This place isn't a drive-in type of diner; it's a biological hazard. The fish was a flavorless texture nightmare that would make the Gorton's Fisherman file a restraining order, and the fries arrived cold, soggy, and depressed. Between the shriveled "hot dog" that was 90% bun, the instant potatoes, and the coleslaw served in literal hospital pill cups, I wasn't sure if I was getting dinner or being med-evaced. They even managed to screw up the pancakes, which is impressive, considering they're essentially griddle-fried flour. A filthy, tasteless disaster. Well, here we go! Bill's Drive In, is a nice little spot, Menu board was outdated and vintage, giving an old school vibe. But everything was clean. Ordered the breakfast special sandwich which included; Georgia Hot, two fried eggs, hash brown & topped with American cheese, all these items were sandwiched between a toasted Porteguese Roll. Great sandwich. The Georgia Hot (which is usually very spicy) was split and deep fried and finished on the grill which tamed some of the heat! On top of that was two fried eggs, over well, break the yolk, layered with two slices of American Cheese! To finish the sandwich was the toasted hash brown. The Portuguese Roll held the sandwich together (it really didn't need to be toasted; personal opinion). Taking a bite of the sandwich, you get a spicy bite of the GH, then eggs and creamy melted cheese; mellowing the spicy & smoky notes of the sausage and then the crunchy bite of the hash brown completed between the soft roll of goodness. Yummy. I will rate this sandwich with a 4.50 out of 5 stars. It's a well thought out sandwich. The price of the sandwich was $9.68, which was on the verge of the pricy side of goodness. It's a huge, meaty & cheesy sandwich which you cannot eat more than half at a time, wait awhile, then polish off the other half later! It's really was worth the trip. Ok now for the Morning Glory muffin which the cashier (whom was friendly, pleasant and accommodating) suggested that I have it toasted with butter! It was on the small side for $3.00 but it tasted better than it looked with the slightly burnt edges! The mixture of carrots, nuts and little chunks of nastiness was worth it (in my humble opinion). Stopped in to meet a few friends. Bill's has a cool retro vibe. The place was incredibly clean and bright, and with little knick knacks/collectibles, memorabilia and photos throughout. The menu has so many options, including daily specials. You can order anything on the menu antime of the day! Soups are made in house. Staff were very friendly, courteous and seemed to care a lot about this place and all customers. Thanks Nico! I very much enjoyed my baja fish sandwich for lunch and took home a delicious roast beef sandwich with gravy on a toasted hard roll for later. We brought another friend an egg and bacon sandwich on a hard roll and she raved about it! I will most definitely return for gyro which I am told is magically delicious. I need to start out saying, that it hurts me to leave a one star and need to write this review. But to get to here, we gotta go back a bit. It was 1998, my first job. I got to work at Bills, which by then had expanded to include the indoor dining area and was being run by the second owners. They had expanded the menu to include breakfast and Greek items aside just the Gyro. The food always came out quick but it was made with quality. As the owners had been in the food game a long time and ran Bills like a Diner. Fast but good. The vibe was always on point because aside the dining room, the front counter had stools looking out the huge front window. Old school feel that isn't easily found. Fast forward to current day with the new owners. Not just the food, but the atmosphere has changed. Gone are the stools, so now you just gotta stand ( especially if you ordered ahead or need to wait to go ) What used to be the spot for local news, events, so on, is now solely for their merch. The menu grew by a lot, which to me hurt what they already had going on ( which was a lot ) Prices increased and quality went down, which to me is never a good sign. I have no issues paying if the quality and service are right. For decades I went into Bills and it felt like home, always someone saying Hi, being friendly. Last time I was there, I felt like I didn't belong, and didn't get a very warm reception. I want Bills back to what it was, but maybe that is just wishful thinking. read more

Have been coming here about two years consistently. I am here Monday through Friday and sometimes Saturdays. I always love the breakfast and how they can modify anything on the menu. The employees work very hard and are super polite and willing to please. Always greeted with a smile and they have my beverage ready when I walk in. I feel like I'm Norm from Cheers. My kids absolutely love this place and my father enjoys it too. Overall a great place to stop and enjoy some food. I have never been here for lunch or dinner but their options look vast. During Covid I guess the experience is different here I was just happy they were open My family got strawberry and chocolate shakes which were delicious are super big. UPDATE: About time to do an update..I have been here several times since my first review and have new pics. So I like this place. But I like em better for breakfast then lunch or dinner. I was not wild about their fried clams and do not think I'd get them again. These are clam STRIPS..not whole belly clams. I do however love their breakfasts. I always have. Their bacon is so crispy and good. And my dad's a fan! He loves their egg sandwich. I am not much of an egg eater but it does look good. Food's out fast and it seems clean and is quiet. But the best thing is and has been their value. Bill's is so affordable and that is such a nice thing. They give good size portions too so you get lots of food for your buck! I think this place is pretty sold for what it is. It is an affordable counter service diner. They have all the basic classics plus dinner specials. Not much selection this side of town and this is the place to go for a pretty quick bite in comfortable surroundings. They are better priced and better quality than the only fast food place. You are not going to get a fancy steakhouse burger here but they aren't trying for that either. Bills is a local favorite of mine so I come here pretty often. I got the western egg sandwich on their signature bun with the hash brown of course and it was so good. Honestly? Since the buyout, McDonald's is a better option. With burger patties so thin you can read the paper through, to the dirty booths, this honestly has gone downhill. The previous owners had it made. Now? Nobody goes there anymore and its apparent why. Just drove by, 7pm on a weekday night. Zero, I repeat ZERO cars there. Cant say I blame people for eating elsewhere. This place needs an upgrade in food, decor which makes no sense together (framed paintings of houses and baskets, and retro coke signs?).. When the new manager is there, it's almost unbearable. I'm every weekend at Bill's with my boyfriend and we're used to like there. Today I decided to go by myself, and as I finish my other and turned my back I heard "you look pretty today".
