Nice brewery kinda tucked in the back of a industrial area in downtown Fairport with tons of parking. Outside there are several tables but inside it is pretty large with lots of seating and a large bar. The beer here was actually the best we had on our little brewery self tour in the area. There is also lots of merch and drinking water that is self pour. The only reason I give this place 4 out of 5 is we have been to many breweries and they usually allow dogs inside, I am not sure why this one doesn't but they should consider this in the future. It makes it hard to pick out what drinks you want and carry all the drinks down the stairs for your group when someone has to stay outside with the pet. It's also can get very hot outside and there is limited cover. read more

The place is located a little farther back vs other breweries in the same plaza, so keep going back further. We were looking around for a place to have a beer, and places weren't open yet. They weren't officially open yet, but let us in. Beers were good and price was great. To go 4 packs of 16 iz beers were only $10. The place is dog friendly, which is another plus. Also, can bring in your own TKs pizza. read more

Great brewery! Large open space allows for groups to congregate and cheers. Picnic tables around the room to play games, cards, snack, or just hang out. Kid friendly :) person welcome, but must be in a leash. It was awesome to see families with babies and small children playing kid board games while the patrons shared stories and beers. Nice simple venue with a tasty beer selection and friendly service. There's popcorn on the side for free and they also sell jerky if you want something heavier. If I'm not mistaken they were willing to let us order pizza since they don't have a kitchen. Unfortunately that are "gluten reduced" items instead of gluten free that may deter those with Celiacs. I hope one day they will expand these options to keep customers in their venue instead of darting off to Iron Smoke next door or the restaurants down Main Street. The venue is dog friendly, so it guess that's subjective if that's a make or break for you. read more

Was here visiting our daughter...excited to start the holiday celebrating and heard a lot about this place...especially that the beer is great and they are pet friendly! Well ......guess not...we have a 9 lb dog and she was warming in our coats....the rude woman who approached us told us to take "it" Outside!! In the absence of pizza, you'll need to buy inexpensive cheese and cracker, beef jerky or popcorn to comply with state rules. Super friendly bartenders and lots of space for gathering. They have quite a few beers (lemonade and seltzer too!) on tap and a bunch more in cans to take with you! Would have loved for there to be a few fans around since it was so hot the day we were there, but otherwise pretty comfy spot to sit and catch up with friends! This was our first time in and we loved everything about this place! We split a flight of 6 beers and didn't have one we didn't enjoy. It was pretty chilly in there but it's in a warehouse type of building so that's probably why. There isn't a food menu, but they do offer popcorn. But there are Plenty of places to eat close by in the Fairport area. Iron Smoke Whisky distillery is right next door as well. This brewery offers crowlers, and I remember seeing on Monday's they are half off! They have souvenirs to purchase along with art on the walls. There was plenty of seating when we were in on Saturday. Definitely recommend this brewery if you are into craft beers! You would never even know where this place is because it's tucked back in an old industrial building/parking lot which is pretty neat. We will totally be back! read more

Cool brewery located in the heart of Fairport. We came here on a Thursday night and there were plenty of tables, but groups slowly trickled in throughout the night. They had a wide variety of beers including IPAs, stout, sour and seltzer which was great. Recently they started having some food options including salty bread which if you haven't had.... YOU're missing out! Overall had a great atmosphere and I suspect in the summer the garage doors open up. read more

On this #ThankYouThursday, I'd like to thank the folks at the brewery for going in, producing delicious drinks to get us through this quarantine, and for doing what they can in the community. Spur of the moment drop in on a Sunday evening. Light crowd as I expected but a crowd nonetheless. Our server was great! He was friendly and informative and the neighbor of the owner. Beer was really great and he offered samples readily. I had the Uniduckapuss Sour. No food which mean's dog friendly! Free popcorn. Bar seating and picnic table seating. Food trucks sometimes and some outdoor seating. I want to go back in the summer when they open the large garage style glass door. I love the location and old warehouse style building. read more

I walk in with my date & order 2 beers. The bartender tells me that the beer I ordered needs a new keg & that it should just be a couple of minutes while they change it. I ask him to bring them to the table once it's ready & he replies, "I'm not doing any of that". Triphammer is a brewery located in an industrial building strip in Fairport. The location is great as it is close to downtown with restaurants, bars and distilleries! There were two food trucks outside which was really cool! Triphammer is a large open room with a bar top on the left and table seating on the right. We got the Triphammer IPA, Cider, Belgian Wit, and the Hefeweizen. We enjoyed all of them! The Belgian Wit was refreshing, wheaty and hit the spot! The Hefeweizen was not as banana-forward as we would have like but it was a good one none the less! We enjoyed our visit and look forward to our next trip out to Fairport! read more

The Rochester beer scene is lucky to have a lot of great choices, and Triphammer is worth the ride out to Fairport. Not only can you drink beer, you can do so with your dog or kid! We went in with two dogs for a few beers on a Sunday. The dogs were able to hang out and relax along with us as long as they are well behaved. We were there maybe a year or so ago and weren't as impressed by the beer as we have been in recent months. Triphammer has scaled up significantly and is now available on draft at many local bars. The IPA is impressive, it matches the hop bomb character of beers that are super hot right now. They will gladly offer a taste before you decide on a pint and offer a ten ounce beer if you're looking for a smaller beer as well. We tried a few other beers as well and they were well balanced. Triphammer Bierworks is a great spot! We will be back with our furry friends soon! read more

This was a typical beer tasting room brewery. The beer was good in taste & quality. The one tip is to avoid sitting on the picnic style tables. As soon as I sat down I could tell my back was going to start aching, from the low benches. Within an hour I had to leave the brewery due to back pain. Just really good beer. Been here a few times and know I'll be back many more. I've had a flight and loved tasting each one of the unique beers, but the winners have been the IPA and the Hefe so they are my go-tos for pints. Also worthy of recognition is the Coffee Porter which isn't too bitter or syrupy, but just right. They have popcorn to help keep that beer company in your belly, but I also see food trucks parked outside frequently and they have happy to let you bring your own snacks or take out. The space is big and "warehouse" style. There's picnic tables, air hockey, a giant Jenga set, and tons of board games. It's a fun, laid back atmosphere that doesn't have to be fussy because the beer stands on its on. read more

Triphammer recently opened in September of 2016 in an old mill right next to the railroad track. The garage doors open and there are games from foosball to darts and countless board games. This was our first time at Triphammer. Our GPS took us to the rear of the building. If you find yourself in the same situation, just continue down the street to Main and turn right to drive down the large access road/parking lot to Triphammer's entrance. They've done an amazing transformation of this building into a beer hall. They brew on site and have a great looking operation. They have a nice selection of beers and are helpful and informative in choosing. We ended up trying all on tap but the lager. Out of the several craft breweries we visited in the area, their beers seemed to be the best in overall quality and taste across the flight. Good popcorn, too. They're doing things the right way. Very excited to have this place here! The beer options are fantastic- currently on tap is a Rye Pale Ale and IPA, both delicious. They also have a Hefeweizen, Belgian amber and Belgian wit, which are great as well. The space is fabulous- big open bar, lots of tables and it just feels roomy. The only food is popcorn, but you can bring in your own. Scott the owner is a great guy, and we love the bar staff- all really nice people who know their beer. Love this brewery and we frequent it 2-3 times per month! Beer is consistently excellent (I'm an IPA and Porter lover) compared to other local breweries, staff is friendly and attentive. Such a cool find in Fairport! I was a little skeptical of the location, but when I went in I was so glad I went out of my way to go there! It is a great space with a ton of board games, darts, Foosball, and a few other things. There is no food besides popcorn, but they allow you to bring in your own food for parties. Finally, the beer was amazing! I have to admit that I have been a little underwhelmed by new breweries recently, but this one blew me out of the water. I also loved that you could get a 6 piece flight of all the beers on tap. I'm definitely heading back here soon! read more

Hidden gem! I highly recommend coming here for good quality beer with a variation on tap. The place is hidden in the back of a parking lot/warehouse. If you're on Main Street in Fairport look for Fairport village Inn and turn. You'll see warehouses on the right and then you'll see Iron smoke whisky and then Triphammer. There's plenty of parking and an area outside to enjoy the summer weather. They also have food trucks in the warmer weather so check out their Facebook and social media to stay up to date on events. The inside is open and there's plenty of room. Also, there's darts, a kids area and giant janga! It is dog friendly but I believe they have a three bark rule. There's also completely popcorn and water station. I love meeting my family and friends here and I highly suggest checking it out! read more

Assuming you like beer... and in particular a local craft brew. It's a little hard to find in an old factory building in Fairport (kind of across from Compane and behind Iron Smoke). All they offer is their brews (7 types on this particular night), limited soda and water (for a buck each), and popcorn... but, they also have a visit from one of the local food trucks on Saturday's from 4-9 PM and a few special occasions. You can check on their web site if you have a favorite. On this night we had sandwiches from "Meet the Press" and they were great. They fill growlers and crowlers (a very cool 32 oz can) and have a popular beer flight for $10 - one of each beer they have that day. I tried a Mosquito Blonde that was infused with mint and lime and really liked it. It's not for everyone as a guy a couple of stools down the bar said it tasted like toothpaste... everyone is different. They also had a really good Coffee Porter that tasted like a smooth French Roast. The place is very roomy with a number of games (air hockey, foosball, darts, etc) and is kid and dog friendly. The serving staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It's a unique experience and a fun evening out. read more

Ok...I'm a Fairport guy, for a lot of years. I love to see the village prosper! Really love it. We went to Triphammer yesterday. Honestly I really like it, except for this. Look I'm glad people love their dogs, and they should. But not a fan of pets in bars or restaurants. But it goes one step too far when I see little dogs set on the bar with there dirty paws, nasty butt...we'll you know. Also, dogs sitting on the tables, like I did yesterday at Triphammer. It's Not right, just wrong. Ok, bring your dogs, I can shift my thinking, but please keep them off areas that are serving and where they put my beer glasses, please. read more
