    Cider flights

This place is almost off the grid. For a minute I though we had the wrong address because we were driving to what I thought was the middle of nowhere and then we got here. The place is super cute, the ciders are great and the service even better! We stoped on our way back to Buffalo from the Corning Museum of Glass. I am so glad we did. We were immediately greeted, given a menu and explained the specials. We were super hungry, so we ordered 2 flights of cider and 3 pizzas. All their ciders were really good and interesting. They had a lot of fruit ciders. I usually expect those to be sweet, even when they call them semi-sweet, but in this case all the semi-sweets we tried were more towards the semi than the sweet, that's the way I prefer them. We were also greeted by the local puppy Rocky. He was very sweet and kept giving us puppy eyes for pizza. I am not a Bloody Mary lover but apparently they have a Bloody Mary bar every Sunday from 12-3. If that is your think you may want to give them a try. Cider Creek is a must stop for cider lovers.

We love Cider Creek! The food is amazing, the cider, and the atmosphere. Highly recommend trying it out, even if you don't think you like cider. That was me, but here I found out I was wrong.

    Cider flight!

This place was really nice. I'm not usually a cider person, but loved the ones that we tried. The customer service was the only thing that was lacking, we felt weird walking in, no one really acknowledged us. But before we left my husband talked to the owner about hunting& alligator hunting. We will be back for sure.

Review time! Woot! I've been buying cider creeks cider at Weggies forever. Finally made it to cider creek, in person. It was so cool I missed the dog that usually hangs out there - totally bummed. Maybe next time!! The ambiance was lovely, as was our pizza (blanco) and smoked wings (kicken bourbon). It takes a few back roads to get there - worth the drive for sure

First of all this place is a ways out so be prepared for some dirt road driving, but it's totally worth the trip! We didn't choose the best day to visit, unbeknownst to us it was family day, and there were a lot of kids running around doing activities. The cider was great. Our favorites were the farmhouse, cran mango, one in a melon, and my all time favorite was the Loganberry. They also have a decent selection of beer from local breweries and wine from Miles Winery. We tried the pretzel with beer cheese and mustard and it was great. The pretzel is huge and fluffy and the mustard had a great spice to it. We also tried the chicken on a chain pizza which is ultimately a chicken wing. The crust was super thin and crispy on the edges. It was good, we'd have only hoped for a little more buffalo sauce...but we like hot! Overall our experience was pretty good and we will be back.

If you're in the area and enjoy hard cider, Cider Creek is a must. Enjoy a flight of house made cider or imported cider while tasting one of their artisanal pizzas. These do NOT fill you up but are a great snack and do an excellent job of complimenting the cider. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza and it was topped with a delicious gorgonzola cheese and spinach that was very delicious! In all, this place is very unique with some amazing scenery and definitely worth the stop!

We did not have a reservation, but easily found ourselves a spot at the bar. It was a pretty rainy and crummy day, but even though a few other couples had the same idea as us to hit a winery to avoid the rain, we did not feel crowded in the space at all. The winery is certainly one of the most well decorated spots we visited. They really lean into the barnstormer and plane vibes, with appropriate decor in every facet of the interior. It was very tastefully done and gave the winery a certain fun and unique vibe. We were seated at the bar for our tasting. The bar was quite large, holding a number of different couples but giving us all adequate space to spread out, have a few glasses in front of us, and not cloud the others' conversations. You could chose from a few different preselected tastings, and I opted for a mixed red and white tasting while my husband opted for the all red tasting. My husband enjoyed all of his, particularly liking the merlot. I enjoyed the whites in my tasting more than the red (I had a weird after taste from one of them which tainted the red experience for me), favoring the chardonnay of all things (I am not a chard gal). We appreciated how our server engaged with us, telling us a bit about each wine but also navigating hte entire bar without lingering too long in one place. She answered our many questions about the wine, being knowledgable but also approachable. We had a great time and enjoyed our wines. Barnstormer was a great rec from our various servers etc while in the Finger Lakes - while the wines themselves may not be at my top, the vibe and service did stand out. That being said, we did take a bottle home with us, so I'm looking forward to enjoying that on a special occasion!

We wanted to visit a winery that had some drier selections and that was also open during the week,…read moresince we weren't going to be around for a weekend and found Inspire Moore on Yelp. They are a small family owned and run winery, and the tasting room is located in a really cute town in the middle of a field of concord grapes! Oh wow, I have never smelled a field of grapes ready to pick and that was a bonus! No fear though..,their wines are not all concord grape! They actually make a lot of California style wines and German inspired wines..hence the drier varieties we were looking for! We had a delightful tasting on the outdoor patio. We each selected 4 wines and then shared so we each tried at least 6-8 varieties. They are really making some interesting varieties here. The "Unsupervised" is a sparkling, unfiltered variety that we liked and found very unique. Levity, Gratitude and Joy were all excellent whites, and the sparkle in Levity was an added bonus. We loved the reds too. Truth and Wisdom were our favorites. I had to try the Framboise even though I said I wanted drier wines....dessert wines are different, because...well dessert things can be sweet. This was excellent.,,a little glass of this with some quality dark chocolate and I'll be good... Everyone was friendly and the person in charge of our tasting knew and clearly loved the wines extremely well! The atmosphere was relaxed and lovely. We bought a bunch to take home, as a nice way ti extend the vacation. We also bought some concord grapes from a stand right outside. Not sure if they run the stand but another nice bonus!

The exterior of the buildings caught my eye as we drove by a few times a day or two beforehand, and this was a rare instance where judging a book by its cover paid off. This was a very pleasant experience and a rare recommend from the area. Inspire Moore...looks a little kooky, and it is. It's rare in my experience for a winery to sell anything other than wine, food and maybe some wine-related merch, but there's a significant chunk of the establishment devoted to other products; the first room or two by the entrance is more cluttered/intimate and sold, for instance, leather-bound journals with motivational quotes and honestly items I associate with alternative tourist traps, the kinds with candles, dreamcatchers and zodiac shizzle (if you've ever been to New Hope, Pennsylvania, it reminded me a lot of the stores there, along with the 90s shopping mall institution The Nature Company; RIP). Not an insult by any means, but definitely different from the average bear. Full disclosure - I bought one of the journals. There's a much larger room in the back that I assume houses some legit events and it's got a pretty wild view of the vineyards in the back of the property. I didn't spend a ton of time there other than to access the adjacent bathroom (which also boasts that view), but a marked departure from the other areas of the building. The wine we sampled here was significantly better than one of its counterparts down the street, with complex flavors and just overall tastiness. I decided to bouge it up a bit with the $15 reserve tasting (there's a $10 tasting for the common man), which was the right call. Far and away, I thought the best wine I sampled was the 2022 Bourbon Blend Red, which I ended up buying a bottle of for the road (it's hanging out proudly on my wine cart now in the other room). I'm MUCH more of a white wine drinker than a red so this one was a surprise for me, but I was legit impressed with the different notes on the palate, notably the charcoal mixed with the plum, which bizarrely worked. And hanging out in some bourbon barrels for months? Sold. Really interesting nip and I'm planning to bring it out for a good time in the future. I loved the woman assisting us on this visit. Susan was in many ways the perfect host - very self-effacing (was upfront about her lack of wine knowledge after a career in teaching, and in a roundabout way it felt like we were discovering these wines with her) and sweet. She knew enough about the wines to still give us a bit of an education without ever coming close to preaching or condescension. Very pleasant addition to this winery and they should try to keep her around; it's unusual for that kind of personality to be at a winery, but it works. Markedly improved the experience, and I don't think you can really give a higher compliment than that. The atmosphere here was pretty good too; we didn't have an AMAZING view from our vantagepoint (we were placed on the porch toward the front of the building facing the street, with mostly a view of the restaurant next door), but we did have some pleasing vineyard optics off to the side and understandably lingered a bit at this stop. My youngest cousin chum was getting antsy but the photo opportunities helped in that regard. Her day will come. This was probably the only place in Naples I'd recommend; unique winery with interesting wine - grapes with a dash of quirk.

We have previously been Ravines wine club members and frequently enjoy stopping into their tasting room for wine tasting, food and purchasing bottles. We would have happily purchased some wine to take home with us (likely a case or more) but the staff was incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. When I asked, for future visits, when the tastings usually stop, I was told 4:30. Ravines may want to update their website and online presence to reflect this (everything posted says 5pm close) as we were disappointed to be unable to finish our Mother's Day celebration at their tasting room. Due to the completely unfriendly welcome (customers were walking past us with fresh pours, clearly having just been served), we opted to leave without purchasing any wine - a significant loss for their business, not only in sales but also in customer loyalty. No one apologized that we couldn't be served or asked if we wanted to purchase any wine. We won't be back any time soon and will share the experience with friends so as to help them avoid a similarly unpleasant experience. We were once loyal but now disappointed Ravines customers.
