Made a pit stop here on the fly by trip up to the finger lakes. Saw it on the Yelp app and the brews looked tasty so we stopped in. Great space and the interior is just as cool as the exterior! They have a great room with lifesize Jenga and connect four! I'm talking dinner plate size connect four chips! SO damn cool and a great idea! On to the beer of which they had an ample selection. I tried the pomme king cider, seneca falls sunset raspberry cream ale, madarin haze tangerine milkshake IPA and the risque roggen. All of them were delicious and I was surprised I even liked the IPA and cream ale. Crowlers were so affordable and I got 3 to go. If only this place was closer to home!

Visited Fleur De Lis Brew Works on Thursday evening. With excellent and complex beers and one of the best set-ups of any brewery I have ever visited, this is worthy diversion from your Finger Lakes wine tastings. Quality: Fleur De Lis Brew Works was not on our original schedule, but based on a recommendation we decided to squeeze it in, and I am glad we did. This is simply an awesome brewery. They have a fantastic and creative beer list, and an incredible space. During our visit we ordered two Flights, which included Seneca Falls Sunset, La Gourde, Pumpkin Pie, New England IPA, Lime Vanilla Milkshake IPA, Lost Bikini, Mango Guava Sour, and Milk Stout. A great range with quality across the board, but Lime Vanilla Milkshake IPA is a game changer. This beer alone is worth the trip, adding a new layer to the already fun milkshake IPA style. I also was a huge fan of La Gourde a pumpkin ale and the Lost Bikini, a coconut chocolate stout. Quantity: Excellent value for the Flight of four, they make sure glasses are full. Value: $8 for a Flight. $6-$8 for a Full Pour. Ambiance: Fleur De Lis Brew Works is located in Seneca Falls, New York. Transforming a farm into a massive brewery, it is a beautiful and welcoming space. The taproom is in a converted garage, but the decor distracts you into thinking you are in an old church. Stained glass and weathered wood surround the beautiful bar area, and the equipment catches your eye when looking elsewhere. The outdoor area is massive, and just asking for big events and live music. They have a big tent for covered seating, a huge fountain with chairs all around it, and then assorted picnic tables and Adirondack chairs spread across the rest of the lawn. They also have numerous outdoor games set up including a large frisbee golf course. Crowd: A good crowd for a Thursday evening. All the seats around the bar were filled and there were about ten people outside. They close relatively early, otherwise I'm sure folks would have hung out longer. Service: Everyone was super friendly and they did not mind at all we ended up staying a little past closing. Parking: Large parking lot located next to the taproom.

Stopped into WT Beers on Friday night for some beer and snacks. While I wish they had more of their…read moreown beers on the menu, it still sufficed as a decent spot for a drink and bar food. Quality: WT Beers has a main location in Baldwinsville, but has opened a tap room and bar in Seneca Falls. So while they had two of their own beers on tap, the majority of beers were from other local breweries. We tried their own beers, the Amber Ale and Nut Brown, both solid autumn weather beers, before moving towards other options. They also have wines and cocktails on the menu, which will make this place even more popular when they increase their own creations. The food menu is a lot of bar staples, we ordered Mozzarella Sticks and a Half-Dozen Wings with Garlic Parm Sauce. Good snacks for enjoying a beer and the game. Quantity: Plenty of size options regardless of whether you want to sip, sample, or enjoy a full beer. The bar food was good to share, but a few selections are needed to fill up. Value: $3-4 for Half Pints. $7 for Mozzarella Sticks. $9 for a Half-Dozen Wings. Ambiance: WT Beers has a strange location in the Downtown Seneca Falls area. It is not on the main stretch, instead you need to head down a ramp and it sits close to the river walkway. The bar has a small outdoor area and then a pretty large inside space. The actual bar sits at the center, with plenty of seats around it. There were plenty of televisions throughout the space, but many were not working right and they seemed small and old. To gather a sports crowd, it definitely needs some work. The tunes were excellent and I believe the bartender had a lot to do with that. Crowd: A good number of people hanging out at this bar on Friday evening. Service: The bartender was great. It was a decent crowd on Friday night and he was handling everything. He also was able to keep a couple of guests who were starting to get obnoxious in line. Parking: Plenty of street parking throughout the area.

We had the chance to try some great beers, and one unique experience stood out: mixing two beers together, a concept similar to a blend in the wine world. As the bartender put it, "It's a game we like to play." On tap, they had a solid lineup: 1. Hector Logger - A traditional lager (4.9% ABV) 2. Goatmaster Kölsch - A crisp Kölsch (5.1% ABV), which I tried and really enjoyed 3. RedBeard - A Red Ale (5% ABV), a reliable go-to beer 4. Cream Ale - A bit different at 6.7% ABV, more robust than the typical lower-ABV versions 5. Golden Crush - A hazy IPA (5.1% ABV) that had nice fruit-forward notes, but not overpowering 6. X IPA - An Imperial IPA (7.8% ABV) Mosaic! Mosaic! - A Pale Ale (5.2% ABV) that followed the traditional pale ale profile and was very enjoyable 7. Goatmeal Stout - An Oatmeal Stout (8.1% ABV) Then came the blends--something I hadn't seen much of before. The only one I tried was 1. Goat Juice, a 50/50 mix of Hazy IPA and Kölsch (5.1% ABV). It was bursting with amazing flavors, the best of both worlds. Some of their other blends included: 2. Red X - A mix of Red Ale and Imperial IPA 3. Goatgasm - A Kölsch and IPA blend 4. Headbutt - A Stout and Cream Ale combo I tend to gravitate toward Hazies, Kölsches, and Pale Ales, so this place hit all the right notes for me. I can't wait to come back and see what new creations they have on tap next time!

Their craft beers are decent, and the food really is bar food. The best thing I can say about it is that we were able to bring all the family together, over 20 of us, three generations, all in one place, all without reservations. We'll likely go here again when we are back in the area from California and want all the family under one roof.

It's not made to order or even the day of (which it's very simple food and only takes a minute or so to prepare, so i don't get why). There is a "packed date" on the container when you get your food. (Can't say if this is true for the pretzel though, but definitely applies to the other 3 snack items). Would definitely not recommend this cafe to anyone unless they're absolutely starving. Eat before/after you visit here. Turkey BLT wrap 5/10 Mayo comes on the side so it doesn't get soggy. Smart. Wrap was very skimpy. There was maybe 1 or 2 slices of lunch meat turkey in it, and a slice of bacon. See photo. Not worth the price at all. Pasta salad 4/10 SUPER DRY. Was like eating plain wet noodles. Probably because it sat overnight. Needs more dressing for sure. The combination of ingredients were good together though. See photo. Iced latte with caramel 5/10 Couldn't even taste the caramel. Plenty of milk, but it was just poured in.. Not even frothed like a latte usually is. It was just like drinking a plain flavorless iced coffee. Sugar is separate to add yourself, which I did not know until half of my drink was gone. Suggestions for improvement: Fresh is best! Prepare and cook meal items to order/day of.

Once for a bonfire! Lol It's a local thing. They have a wonderful casual deck. I love sitting out there. On this last visit, we skipped the beers, and went straight for Babe's burgers. They are stationed on the deck. I ordered their burger with carmelized onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Pickle on the side. The tomato was a farm fresh Tomato which is AWESOME! It was a local farm grown tomato, and the burger was delish. We ordered a small fries, and 3 of us shared them, and still threw some out. Yes, a small is that large. They don't sell drinks at the babes burger window. We got those at the bar. They had a free water jug, with plastic cups. I ordered a Waterloo sparking water, one friend had regular water, and the last had a soda. Because the owner makes their own beer there. I highly recommend checking them out, for beers and burgers. We didn't order any this time, because we were getting ready to go on a long drive. But....Since I live there, I can confirm their beer is worth it! I love their casual atmosphere, it's a great place to go to talk and dine. It's a local place, so it wouldn't be awkward to see go there and run into friends and start combining tables. Everyone is super friendly, so if you're ever lonely or bored, it's a great place to stop by, and hang out, you're almost guaranteed to make new friends. Parking can be tricky if they are busy, but people park on the street as long as they don't block any cars from getting by. I also love that they allow dogs, on leash, and they can't beg. Common sense rules, so don't leave your dog at home. Bring them out!

He was very friendly and provided some great information on the cask-brewing process and how it differs from the American process. The few beers in my flight (about $12ish) all tasted great but lacked the traditional carbonation found in most typical beers. This, along with being served at room temperature, is a major difference from other beer I learned. The cask ales are naturally carbonated giving it a milder, less harsh, and maybe flatter taste. Most other beers are force-carbonated. While not available on the day I visited, I would loved to have tried some of their food options. Maybe I will the next time I am in the area. The owner, Bradley, was not only an amazing gentleman but super funny and kind. This is the type of place you go to because it makes you feel warm and at home.
