four crowlers to take home, each priced between a reasonable $12-14. Stop in here for a low-key afternoon or for takeaway options that will not disappoint!

Amazing brewery in Pittsford! They're dog-friendly and genuinely welcome each person coming through the doors. The ambiance is full of locals unwinding from the day/week, and the vibes couldn't be better. Fantastic brews. Definitely check it out!

Cute tiny brewery with 14 taps. A few IPAs, Ales, Stouts, and sours. No food except for some chips for snacks. Friendly staff, clean bathroom, plentiful parking. Taster, 1/2 pour, 10oz, and 16oz pours

Great place and great beers!

I am not just a beer connoisseur, but a bar lover! (I seriously might have a bit of a problem.) I can not say enough great things about this place! To start: we were leaving lunch at 2:30 and they opened early to pour us some brews! They have a wide selection of beers and four IPAs on tap, different sizes and are more than happy to pour you a sample and give you a lil' education about what you're drinking. Check them out!

I…read morelove visiting the Erie Canal area in Penfield, NY, and on my recent visit, I checked out this cool establishment for the first time. Lock 32 serves a nice variety of craft beer from local breweries which can be enjoyed while sitting in or near the bar area or outside on the patio, if you order from their outside pouring station. They do not allow beer ordered inside to be taken outside as they serve in beer glass while outside they use plastic cups. I received good service on my visit. Their beer listing on the menu had the variety that I was looking for to get a flight. I enjoy beer flights (wherever available as long as the place has a good variety of beers). If you look at one of my photos of 'The Brews' (menu) for reference, I ordered their #5 (Yankee Leaper), #6 (Berm Side), #7 (Leap 'n Lime), and #9 (No Wake). They were all good in taste and to my liking. My most favorites were the Yankee Leaper and No Wake. The beer flight was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was nice. People were chill and friendly. They had some snacks available for purchase but I think you could bring some food from outside to enjoy with your beer (I saw someone with a box of pizza). I would highly recommend checking out Lock 32 if you happen to be in Erie Canal/ Penfield area. It's enjoyable and relaxing to be there while soaking in nice views (especially during warm weather months).

Convenient to my parent's home when I visit Rochester but not a place I would return…read more Pros: + Great for groups. Ample space both upstairs and downstairs. + 2 of the 4 sours I had were decent. + Great for kiddos as they have an outdoor space that's family and dog friendly. It was very busy the day we went with a fun atmosphere outside. + Historic venue with a nice restoration for the brewery. The less great: + The setup means long waits. Having to wait in line for beers in a completely packed brewery with two bartenders is not a way to run a business. They need to consider a new strategy for ensuring they can accommodate the volume they are currently doing. + Had a bite of someone's burger and found it more or less inedible. + My parents had attempted to organize a large family gathering on the day we were there and while I wasn't involved in the planning, there seemed to be missteps and miscommunications along the way that weren't met with much empathy or customer service in mind. Too many great breweries in Rochester to waste time on spots that aren't going to ensure guest satisfaction. Great location though! This place is so, so busy it's obvious the east side isn't brewery saturated (somehow) quite yet.

The Detroit style pizza is phenomenal! Perfect crispy crust. I was there on a Friday but came back the next day to try the tomato pie as it was sold out on Friday. It was delicious! Think focaccia with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese. So tasty! But what is brilliant is that of four pizzas, one rotates each week and changes. I had one of the rotating pizzas: pepperoni, banana peppers, garlic sauce, and honey. It bears repeating, wow! So great! The beers? There's something for everyone! So many hazy/New England IPAs and sours. Great seltzers too! The space is great with room for private parties. Such friendly staff. I hope to come back again before leaving!

3.5 stars from me…read more This is a cool little unexpected brewery we ran into on a long journey from Buffalo to rising storm brewery so we had to stop. Great ambiance. Love the hay bails and roof over top of them for hot summer days. Bet it would be an excellent fall stop. Anyway, they lose some stars because the bar tended didn't seem to know anything about beer or the beers they were serving. I was disappointed in her answers to me and instead she was trying to see me in a mimosa bar. The mimosa bar is a nice idea, but it's at a side table far from the bar and it seemed like that fruit was sitting there all day and getting buggy. Lastly the smell of the bathroom or is it the pipes.... It's undescribable. It's putrid and you can totally smell it close to the mimosa bar as you're getting closer to the bathroom area. They really need to do something about that. We were there two hours and the smell never got better so it's got some kind of plumbing issue.. I do hope to come back this fall and see what they do with the place.
