View out front window. - Inside a restaurant, a small round table is set for two with napkins and plates. The table is positioned in front of large windows with horizontal blinds, allowing a view of trees and a building outside. The interior features wicker chairs and a side counter with bottles and condiments. Natural light filters through the blinds, illuminating the space.

Chicken Pad Thai was great. Close to the bay. Employees were friendly and helpful. My second time there this week.

Pork Pad Thai and Beef Drunken Noodles - A close-up of two plates of Asian noodle dishes on a wooden table. The front plate contains stir-fried noodles with bean sprouts, chopped green onions, and a sprinkle of crushed peanuts or similar topping. The back plate has a different noodle dish with vegetables and possibly meat, served on a square dark plate. Silverware is placed on the table, and a person wearing a black shirt is partially visible in the background.

Best Thai food I've had in Rhode Island so far! The spicy chicken wings were absolutely delicious, smothered in sauce, just the perfect amount of spice, and somehow the coating on the chicken was crispy under the sauce. I really enjoy a zingy pad Thai and I was prepared to be disappointed when it came without a fresh lime wedge to squeeze on top. While I do think I would have enjoyed a fresh lime wedge, the pad Thai didn't actually really need it and had really good balance of flavors. My BF got the drunken noodles (** spice) and it had a good amount of heat. He cleared his plate and said it was probably the best Thai he's had in a while. They have their own small parking lot, which I was surprised about, and there's a decent amount of street parking in front of the restaurant and on the adjacent side streets.

I only come here when I'm in the area since I live in Providence County, but I love that it's right across the street from the water. Great location and service, casual, low-key setting. After my husband and I dropped off our daughter at a residential summer camp in Bristol just a short distance from Tong Phoon, we ordered for pickup via phone, parked our car in their parking lot to the side, and went for a walk on the pier while we waited for our food. I ordered the Drunken Noodles w/ chicken, no eggs, medium spicy and Thai iced tea, both well-made. Hubby wasn't hungry so he didn't order anything, but he also loved what I got after tasting it. I came here a few months ago with my DD and her friend. Service and quality of food has been pretty consistent.

What a cute Thai restaurant! Please support this local business! The atmosphere here is very warm and relaxing. The family that runs this business is SO incredibly sweet and friendly - they have even ran to the door to open it for me walking in. The food is extremely delicious and fresh - My favorite dishes are their fried rice, pad thai and tom yum soup. Some nice-to-knows: The restaurant is BYOB. The restaurant has a limited parking lot (less than 10 spaces), but I have never had a parking issue!

Good, family owned Thai restaurant in Bristol. It doesn't look fancy from the outside or when you walk inside but the food makes up for it. Got the drunken noodles along with a soup both of which were pretty good. Overall good experience and good place for Thai food if in the area.

Vegan Pad Thai: no meat, no eggs, no dairy... no nothing!

They admit their website is confusing: Is it spicey at 1 or 5? I ordered 2 and got a super-spicey meal, even though when I called they said 2 is less spicey than 5. Apparently I had to order "mild" though I didn't notice that on the menu. Beware: the vegan Pad Thai comes with nothing more than noodles and spice: not even any crushed peanuts on top!I if you want veggies, don't select "no meat". Although they listened and explained the faults of their website, there was no offer of the slightest compensation for a bad meal. Overall very disappointing.

Thai Tea with Bubbles - The image shows a transparent plastic cup filled with Thai iced tea, which has an orange-brown color and contains ice cubes and black tapioca pearls at the bottom. A green straw is inserted into the drink, and the cup is placed on a light-colored surface. The background is blurred, indicating an indoor setting.

Ordered chicken yellow curry there was hardly any chicken or vegetables! Very inconsistent now, new ownership needs to up there game!

However, their online menu looked like they served things we would like to eat. We finally ordered it to be delivered. I got the chicken Panang curry and my husband got the chicken teriyaki. They were both delicious! The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The chicken was lean, nice pieces of white meat. The sauces were flavorful and not overly spicy (although you clearly have the option of getting it very very spicy if you'd like). There are several other things on their menu that I would like to try and we will definitely be ordering again. I did see some comments on the serving sizes. While they are smaller than some other places, they are still more than a normal person can eat in one sitting. It's like a meal-prep box plus a cup of rice. I'm quite full and have enough left over for lunch tomorrow.

My fellow diners got yellow curry with chicken, fried pineapple rice, and red curry with crispy chicken and veggie pad Thai. I tried them all and they were all tasty. My duck was perfect. Not greasy, not over cooked, not soggy. I very rarely risk getting the duck outside of Golden Dragon at FW, but here is me being all crazy and out of the box! I'm glad I did. It was very very good. The veggies with it were so fresh and not over steamed (I like them with some crunch!! not soggy fyi) Side note: This is a BYOB place and lucky for us a very nice wine store in literally, NEXT DOOR. 10 feet away. I picked up a bottle of white wine to have with dinner. I will be back most definitely. CHEERS!

It's consistently very good, even though we often trek from our hometown to Bristol, Newport, or Providence for dining. Portsmouth has slim pickings when it comes to quality restaurants--15 Point and Fieldstone's only come to mind. Rocco's used to be on that list, but new ownership makes it a bit of a question mark right now. This place always delivers: a solid menu with a strong emphasis on seafood, a long cocktail list with prices still reasonable for the area ($12-$14), and reliably good service. Portions are generous and the food is consistently well prepared. We split the bacon-wrapped scallops to start, then had duck and a seafood pasta for entrées--both excellent. Highly recommended. And when the weather cooperates, the outdoor dining right on the water is a real bonus.

Our reservation was early enough that we were able to enjoy the gorgeous water views for a little while before the sun set completely. Both the food and service were superb. We each ordered a glass of wine (Relax Riesling for me). We were first served warm, crusty bread and olive oil with roasted garlic cloves. Our appetizers arrived shortly thereafter; we had both ordered the phyllo wrapped baked Brie served with crostini and a dollop of jam. So good and such a large portion that we each brought half home. Again, we each ordered the same for our entrees: a baked half lobster with seafood stuffing, served with a baked sweet potato and asparagus. Despite the amount of food it was so delectable we finished all of it. Dessert was where we differed. My cousin had the Key Lime pie; I had the Beignets, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They weren't true Beignets, more like small cinnamon sugar donuts, but absolutely yummy. Needless to say, we left the restaurant totally sated. We're looking forward to returning in the summer so we can enjoy a meal on their patio overlooking the water. Highly recommended!
