Honestly just not a great wash…read more There are no vacuums, so no way to do any interior that I saw or was offered. The car itself didn't even get clean (see the pictures). This was the Alpine wash, the highest tier wash and it left extremely obvious dirt all around the car, wheeled tires and windows. 30$, two people to tip to "dry" the car, and it's not half as good as other options around. Save your money and find another place to clean your car.

Today I drove over to the car wash to try to talk to someone. No one here and one of the garage doors had come down on a jeep and the jeep bent the door getting out from under it. The door is stuck open . I tried calling to report the door but only getting answering machine. I decided to wait as I figured someone would eventually show up to close the door. It's currently 14 degrees. While I was waiting I watched a truck in another lane get hit by the exit door as he was driving out . He stopped but was stuck in the truck. Another customer n knew how to push the button to raise the door so he could leave.

He was super helpful and understanding. I definitely recommend this car wash for it's great quality and great employees.

Also really great recently was the hose to clean the RV with a high-pressure rinse was damaged and while someone had tried to tape it to repair it, It's still got me all wet soaking from about chest to my feet trying to get my RV clean. The great thing about this is that the next time I came back I think it might've been the next day the hose was repaired I think it was like an actually brand new hose someone stuck on there and it worked great. I went back to them right away because there were some other things I needed to clean outside and when I saw that I just did it and it worked out just as well as it did before. It was just impressive that magic wand did that repair exactly right away it looks like within 24 hours the repair was done and ready to perform. Yes I got a nice RV wash bath but The Magic Wand People made sure it didn't happen again. Five stars for quick action repair and for having that RV wash site on the end of the building that makes it safer to clean RVs, With better access than inside a building.

It costs $2.50 for the first few minutes, but the time seems to go by so fast, you might as well have a few extra quarters in your pocket when you execute an Olympian leap over hoses and sudsy water to slam another coin in before the timer goes out. Sometimes the bay doors don't work to close, but I don't know if I'd want to be washing my car in negative temperatures to warrant using the doors, much less blasting my frozen car with hot water. I'm giving five stars because it's close, convenient, relatively cheap, and for their good customer service. I went there the other day, for a quick rinse and vacuum, and I was tight on time. I fed the last of my quarters into a vacuum machine, and the thing didn't work. I was so irritated, and didn't have time to scrounge for more change. I left a message on the Wand's voicemail letting them know the machine was broken, and I was peeved I lost the last of my quarters! (And, there was no one on the property. Last time a machine ate my quarters, there was a fellow there who kindly helped me out). I was called back the next day. The lady told me she'd send me a new wash card that I could redeem. I was pleasantly surprised I was called back, and that I was getting my money back in token-form, which is fine by me. I'd much rather give my money to a business that listens to customers, and also is a better deal than spending $8.00 to drive through an auto-washer.

Gas stations: not fun to review…read more I drive by this place on the way to work every morning, but, I never stop in. (running it too tight, will probably be late) I made a point to stop in here after work the other day and...this is a pretty respectable gas station. Gas prices are fair. They aren't ripping you off, but I also wouldn't go out of my way for the prices. What makes this gas station great is the inside. They have pretty much everything. Sure, it's mostly "gas station food", but the have one of the largest selections of "gas station food" I've ever seen. They have a whole aisle of beef jerky, a whole wall of coffee, a whole cabinet of baked goods, etc. Other bonuses: - they have free air! (for your tires) - they sell firewood! (great to pickup in town before a weekend of camping/cabining) - they have lots of frozen food if you're too lazy to go to a full-on grocery store, but motivated enough to leave your house

It is happening more often than usual especially at the 5501 Debarr Road Station Store. 24/7 self-serve car washes are hard to find. Most of them have become so automated anymore…read more This place serves a great purpose. It was the first place I went to when we arrived in Anchorage after having driven some 2500 miles on the Alcan. We rolled into town in the wee hours of the am...and of course it was still light LMAO as we arrived on July 1. Hubs tried to convince me to wait until later in the day but I couldn't bear looking at the car anymore, and I tend to be most active at times when most women wouldn't be caught dead going out alone. So they got deposited at our new rental and I took off to go clean my vehicle. I had to find a place that stayed open 24/7 with the old school hoses you can spray at your leisure because the entire car and bikerack with bikes on board were freaking caked in mud. It was gross, and I love my car to look nice. So thanks to Yelp, I found this place! Took forever to make my car and bike rack look remotely normal again, but it did get the job done. Wish there were more like this one. This place is apparently in one of the ickier parts of town so I'm told, but nothing up here fazes me for squat since I grew up in Southern California where the constant heat and beating sun can make people exceptionally dickbaggy and more inclined to commit crimes lol. I never feel unsafe anywhere up here. Maybe that's presumptuous lol. One of the best features it has is that you can just stick your debit/credit card into the machine to start the timer and keep going without having to worry about it timing out right in the middle of a heavy suds or rinse. Prices are fairly reasonable as far as car washes go. There is also a drying function you can use, although I never use them at these places. All supplies you might need can be found here if you forget your cleaner etc. There are also vacuums available.
