This was a really nice stop on the Keuka Lake wine trail! Great views of the "y" in the lake from up here! Staff were so friendly and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable about their wine selections. We were very happy with our selections and enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. This is a "dry" wine site, but I'd say that they have something for everyone here. I'd be very happy to come back again!

Amazing service! Super friendly greeting and that continued with our server. Tastings are $10 and you get to choose 5 white wines or red and there are only a few not available for tasting. You can also taste their $55 Grappa for $3. Micah was amazing so outgoing and friendly super nice. You also get a plate of goodies when tasting which includes chocolate. Cheers great place highly recommend if you are in the finger-lakes region. Only mask restriction is for those not vaccinated

Came for a tasting on a Sunday morning and had a very enjoyable experience. It was perfect weather to enjoy wine outside while overlooking the vineyard and lake. Their wines are fantastic, and the service was great too. This is a great winery to enjoy a tasting.

I am going to tell you to MAKE A RESERVATION!! I was with a friend who made them! Even on a cloudy, misty, damp day it's busy! My brother oddly was also out wine tasting with friends on Keuka yesterday and couldn't get in, they had no reservations. I like sweet wines and these were on the drier side. Even their sweetest was a little dry for me. When I first started drinking wine I liked the drier wines, but as I got older and drink less, I just want the job done quick and I like my wines sweet and juicy tasting! They serve you a slice of cheese, oyster crackers, Chocolate wafers and a cracker with spinach pesto dip. I had to buy a tub and the chocolate wafers. It had an adorable tasting room with bench seating and fairy lights above. There were beautiful flowers outside and the view was to die for!!

Private table with wines delivered almost like a flight to each of us to take our time tasting at our own pace.

Wow wow wow. This winery was such a pleasant little surprise just hidden away up in the hills. We loved the individual seating as we tasted and the food was SO GOOD and needed as we had been tasting all afternoon. The puppy, Harry, was welcoming and sweet as well! Many thanks for a great experience and great wine! We bought many bottles

Excellent Vineyard - McGregor was a staple visit of ours for years, so much so that we decided to become members. We truly enjoy ourselves every time we visit. The views from the tasting room (or even better, the deck) are phenomenal. Sometimes we'll just go, buy a bottle of wine and some cheese, and just sit on the deck and relax. The staff of the tasting room is always very helpful, answering any questions you need. Wine Tasting - A few dollars for 5 tastings, a snack plate and a glass to take home. Nice additional touches, the glass, and the snacks. The staff is helpful and ready and willing to answer questions. The wine - I've never had a bad wine at McGregors, but some of them I like much better than others. The Chardonnay is always good, as are the Rieslings. But the reds here are phenomenal. There are a few vineyards in the finger lakes that know how to do red, and McGregors is certainly one of them. The Black Russian (also known as Saparavi) is amazing. Rob Roy is another excellent red wine. And the Highland Red is a reasonably priced, everyday red that we have really come to love. The view - sitting high above Keuka Lake, the views can't be beat. It's a great way to spend an hour, just sitting, enjoying some wine and cheese and relaxing while overlooking the lake. All in all, McGregor is one of, if not THE best winery in the Finger Lakes, at least in my opinion. It's not a visit to the region if you don't stop by.

One of the more quiet vineyards but we also came on a Friday before closing. Super cute place, wines were good, meats and cheese were delicious and the view was beautiful.

It is what brought me and Richard together during our big fight by the chimpanzee exhibit at the San Diego zoo. (We persuaded a chimp to take its paws off of the small child who had snuck in by hitting it over the head with a bottle of Riesling that Richard has snuck in his pants.) Richard and I have been looking for a Riesling that bring back those life changing memories for years but none have evoked those tops notes yet. Until we walked into Lakewood vineyards. Richard ran into a group of women on their bachelorette and said to the bride(zilla) "congrats" unfortunately he didn't really he was speaking to the devevil herself because instead of saying thank you (like a normal person) she stared at him like he had shot and killed her hamster (I would know #riptootsie) so Richard replied to her "I didn't have to say that" and then stomped away. Right after this interaction I knew this place was going to be perfect, and I was right. Thank you for the bridezilla thank you for the Riesling that tastes like freedom and thank you for the man at the juice refill station for scamming me out of three dollars while simultaneously treating Richard and I like a princess. They have a…read moreline of "Nathan K" wines, and since my husband is Nathan K, we immediately made this part of our trip to FLX. The winery is slightly confusing because it is named Hickory Hollow as the Yelp page suggests, but they serve Nathan K wines in addition to Hickory Hollow wines. It can be confusing for those looking for one or the other! But with some searching, we ultimately found the location we were looking for. We stopped on a pretty overcast and rainy day, and we found ourselves to be the only ones in the tasting room. The room is large indoors and with ample seating on the patio outside for nicer days. The interior features a lot of wood themes with low tables as well as bar seating / standing for the actual tastings. Lots of open space, so it would be conducive to a group of folks or even a party! Upon arrival, we decided to do a tasting. We did a tasting with the only employee on the ground, who we learned is the daughter of the owner and brother to Nathan K. She was really lovely to talk with (loved chatting about city vs FLX life and the food scene in all parts of NY and PA with her), but she didn't provide the *most* detail and explanation for each of our wines. No big deal, but having a server or sommelier walk us through our tasting is our preference to really make the experience shine. The wine was solid - not our favorite that we went to, but their reds definitely stood out from the rest. We had a nice time chatting with our server, and we were happy that Nathan K himself walked through the room during our tasting so we could introduce Nathan K to Nathan K! We wound up leaving with a bottle of Cab Franc, which was one of our faves from the tasting and of course, bore the Nathan K label, which my husband adored. I would definitely like to make it back and enjoy the outdoor area with a more informed wine tasting in the future! But thank you for indulging my husband with his own labeled wine!

First, the hillside view of Keuka Lake is gorgeous. Second, the tasting room interior has a modern and spacious feel. Third, we both enjoyed the Gewurtztraminer wine and purchased one bottle. Our server was quick to assist with the $12 tasting, but he seemed a bit rushed after a large crowd of visitors entered the facility. On the minus side, the rieslings were a bit flat compared to those of Dr. Konstantin Frank. Also, we made an advance reservation for 2pm, but the facility ignored it since it appeared to have a general "walk-in" policy for everyone. One downside of ignoring advance reservations is that it created a chaotic experience with customer waves. Also, it took about 15 minutes to check-out since a long line formed to exit and pay for the tastings. But overall, this was a good experience.
