The gentleman serving me had a bad attitude and constantly on his phone. He made me feel I was a problem and he didn't seem to even want to be there, although good at tidying the place up. He was smiling to other people. I was constantly stared at by a young woman at a table on a computer and judging by the people talking to her, she must work here. The guy who cooked my grilled cheese was okay, but slammed trays around and seemed annoyed I didn't react to the buzzing unit that indicted my order was done. He brought my meal to my table and took the unit away. If you're a younger generation person who can hear fine, this is probably your place. I will say that the woman in dreads/braids is super cool to everyone. She makes you feel at home and welcome. Everyone else, not so much. Cool atmosphere, but ciders are just okay. Notable is their Loganberry cider, a flavor unique to Buffalo, NY and the reason I came here specifically. My friend lived in Buffalo for ages and asked me to bring some home to him. I also strongly recommend the peach and (if you like coconut) their coconut cider. All delicious! They have solid wings and flatbread too, especially considering how far out in the middle of nowhere they are. And amazing hours, open until 10p! But what I have to compliment the most is the friendliness of the staff here. I was the only visitor on a random Thursday evening in January and the hours flew by just chatting about all sorts of stuff. I learned a lot about the area and it was all so interesting. I talked so long my food got cold and they even reheated it for me. Now that's service! I came to Corning for a small vacation and I don't know if I'll ever be back again, but visiting Cider Creek was definitely a highlight of my trip. I might not drink this straight, but I could think of many ways to blend that beautiful honey flavor into drinks. Then we tried the mead blended into fruit wine. I liked the raspberry blend but blueberry was my favorite. The very clear taste of the fruit was beautiful with the honey notes and you knew it wasn't just a juice drink..the alcohol was there as well. The ciders were a nice surprise taste wise. I'm not a big cider fan, but when I tasted the gold medal winning Strawberry and crisp apple cider it was a win for me. The single fruit choices of all these were selections were wonderful.... sometimes the blending of different fruits leaves to confused tastes for me. And it was only a 10 mi Ute drive from central Ithaca. At 11 am on a Monday, at opening, we were the only people there. We sat at our table and for the next hour had the opportunity to taste five different ciders, made from various types of apples and using different processes for each. It was fascinating. They gave us nuts, cheese, and olives for our between-cider tastings. We had planned to get lunch but the ciders and snacks were enough for us. This is a really nice, quaint cidery that is easy to find. It's quiet. It's roomy. It was just a really nice experience. We bought a few bottles on our way out for family and friends. Definitely recommend!!!

What an awakening it was to have REAL apple cider...straight from the source. The fist clue that you are in for a treat is when you walk through the door and the sweet aroma of apples smacks you in the face. I looked around for jugs of cider...none to be found. That is because it is "on tap" from two barrels embedded in the wall! They will fill any size container you'd like. Cool. You can also buy fresh apples, apple cider donuts, and jams and jellies. During my last visit I was told that you can freeze the apple cider so I was able to buy more to last until they open again....almost. One thing to keep in mind: they have a "season" which ends on January 31 and sometimes the days/hours change. If you are traveling here it is best to call ahead. They re-open in August.
