. I was searching for a different restaurant and gave up. Thought I would just drive through, and then realized that I could actually go into this cute little nostalgic find. So cute- what a wonderful place to take a late night date or your family. Crazy thing is that you can get a hotdog at 10 o'clock in the morning.

Really cool spot! Had never been here before and was driving around and found it. I was told that this place used to be a shack back in the day and have since expanded. The drive-thru is the only way you can get orders in now, which led for a very confusing line. There was a gentleman that was taking orders as the line went by which helped speed it up. I hope they open the in-restaurant dining soon as it was just dangerous the way cars were coming in their lot. Hot dogs were good. Nothing spectacular that I'd write home about, but can totally appreciate an old fashioned place that has kept up with the times and been around for decades.

Tomlinson's aka the Greeks is an institution. They started in 1935 at Seaside Park and have been in there current location well before I was ever born. They used to be a small little shack of a hotdog stand and then in 1999 they converted over the the big upgraded full size building they are in now. So I have been going here since I was a kid and they were just a little shack of a place and the quality has always was has brought me back. In a world where McDonald's has served 100 billion people it's nice to know there is still a place like Tomlinson that is about the same price that can give you quality burgers and dogs. Real food, huge portions, and super reasonable prices. From the 1st time I ate here I knew I would be a customer for life. These guys make the most amazing burgers, dogs, and now these southwest fries they have a mind blowing. The only question is can you finish the meal the put in front of you? But the taste is so next, next level I'm sure you will eat as much as your body will allow. If your ever in the area do yourself the favor and experience this culinary masterpiece for yourself. Simply put its simple American Food done to the best level humanly possible. Thank you guys and on YES I WILL BE BACK.

Oh yum! This is my first time trying this place and since covid has the dining room closed I decided to wait in the drive thru line which was super long. If anything the long line made me want to try it more. The line moved along quickly, I got a hot dog, cheeseburger and curly fries. All were so good and fresh, I wish I had ordered a large curly fries because I wanted more. The place has parking and service was good. I plan on coming here often! Oh and the prices can't be beat, all of those items cost me $8.50. It's a very popular spot for a reason.

    Complete wrong burgers!

After dropping off my laptop, I got in my car and drove towards the Raising Cane's in Milford. Upon arriving towards the business the street to even enter into Raising Cane's is a hassle. It's a very busy intersection if you end up missing the turn on the main road. Upon entering this business, I was greeted by a young lady at the register and she was already very friendly, I gave my order and I went to go fill up my cup that I got with my "The Box" Combo. After that I sat down and waited for my food, It was a couple minutes but one of the workers was sweeping around the store so I sparked a conversation with them saying that I used to work fast food so I completely understand that they are just trying to keep the place nice and clean as the worker told me prior that she whipped everything down which I enjoyed. After that I was called up but my food wasn't there, so I just waited at the counter and the young lady that was on the register apologized to me about the inconvenience and I basically nodded and understood and let her know it's alright. As im waiting for my food to be given to me, I notice how the kitchen moves, the communication is a little lack luster which is unfortunate because I remember going to a Raising Cane's in Pennsylvania and the communication was on fire in that place. I feel like im giving them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened up recently in Milford. I was given my food and I went to sit down. Fries were cooked very well and crunchy for crinkle cut, which I enjoyed, a little salty but it was good when I dipped it in the signature Cane's sauce (Listen, hands down, best sauce out there). The texas toast was delicious as always and the chicken was decently cooked, one of which was a little hard to chew, but I had 3 good pieces which I couldn't complain about. Overall, I give this place a go around again and I will be returning when I come back to receive my laptop. Whoever actually had time to read this whole review, please please give this place a try, I know they just opened but just remember Connecticut never had a Raising Cane's so enjoy it while its there, the good reviews will potentially make Raising Cane's build more places around Connecticut, so try them out! -AJ

Like a great Popeye's place but just tenders only. Iz'm not a 12 year old who wants chicken tenders all the time and willing to wait 30min for fast food in line. I've watched this place evolve over the years,& the improvements are seriously impressive. The biggest surprise was the fries. They used to be just ok, but now they're crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed w/ flavor. I couldn't stop eating them! The chicken wings has changed too, and in the best way possible. It's perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor in every bite. You can def tell they've elevated the quality of their food! Their burgers deserve a huge shout-out too. They're much bigger & juicier than they used to be, and switching from a sesame seed bun to a soft potato bun was a gr8 move. It made the burger even better. Their new special sauce tied everything together & added so much flavor. Every bite was messy in the best way, & I loved every second of it. I stopped by for a late-night snack, and every single thing I ordered was absolutely delicious & fresh. It's not often you see a neighborhood spot improve this much after so many years, but they really did. One thing I've always appreciated is the customer service. Even after all these years, the staff is still friendly, welcoming, & always jokes around w/ me whenever I pull through the drive-thru. Those little interactions make me look forward to coming back just as much as the food. They're drive-thru only now, but that's no prob for me. Thank you for continuing to serve amazing food & for always treating your customers so well! After 19 years, I'm still a loyal customer, & I'll def be back for many more late-night cravings! Growing up in a home with three sisters, Voll had several years experience of working in the kitchen as well as her parents' food establishments. After graduating with a degree in finance, Voll came up with an idea to open her own eatery. After some experimentation with her sisters in their parents' kitchen, it was decided that Voll's comfort food eatery would be exclusively dedicated to macaroni & cheese: a dish that most people have grown up with. The first Mac N' Out opened up at the Interstate 95 Northbound service center in Darien, with a standalone location opening in Milford the following month. The menu features at least 20 varieties of macaroni & cheese (from traditional to Mediterranean to Mexican) as well as "mac munchies", "mac wraps" and "Mac salads". Following the success of the first two locations, a take-out only location opened in Bridgeport in 2015. As of 2026, only the Milford location is still operating. I recently visited Mac N' Out with my younger son while we were in the area. It just so happens that my younger son's favorite food is Mac & cheese, so he was delighted to have lunch at an eatery that exclusively serves the classic comfort dish. We were so overwhelmed by all of the different toppings and flavor varieties. My son ordered the kid's portion of "Grandma's Mac" (white cheddar & American cheese), which came with apple slices and juice. I ended up ordering the "Fourth of July Mac" (Hummel Beef Franks, applewood bacon & cheddar cheese). This combo was very nostalgic for me, as my mother frequently made Mac & cheese with cut up Hummel hot dogs for me when I was a little boy. Both dishes were served to us still simmering in miniature cast iron skillets. The mac & cheese is very hot when it comes to you, but it's so delicious! I paired up my dish with a bottle of Foxon Park White Birch Beer. My son and I had a great experience at Mac N' Out and we would love to return to the future. There are so many more combos that we need to try!

Trying to stay safe and basic, ordered the plain macaroni and cheese, so I can get a baseline. I also ordered a fountain drink. With the tip it was $15 and change. I took a seat after filling up my fountain drink, and waited about 10 minutes for the mac & cheese As I'm waiting for my order, a Scooby Doo cartoon is playing on the not needed television in my left ear. From my right ear, I'm listening to the staff worker in the kitchen singing to what sounds like Italian music. Could've been Spanish music. A little bit disturbing, as the music and the worker were both quite loud Within 10 minutes, my order arrives. The cast-iron pan with the macaroni and cheese in it, a couple of napkins, and a fork. Now I may be old school, or maybe I'm missing something. Why can't this restaurant serve the food with a plate and a spoon for serving out of the cast-iron pan? I'm getting older. I'm not in college or high school anymore eating food out of a cast-iron pan. I actually like to sit down and enjoy a plated meal, whether at home or out paying good money. The only exception I could see would be grinders. But I want a plate here! And if you're gonna serve it in a cast-iron pan, I want a spoon. I was expecting a flashback to the awful mac & cheese I had last time I was here. Instead, I got a very creamy cheesy sauce and an almost al dente elbow macaroni. The serving was generous in the small cast-iron pan. I did find myself using salt and pepper, as I didn't taste any seasoning at all other than the breadcrumbs on top that I mixed in, with this order So I'm gonna stand with four stars, even though I almost want to give it another three. Thank you to the gracious server, without you, it would've been back to three stars. In closing, I drove an hour and almost 20 minutes down to retry this place. I went out of my way..... For future reference, for in door dining guests, it really would be nice to serve plates with the mac & cheese, and the cast-iron pan and maybe over a pot holder. A serving spoon is a must if you're gonna share this dish with somebody. Anybody older than college age will appreciate the plate or bowl to enjoy this meal from... trust me
