It's a small property, with four stalls, and a few vacuuming machines with one upholstery cleaner. It's nothing too fancy, and the trash cans look like they have been hit a few times by careless drivers. It costs $2.50 for the first few minutes, but the time seems to go by so fast, you might as well have a few extra quarters in your pocket when you execute an Olympian leap over hoses and sudsy water to slam another coin in before the timer goes out. Sometimes the bay doors don't work to close, but I don't know if I'd want to be washing my car in negative temperatures to warrant using the doors, much less blasting my frozen car with hot water.
I'm giving five stars because it's close, convenient, relatively cheap, and for their good customer service. I went there the other day, for a quick rinse and vacuum, and I was tight on time. I fed the last of my quarters into a vacuum machine, and the thing didn't work. I was so irritated, and didn't have time to scrounge for more change. I left a message on the Wand's voicemail letting them know the machine was broken, and I was peeved I lost the last of my quarters! (And, there was no one on the property. Last time a machine ate my quarters, there was a fellow there who kindly helped me out). I was called back the next day. The lady told me she'd send me a new wash card that I could redeem. I was pleasantly surprised I was called back, and that I was getting my money back in token-form, which is fine by me. I'd much rather give my money to a business that listens to customers, and also is a better deal than spending $8.00 to drive through an auto-washer. read more
