A first of its time in Rochester right now, but not for long. If you asked someone in Rochester…read morewhat Kombucha was two years ago no one would know what you were talking about. Ask someone today and you'll still get about half who do and half who don't. This shop is trendy and cute, situated in clover plaza conveniently next to Lulu Lemon for those health nuts that also like yoga. The staff is VERY friendly and knowledgeable, so any questions you have with Kombucha being so new, I'm sure they'll have the answer for ya. So for those of you of don't know what kombucha is - don't fear you're not alone. What Kombucha is, is a fermented (sometimes slightly alcoholic) fermented tea. It is typically crafted with billions of live probiotics, organic acids and many other fine ingredients. It is drank commonly intended as a functional beverage for its supposed health benefits. It comes in a variety of flavors and a variety of types of health benefits. House of Kombucha's brew, KogaBucha is brewed so there is no alcohol in it. What I like about their KogaBucha is that it has a stronger fermented taste but also more bold in flavor than your typical grocery store bottled Kombucha. They also offer a lot of CBD products from your typical oils, honey sticks and gummies to water soluble oils (something I have never heard of before). Definitely a cool place to check out because I see a lot more of these types of places popping up in the near future. Last but certainly not least, make sure to buy a bottle of their hot sauce that is made with Kombucha as well - It's the bomb.

The Kombucha was delicious and I ended up purchasing a roll on oil for some long term aches and pains. This oil wasn't full spectrum and it works wonderfully. The vibe was very friendly and I would highly recommend HOK.

I've been here before but never got around to writing a review, glad we stopped in recently!…read more I used to think, since it's a Co-Op, it was only for members. But that's changed (or maybe I just misunderstood!), and now anyone can shop here. Prices are a bit higher about $2-$5 more than other grocery stores depending on what you're getting, also know you're supporting a community focused, local business. It's not a huge place, but they've got a solid selection of essentials, and some nice specialty items too. There's even an outdoor area if you want to relax with a snack or a drink. Staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful. They have private parking lot! I'll definitely be back.

It's a bit of a drive for me, but worth it. The staff were so pleasant, kind, and patient. I have a disability, and Richard took his time to explain everything to me. You can just go in and shop, or you can join the co-op. I joined, there are a lot of benefits, including discounts, events, they want to hear from you, and suggestions. It's in the South Wedge. A great neighborhood, and it's decorated outside and has some amazing murals so you can't miss it. I wish I had thought to take pictures. Will do it next time. Bring your own bags. Parking was easy. The aisles are nice and wide. They have small baskets that roll, making it really easy for someone with disabilities to shop. Their meat section is all frozen, which is fine. I bought frozen wild salmon. They have a big sausage section, with some delicious sounding ingredients. I will have to get some next time.

The Red Fern was such a pleasant surprise for our mixed‑diet household. None of us are vegan,…read morethough we do have a vegetarian and one omnivore who's always happy to go along for the ride. We all found something to love here. We started with the pickled things, served in the cutest mismatched china. Everything was delicious, but the carrots were the standout -- so good we joked about drinking the pickling liquid. We also tried the Pink Lemonade and the Strawberry Alarm Clock juices, both incredibly fresh and vibrant. You could taste every ingredient. Since we couldn't decide on just one entrée, we split the Thai Kale Salad and the Buddha Bowl (with added mushrooms and avocado). The Thai Kale Salad was everything you want it to be -- bright, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating. We were sure it would be the star of the meal. Then the Buddha Bowl arrived. The smoky tofu, creamy coconut rice, perfectly dressed kale, and all the veggies worked together beautifully. But the real showstopper was the added mushrooms -- so rich and full of depth that we nearly fought over them. We enjoyed everything out on their patio and left already planning our next visit. A wonderful meal all around.

I got the steak and potatoes and it was great, the grilled cheese was good too, the kale was yummy and so was the salad, the chocolate mint Oreo cake on the other hand was either a week old or just not made with love cuz it was as dry as the Arizona desert, very gross. I'll be back tho for more try's.
