Thus the vision insurance would not pay for it. They took it upon themselves to pull an old medical insurance card that they had on file for me from many years ago. I had a very hard time getting her to send me an actual bill. She just kept calling and harassing me at work. It's been over four months. I had to finally make a trip up there and just pay the money. I will NEVER go back here again.

Had my exam, the dilation lasted about 6 hours after my visit, I had dr Connolly - he was exceptional in diagnosing my cataracts which to me are not that severe yet. However --- for everyone who has a cataract, their strong recommendation is for surgery and doing it as soon as possible. After our exam and prescriptions were provided, they sent us over to an area to schedule our surgery, unknown to us. We were just looking for information about it. First of all, I have been to 2 other doctor offices for my eyes, none pushed surgery, but this place does, there were people ahead of us and after us. The woman who schedules the surgery was very pushy and that to me is unacceptable. So while the staff was very friendly (with the exception of the woman who schedules the surgery) and the exam was exceptional, I had to lower my rating from a 4 star to a 3 since the surgery part was pushed. We are not getting any surgery at this time.

The doctor was asking me about my contacts and i told her about the script. She told me she wanted to get a trial contact to see if i liked it, i had assumed she offered to try to get me to get my contacts from them. After the eye exam the person who does the picking out the frames, she said i had to pay $75 for the contact exam? I told her i didn't get a contact exam just a glasses exam, then i asked about the trial contact the doctor recommended? They told me you don't get the trial contact if i don't get another exam, which i just had done 30 days ago. I said the doctor didn't say anything, she told me about a special picture i could get of my eye for $39 and i did pay that. They didn't acknowledge what i said, disregard my situation. so when i pick up my glasses today, they basically tossed them to me in the box and said "bye!". The first time i picked up my new glasses, they were so nice, they gave a cleaning kit, extra cleaner, a travel kit, then they made sure the glasses fit and were comfortable. This time was much different, i just got the "bye!". So i wish i could go back and take back my praise, it would be that that visit was the anomaly and the poor service is the norm. Very disappointing and won't be back.
