Will, the owner, and Roberta, helped me out after their new high pressure wash system (seriously AMAZING) took my back license plate half off because the screws on it were loose Will screwed it back on himself using screws from his own shop, and is giving me a free wash in the future, which is SO above and beyond, like??? This place is old school in a GOOD way; they really care about every customer that goes through, and genuinely just want you to have a great experience. The actual car wash was also more fun (new lighting and better soap as well?) and did an incredible job; my car looks gorgeous. This is a local business worth going out of your way to support. 15 June 2024 @ 1245 This is nothing special in the context of a car wash. It is simply an automated car wash, which unfortunately doesn't live up to it's promises. I would've maybe given this a 3 star, if the wash had even worked correctly the first time. Depending on which door you go in to, the technology present will differ. Door 4 provided us a car washing experience from the 90's, and didn't even work correctly. It took about 10 seconds for the wash to break and it had me backing up and going forward continuously without washing anything for about 2 minutes before it let me out. Thankfully, the employees were kind enough to fix the issue and allow me to actually get my car washed, the only reason this gets anything above a 1 star. Even with the technology working, there's still parts of my car left unwashed. I ordered the Monster +Rainx wash for $20 (the highest option), and if it had washed the whole car, then maybe it would've been worth it. If you do come, do not expect anything caked on your vehicle to come off, don't expect to get the same experience as others (each bay provides a different experience), go through slowly so you don't mess up the machine, and bring dollar bills or coins if you want to vacuum your car. Overall, I personally won't be going here again; however, if I had a junker of a car and wanted to get a quick inexpensive wash, then maybe I would come back to get a mediocre and cheap wash quickly. read more

I don't think there's a better place in Anchorage, but I do think this place could be a smidgen better with regard to the auto wash. It's definitely worth it to pay the extra $2 for the manual Deluxe wash. If you have a lot of bugs on your car, the auto was will not remove all their sticky guts. The machine does a good job with winter and summer dirt though, we haven't had any big streaks like some places. If you get the DELUXE wash- don't forget to tip your attendant- those guys work really hard and do a good job. read more

They do a good wash. They have a dog wash station, but a little on the higher cost. I like that they have an employee in the front who does a prewash and wets the car down before going in. They have a lot of bays. If you aren't happy with the way your truck came out, you can let them know and they will send you through again. Friendly service. read more

The most expensive wash of the 4 options is $16, which is pretty cheap by Alaska standards. The best part is this is a 24 hour self-serve operation. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Clear instructions and 4-5 lanes to keep you moving along. My only gripe is you get a 60 second countdown for the drier but my car definitely could have been a little less wet leaving the lot. read more

This is the place to go if you enjoy paying for half a car wash, and then enjoy being treated like an idiot when you call the number to complain. This is the second time that I've brought my vehicle there and had to run through the car wash multiple times. Despite several areas of dirt left behind, they act like it's unbelievable and it must be your fault. This last time I was told they would run me through again, but don't expect their machine to get the dirt off of my car because it's a "film of some kind". Second run though did get it off. My car didn't get close to being cleaned in their touchless wash and when I complained about it I was told that it was my fault because I wouldn't let them hand wash it first, and instead opted for just the tunnel wash. I opted for their top of the line wash and it did not include all the pre-rinsing and other cycles as advertised. I would not go back there under any circumstances read more

The vehicle was caked in dirt and probably hadn't been washed in a year. He spent at least 10 minutes scrubbing it before I went through the automated portion. The employee was entertaining too, singing and dancing as he cleaned, clearly enjoying his time. I gave him a tip before heading on and am beyond pleased with the service! This location has five drive-thru bays, one of which is for more premium washes. There are plenty vacuums available in front. During my last visit, the baybi was waiting for malfunctioned (or maybe it was user error by the driver in front of me, who knows), which resulted in a long wait. The attendent comped me and the other customers a free wash though, which was nice. This place can get busy so be prepared to wait during peak times. read more

This car wash is conveniently located on Dimond Blvd between my home and most places I frequent. As other Yelpers have mentioned, this car wash has an adequate amount of bays so even on sunny days when the lines are long, things move pretty quickly. I've never had to get assistance by an attendant, which is what I prefer. It's about $16-17 for the most expensive wash option. Our vehicle always leaves thoroughly clean. We're always able to utilize Monster Washs' vacuums without any issues as well. Highly recommend this car wash for a thorough stress free experience. read more

Got excited after reading Angela M.'s review, and decided to give this place a try. Arrival happened a bit late, once the attendees had hit the road. Not the best idea, since the money machine wouldn't take a perfectly fine 10 dollar bill and gave change out for a 20 in dollar coins. You know, those coins that the cashiers wrinkle their nose up at. I should have taken a picture because the entire back end of the car was skipped. How does that even happen? Upon calling, the situation was fixed the following morning (UGH- morning!) with a free re-do, manual scrub and all. Super nice service, but you gotta go through the extra effort sometimes, and that can really suck. (I'm sticking with my neighborhood Alaska Laser Wash. They've already gotten me well trained over there.) Re: Monster Wash, I was tickled to see a woman washing her dog in the pet washing station. I thought that was pretty darn cool. Best car wash to get the road film off your vehicle. I've tried a lot of different car washes in the Anchorage area this by far is best. My truck hasn't had a shine out of a car wash in a while. I got the $16 wash (the best one) so I expected good results. I dont usually notice bad results when I go here but when I was done with the wash I walked around my car with one of the rags they had posted outside and i was extremely disappointed. There was dirt everywhere still. Streaks all over the sides. Dirt still caked on everywhere on the back. Not worth $16 to basically get your car wet. If you go during work hours (I was there about 1:30-2:10) expect to take a half hour or more to get into the wash due to long lines. Not worth the wait either. read more

The workers are always friendly and helpful. Touchless car wash. They are 24 hours so if you have a very early morning or a late night and it's something you keep forgetting on your list to get the winter buildup off, you can! The access is confusing because it appears they share access with the gas station but actually they don't! Just watch the for the egress/ingress signs. I suggest you have a few of your own soft towels to wipe off your car so you don't have the streaks after because they don't have the bucket of the towels out. There's nothing like thinking your car has been cleaned and there is still the winter buildup left that the water sprays can't get to. read more

Located on Diamond just across from Fred Myers, this newly built car wash can handle RV's and larger vehicles that won't fit in other nearby car washes. It's a bit more expensive than others but it seems to do a better job at removing that layer of muck that gets on our cars during breakup. read more

I started going to Monster Wash shortly after I bought my current SUV that has custom after-market parts on it. As a result, I can't got through anything but a touchless in town. I used to go through their regular auto wash and get the Monster Wash with RainX for $16.00 But then I discovered the Touchless Tunnel where their staff begins the wash by going over your vehicle with a pre-soak chemical, wheel cleaner and a very thorough power wash. For the extra $4.00, I found it was highly worth, it as I don't have to go through a standard wash a couple of times to get all the dirt off my SUV from my road trips. One trip through the Touchless Tunnel pretty much does it for me. Like most car washes, I find their 90HP blower system doesn't always dry my car completely. So I just pull into one of the vacuum bays and spend the extra 10-15 minutes drying it off. I'm always left with a vehicle that looks like it was just professionally detailed afterwards. While the regular wash bays are open 24/7, with the Touchless Tunnel the hours are more limited. Only open 9:00 - 5:00 p.m, though they are open 7 days a week. Monster Wash is definitely an out of the way trip for me since I live way across town. But for a satisfied outcome I have had on my vehicle compared to other laser / touchless washes in town, I find the few extra miles quite worth it. read more

I've been to a lot of carwashes throughout Anchorage and monster wash has always done a great job. I enjoy the personalize customer service when you go through the bay where the attendant. The pre-wash that the attendant does makes all the difference in the world. Monster wash seems to be the best wash for your money that I have been able to find. This place is fantastic!! Our truck had a little trouble getting fully clean due to the deicers that are sprayed all over the road so when I called and spoke to the gentleman who worked there he took care of us without any problem. They were super professional and helpful and now our truck looks like new! For everyone that says their car wasn't fully clean, you can't expect a touch less wash that's machine run to fully clean your vehicle. Even though our truck had some issues, Ive yet to find any place that does a touch less job as thorough as this. I only come here for 2 reasons. 1. They do a very nice job with the touchless offering for truck wash. 2. They have Will! This guy is down right one of the most genuine guys I've met. Always asks how my day is, how my week has been, etc. He not only puts the sparkle and shine on my F-350, Will provides detailed service and goes above and beyond for a personal and professional experience to a sometimes mundane chore. He's very thorough and does a very good job at getting to the tires and the annoying spots that get missed in a regular car wash. I go in the wash bay where he scrubs it down and sprays it down first before I get the wash. There's businesses around town that could use guys like him, wish there were more out there. Whenever it's time to clear off the dirt and grime from all of the winter travel, this is the only place you can trust to get it presentable again.
