Absolutely beautiful place on the water. Was a little chilly when we went so we ate inside. Food is farm to table which I appreciate. Got the beef tenderloin and crab bisque. Meal was delicious. Perfect portions not too big or too small. Our service was very friendly.

The super cozy restaurant with an amazing scenic view of the finger lakes is a must visit spot. The 5 course meal was tasty and fulfilling. All the ingredients were locally sourced and every server in the restaurant knew where the ingredients came from and knowledge of the dish. The restaurant is vegetarian friendly and their desserts are freshly made everyday with a small twist. I recommend this restaurant!

Flavors and booze from the finger lakes with a nice view. Cozy restaurant with locally sourced ingredients. Friendly service. The venison and Moroccan shrimp were excellent. Will definitely be back when in town.

I've wanted to try this place for awhile because I'm familiar with the chef. The food did not disappoint. Everything we had was truly excellent (steelhead trout, shrimp, and tiramisu). All mouthwatering. I do wish we had tried the bread, but next time. Bonus that if you're staying there you get happy hour pricing on drinks regardless of the time. Good local wine selection. Where it fell a bit short was service. The manager (?) was excellent and took care of us right away, but our server didn't know that and got to us after a long wait, yet surprised we had been attended to. We were there celebrating a special occasion and noted it in the reservation, but no reference to it, which was a bit disappointing.

Went for my husband's bday based on a recommendation from our host. I don't usually leave a 5 star, but everything from the service (thanks, Maddie!) to the view and, of course, the food was spectacular. Wines were local; outstanding Chard from Lamoreaux. Started with the pea shoot salad ( dressing was totally different and wonderful). Entrees included seafood risotto and the gnocchi. Both lived up to our expectations. The brownie with local ice cream for dessert topped off a great meal. If you're trying to decide, don't think about it just go!!

VIEW: The patio was perfect for viewing the sunset over the lake. Through the sillouette of the trees we could see the beautiful colors of the sky as well as the reflection of the colors in the water. LIVE MUSIC: Sapalta offers live music and for being seated closest to the artist it is pleasant to say that the volume wasn't so loud that tables could not converse. It's always nice to have live music but it's also nice to hear the company you are with. FOOD: The food was delicious and the portions are decent. Unfortunately I was unable to eat my whole meal because it was bedtime for my unconsolable baby. The wonderful waitress wrapped everything up and sent my meal to-go with my party. The food was still delicious as I finished my meal fireside by the Yurts! In conclusion, Sapalta is a must try for parties of all sizes and especially perfect if you are glamping in a yurt!

A favorite dinner spot of our when we are in the finger lakes. Can't go wrong with anything they have.

Ambiance is fantastic. Menu was nice. A little pricey for what you got, but I'm a local, and I think they cater to tourists.

This is a restaurant connected to Lakeside resort and the residents dine here. We were not staying at the resort. When we arrived, we were seated promptly. We had an awesome view facing the Seneca lake and Hector falls. From our seats, we saw the rains come in. We had light jackets and were able to have an awesome dinner. For the dinner, we had scallops for appetitizer, seared salmon, fish tacos and chicken parmesan. For dessert, we had bread pudding and cheesecake. All delicious and cooked to perfection. They have a puppy called Rocky who visits each table! Well mannered puppy!

Nice place for some beer and burgers with a view. We were lucky enough to snag a spot outside…read more Ambience is kind of a rustic ski lodge inside. There's a friendly dog off leash who seems to be the house pet, but he definitely comes looking for food so be on the lookout. Service is friendly and helpful. We started out with some beer and ordered a pint of the two goats, red ale and a flight with the Seneca Lodge, peach blonde, war horse, and two of the red ales because they were out of the last one. Actually really enjoyed all of them. I normally go for darker beers, but the peach blonde was refreshing and would be perfect for summer. To start we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was OK but needed something crispy then pita. A toasted crostini was definitely called for. For entrées, we ordered two bistro burgers, which were both cooked nicely and complimented our beer nicely. Probably could've used a little more tomato jam, but we enjoyed our meal and the reasonable prices.

They are one of the few wineries that also serve food, so its a great place to grab lunch. The sandwiches we got were amazing (the Brooklyn and the Cuban). I would give the deli and bakery a 5/5. The attached winery was okay. They only do tastings at the bar, not at the table (at least when we were there). It was pretty empty.

Our next winery stop was Tabora, nestled along Seneca Lake. We were fortunate to have Keith as our…read moreserver, and he may have been one of the most remarkable people I've met in quite some time. His deep knowledge and passion shone through as he shared the rich history of the winery. The owners originally purchased land in Bucks County for farming but later moved to the Finger Lakes region, where they expanded into winemaking, a bakery, and a deli--a true craft-driven endeavor. Tabora was offering a special deal: buy one tasting flight, get the second free. Normally, I gravitate toward the drier the better, but the Winemaker's Jam caught my eye. My flight included: 1. 2021 Pinot Noir 2. 2021 Cabernet Franc 3. N.V. Heritage Noir 4. 2021 Maréchal Foch I started with the Pinot Noir, a light-bodied wine with aromas of cherry blossoms, strawberries, and dried fruit--absolutely sensational. Keith explained that all of Tabora's wines age in used French oak barrels but never for more than 18 months. Instead of prolonged oak aging, they transition the wine to stainless steel, preserving freshness while imparting just a touch of oak influence. Next up was the Cabernet Franc, which had soft tannins, a light body, and notes of raspberry and green bell pepper, with a slight oak finish--and wow, it was good. Then came my hands-down favorite: the Heritage Noir, a blend of different wines that was dry yet bursting with layered fruit flavors. It was truly an incredible experience on the palate. Finally, I sampled the Maréchal Foch, a sensational, jammy wine with hints of blackberry and pomegranate and a beautifully smooth finish. But Keith wasn't done yet--he had me try a few more, including an unoaked Cabernet Franc, which became another favorite. Aged 100% in stainless steel, it was bright with red fruit, hints of cherry, vanilla, and a touch of chocolate on the finish. Beyond the wines, Keith himself was a standout. As we sipped, he shared his life journey--from New York to Hawaii, a path shaped by his mother and sister. His stories were captivating, and if he ever writes a book, I'd be the first in line to read it. Cheers to Keith and Tabora for an unforgettable experience! #fingerlakes
