A fun place my wife and I visit a few times a year. We're pretty much locked into their chicken parm and hope they don't do anything to change it. A family owned and operated restaurant that's great for a meal while out on a drive through the finger lakes. Definitely a locals spot! The staff is awesome, everyone was pleasant and welcoming. The decor gives you that warm and relaxed feel with lots of tchotchkes to keep your attention. Our meals were good with a rustic feel and I would like to return to try something else. Lots of people ordering the prime rib. The Antique inn is worth a try. My partner wanted to stop by here as he knew it to have good food and to show me the place where he held a memorial service for his former partner of fifty years. Yes, that's 50 years, which is a long time for a gay couples. Anyway, Antique Inn is an interesting place with the focus of décor being based upon antiques. There are a good number of antiques, nice enough but I didn't see anything of particular note. And then there is always that very disturbing fact when you realize you and your partner are older than some of antiques on display. Antique Inn is one of those places that exudes a certain cozy charm about it which is enhanced by a most gracious and charming proprietor. It's a place where you really feel comfortable and at home. As I believe Antique Inn is basically a dinner place, the lunch menu is somewhat limited but more than adequate especially considering the fact that they have daily special offerings. For my meal I went for one of the deli sandwiches with pastrami, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. It was a really good sandwich and to my delight and in sort of an Upstate New York tradition came in a Kaiser roll. My partner went for their Antique Inn Burger which, after no longer being able to put up with my petulance, let me try. As burgers go it too was very good and now with no surprise served in a Kaiser roll as opposed to the usual burger bun. read more

Great little find. Didn't look like much. Yell Review was good so thought we'd check in our on a college visit with our daughter. We came in between lunch and dinner- full menu available. Everything from Prime Rib to meatball sandwich to crab legs! We ordered a steak chef salad- delicious, fresh greens, my husband had the meatball sandwich- it was fair. Good meatballs, sauce a little bland, and my daughter just had a bowl of French Onion soup and it was very tasty! I enjoyed the spinach feta soup very much- wonderful flavor. The server (and maybe owner?) was great. Overall would recommend if you are passing by Keuka Lake. read more

Driving by and one quick glance, you wouldn't expect much from this restaurant. Once entering, there was a friendly face (Jenny) waiting to greet you with all smiles. This small but cozy and well decorated restaurant is very quaint. The menu is attractive, and surprisingly good. I went ahead and started off with the crab cakes. These were very tasty with real crab chunks that packed the cake. For mains I got the Prime Rib which was cooked the correct temperature. Taste wise, it was very well seasoned, not overly salty and well balanced. The accompanied spaghetti with homemade sauce was delicious. The biggest highlight of this experience was the great service and hospitality of Jenny. Not only the food was spectacular, Jenny will play a role of us returning as well. Don't let the old fashioned exterior discourage you, inside lies an old fashioned well kept restaurant with fantastic food. read more

We had dinner here tonight and we were so happy with our meal. Jenny the owner waited on us and helped to make our night fabulous! The food is fantastic and Jenny's attitude made the night a fun outing. The stuffed shells were awesome and so was the salmon. We felt like we were treated like family here. This is a family owned and run restaurant the quality of service and congeniality of service is the beat so far on the Lake. You will not find better in Penn Yan. We stopped in here after calling two other businesses and looked for places online all day and asked some locals at wineries where to eat and all were closed except this one on a Tuesday . It ended up being around 7:30 pm by the time we got to the place and they stopped serving food at 8. The place was Packed!!! had one table available in the back that followed all the NYS restrictions. After we sat down our waitress brought us our drinks and appetizers promptly. Not long after that our salads came out with delicious rolls. And as soon as we were done our meals come out hot and delicious. We got the stuffed shells and meatballs and veal Parmesan all with homemade sauce! It was excellent! Our waitress was fabulous too she interacted with us and was very personable and engaged in conversation that wasn't just about the food! You could tell this was a local joint and all the locals come in just to see our waitress. She's worked there 45 years and you could tell! The best part about the whole experience was that she didn't turn away a single customer 2 different groups came in about 5 minutes past 8 and she sat them and treated them with kindness even though they came in late. This place did it again! Excellent food and excellent service! Never disappointed coming here! I ordered the fried seafood platter. When I initially got it, I thought the dish seemed kinda small but by the time I was done, I was absolutely stuffed! My eyes were bigger than my stomach and boy was it delicious! The family also ordered their usual and to our surprise, we only needed 1 carry out box for left overs. The kids ate their food and loved every bit of it! We purchased a summer home not too far from the antique Inn and while looking for local restaurants to try out, we had no idea this restaurant even existed until I looked at reviews in the area. We weren't a small party and they accommodated us with open arms. The staff was super friendly! Everyone in our party was happy with their ordering. The food that came out was delicious and hot. We order the fried haddock, prime rib, chicken parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana, manicotti, and the kid's had their spaghetti with meatball and fried shrimp dishes. My 4 year old DEVOURED the carrots that was her side dish. We were shocked! Our other kids all finished their fried shrimp baskets as well. Kid's can be the best or worst critics and obviously the chef at the Antique Inn did something right! My wife had the the manicotti and as a picky vegetarian, she loved her dinner. Her mother who's an Italian and ALWAYS critiques others' tomato sauce (or gravy) said she loved the taste and consistency. I had the prime rib. I asked for Med-rare and got Med-well. I ordered the queen cut but seemed a little small. Not a big deal for me though. The flavor and juiciness of this dish was OUTSTANDING and definitely made up for it. Talk about savoring every bite! The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was comfortable and the food was great! We are so glad to find this hidden gem! We will definitely be back again for the excellent meals! Tasty and reliable. I've been a regular when in town for over 20 years. It's mid-May and they are open until 8 for dinner. I had the baked haddock, a baked potato, cooked carrots and a salad. Their Italian dishes are also very good, as are the desserts. read more

I have been wanting to take a relaxing drive to see the fall leaves, visit a winery, and stop to meet one of my clients for some dinner at the Antique Inn! The leaves were beautiful but the highlight of the day was the stop at the Antique Inn. Upon entering the restaurant your senses were met with the relaxing scent of cinnamon and other essential oils. The walls were filled with pictures of family members and past patrons. We were greeted immediately buy Jenny, who sat us and I was delighted to finally introduce myself. I already felt like I knew her and her husband Mike from previous business conversations. The menu was VERY IMPRESSIVE! Hard to choose from all the many different choices, from Pastas, to seafood, steak and prime rib. Everything was homemade, right down to the applesauce! I had the sirloin tips and my boyfriend had the haddock, with shrimp, scallops, pasta and veggies! We were NOT disappointed! Delicious!!!!! Paired with some local wine, you couldn't ask for more! But it got better. When we were the only ones left, Jenny and Mike came and sat with us for a few minutes! We also met their two daughters, who help out. it is definitely family owned and run! Was recommended this restaurant by my sister who was visiting the area.... I just moved up here a few days ago. She told me "they have the best stuffed shells I've ever had in my life!" So, me being a pasta lover decided to order this. First off, the French onion soup was excellent. The stuff shells were even better. I was so full I had to take the rest home in a box. But since I was so impressed with the dinner, I got dessert too, which was just as good. My mom and boyfriend came out too, both of their meals were great they said. Mom said "this is the best meal I've had in awhile", she also got the stuffed shells. The staff was very friendly, very busy and so the wait time was longer to get our check.... but we didn't care because the food was well worth any waiting. Not a great option. While the wait staff was very friendly and attentive the food was below mediocre. My steak was very bland the veggies so over cooked they were spongy. Others in the group had a similar experience. This was at a cost that should have supported a better cuisine. Your best bet is to head into Penn Yan for better fare and a lower price. read more

Great specials but pass on the Prime Rib. The prime rib I recently had was obviously grilled, not roasted, and was more fatty than I am used to. Great selection of sides, friendly service. The people are friendly and the service is prompt. It's a nice place to go if you don't feel like cooking and they will accommodate a large group. I wish they had more local wines but at least they serve them since they're located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine country!
