The worst experience Ive ever had at a dealership. The financing guy and those in the title department gave us the wrong instructions on a titling issue. They hounded us to get it fixed while telling us the wrong things to do. My wife and I (with two small kids we need to tote around) still have not been able to register 9 months in to our lease! Eventually this place was taken to court for selling our trade in without getting the title fixed. AJ Roush and Steve Reynolds offered no help, knowing all of this took place. They showed zero remorse and even held my registration up longer by not giving my wife and I the basic docs until we drove 45 minutes there and back to Westfield to pay a tax. Never do business with this company. I look forward to my lease being over so I can get away from this place. I will never do business with them again. read more

On 10/06/25, I purchased a 24 certified used Miata RF with remaining new car warranty and not "AS IS". During test drive, Marvin, the sales person, knew nothing concerning the vehicle. Specifically, when asked, Marvin advised there was no method to raise the vehicle top if there was a malfunction. Also, neither a manual nor a jack kit was included. During the purchase, Marvin advised only one key fob was available and was unaware of any backup metal key. A second key fob had to be negotiated along with a backup key for both fobs. In addition, a vehicle manual and jack kit were negotiated and provided approximately one week later. Also, during the purchase inspection, the left turn signal operated intermittently and part of the vehicle interior passenger door grip was missing, both subsequently repaired. Also, during purchase, finance person was unaware of any financing required and the vehicle was a certified used vehicle with a remaining new car warranty. This required preparing all new documents. After reviewing the vehicle manual, it was discovered there was a method to raise and close the vehicle top with a specific kit, plus illustration of a complete jack kit. Marvin and Scott, Manager, used vehicles, was contacted. Both refused request for both, even after being advised the vehicle was certified used with part of a new vehicle warranty. Scott admitted the manual top kit was included with new vehicles, but he would have to contact someone to resolve the issue and would contact me. After not being contacted during following weeks, I attempted to contact Scott. Multiple telephone messages were left, but Scott never responded to messages. Scott was telephonically contacted two to three times. During conversation, he was unable to provide an answer and promised to contact me at a later. Last contact with Scott/sales manager was 11/12/2025, when I had to contact him. Scott advised he would contact me today (11/13/2025) to resolve these issues. So far, no contact. To date, no one from Roush Mazda has contacted me to provide an answer to requests. On 11/24/25, telephone receptionist advised AJ Roush Dealership Manager, should be contacted concerning unresponsiveness and subsequently left a message for AJ Roush. To date, no response. read more

I came in today to purchase a key for my 2014 mazda 3. I was expecting to spend $200-300, but the price was nearly $500 out the door not including tax. I definitely was a little price shocked, but i understand that the parts and service department do not set the pricing so I went ahead and decided to proceed with the sale. This is when I met their service advisor Jon Shreve. He asked if I had my original key, and he proceeded to take it apart and bend a couple of pins back into place, and the fob worked perfectly. Integrity such as this is rare in today's world, and I truly appreciate both Jon putting the customer first, and the culture that has been established at Tom Rouch Mazda that allows for this. Most service departments would have just proceeded to make the $500 sale and not make any impact on my day. I can say that I've never been to this dealership before and I live an hour away. But I do own a local business that employs roughly 70 people and not only will I make it a point to make sure that I spend my money here in the future, I will encourage my team members to do business with a company that shares our core values! Worst experience ever. I took my used car in for a check engine light diagnosis (waste of money; Tom Roush charges $150+ tax while local mechanics will check for free) and was told my car would need almost $2000 in repairs (coming out to 1/3 of the value of the vehicle). I ran this by two local mechanics who told me this diagnosis was completely false as the code on my check engine light was for an emissions issue, which the other mechanic proceeded to take care of free of charge. Do not waste your time and money at Tom Roush, especially if you are young / a woman, because dealers like this one will try to take advantage of individuals appearing naive in the auto industry. read more

Tom Roush is the worst!!!! Never take your car here! After two visits in a week my car was still not fixed properly. I originally went in because my AT light came on and it was something my usual mechanic told me only the dealership could take care of and then they didn't even have the parts, having to order them and keep my car longer. After spending $2700 to take care of the repair we pick up my car and the AT light comes back on. We take the car back in and they tell us bricks had been shoved in to stabilize the battery and it had caused damage, another $700 repair. After a week we finally get the car back to find that the car is running louder, idles harder, sometimes has a little resistance when shifting to 5th gear, and they had put the bricks back in. When I call to ask why the bricks were put back in I am given the reason of because it would have cost more to get a battery that fits put in and that they put a dampener in by the bricks but it would wear out or cause a fire eventually if I don't replace the battery. Rather than talk to me about the battery and giving me the option to replace it they just chose to go the route that would end up making me spend way more. After this frustration with them I decide since the battery is an easy fix to go to my cousin for help with this, and thank goodness I did! My cousin was able to fix the battery problem CORRECTLY real quick and for completely free. The battery the prior owner put in was a battery that worked for my car that came with a piece of plastic to stabilize it in vehicles where it was a small fit, and they had never put it in. Since it's not a required piece the auto shop gave it to my cousin for free. There is no reason I should have had to of gone through this much trouble with Tom Roush, and I am very unhappy. Their communication was poor. They were much of an inconvenience with my time (being over half an hour away), my job, and mine and my boyfriends overall life during the two week period of dealing with them. I feel like they caused and I came out with more problems than going in (all other problems still existing) leaving me feeling ripped off and not treated well. read more

Went to test drive a used Acura at Tom Roush - I liked the car and decided to negotiate the purchase. Normally I would only buy a used car after a thorough check but I was informed by the sales guy that the car had been fully checked out and "FULLY SERVICED" with new fluids. Maybe the sales person meant to be honest but he said repeatedly the car was serviced when it was acquired, had been up on the hoist, all fluids changed, blah, blah, blah. I took them at their word and paid more than I normally would have without their assurance on the servicing. My mistake, I guess. My first clue should have been on the way home when I barely made it home on the little gas left in the tank. Figuring it was cheap insurance, I changed the oil to Mobil synthetic the next weekend and discovered the oil in the engine was FILTHY. The oil filter was clearly not close to new. The air filter was FILTHY (see one of my profile pics - a picture says a thousand words). I exchanged voicemails with a manager over the issue but it's been over a week now and haven't heard back. Couldn't recommend Tom Roush because of this experience. read more

I just got my vehicle back after leaving it for service with Tom Roush Mazda 3 weeks ago. They did a poor job diagnosing the problem and had to add additional parts and labor to the original quote before they got it fixed, including a brake line they damaged in the process. For a week they told me they "were still bleeding the brakes." The amount they charged for parts was significantly inflated, even when compared to other dealers selling the same factory Mazda parts. There was very poor communication and a lot of confusion throughout the repair. Even though they eventually provided a free loaner while they finished the work, simply put I will never go back there again. read more

Just bought a brand new cx9 from Marco! My husband and I had a great experience! My husband was in the car business for several years so we were not looking forward to the sales process and The typical hustle that you expect. To our surprise we were treated very fairly and didn't feel like we were pressured in anyway. We feel like we got a really fair deal. The manager came out to speak with us and was very friendly as well. We will definitely recommend this place and come back in the future! Update: The service department SUCKS. Extremely disorganized & disrespectful! We called and set up an appointment to test drive a used car. When we got there no one had any idea what was going on. STRIKE ONE! Finally got the car we were supposed to test drive ready to go, which was good, since we had our 4 year old granddaughter in tow. Took it for a spin and it was okay for what we were looking for. Had our loan approved before we went and my partner had already figured out what he was willing to pay after the test-drive. The used car man we were dealing with had to check it with his boss. ...came back and said, no. That was fine but then the boss came out. Perry told him what he was willing to pay, based on his own calculations. The boss wanted to know what he based them on and Perry told him he had his own calculations. I do not believe we are required to share how the amount we are willing to pay is decided. Boss LOUDLY called Perry RUDE as he walked away! I am sure everyone in the showroom witnessed that display of disrespect. STRIKE TWO! So we got up and walked out. Just because he doesn't want to share with you how he came to the price he is offering for the car does not constitute your being rude! What I consider RUDE & UNCALLED FOR is thinking you can speak to a customer like that in front of others! STRIKE THREE! I have leased two brand new Mazda's from there and I can 100% guarantee I will NEVER do business there again! This dealership as well as Corporate is not taking responsibility for faulty parts in their CX-9's. Last year I paid $6700 for a new transmission and this year a water pump built by Ford failed causing the engine to overheat and I found 600 others this has happened to and that there is a class action suit out against Mazda who won't order a recall on the water pump til its ordered in court. I am a part of the class action now too. Sad a company won't do the right thing for its customers safety. Sad this dealer made me pay $5000 deposit and that the expected repairs will run me $8500 only after informing me $7-7500 in order to obtain a credit card for $5K down. Didn't appreciate the price gauging treatment! The car couldn't get up to speed on the road when the water pump failed without any warning light til it was too late and that could have been very dangerous to the driver stuck in the middle of the road. Please be leery of buying any Mazda with this type of customer treatment! read more

Honestly, I can understand that attitude. The guy has been there 30 years, knows the vehicles inside and out, and has to interact every day with idiots who don't know an alternator from a disc brake. Incredible service from Matt at the Service desk - the add-on's would take a full day of work for the service dept - Matt provided me with a rental car (no expense to me!) so I wouldn't have to sit in the lobby from for hours. Most of us have plenty of horror stories about car dealerships, right? I'm pleased to say that our experience at Tom Roush has been a breath of fresh air. We bought a used Miata as a third car back in the early summer and though this vehicle was a true "find" with ultra-low miles and in tip-top physical condition, we had a minor issue with one of its sensors. Unfortunately, it was one that, when not working, meant the car would stall. We had to undergo two tow-ins as the first repair didn't quite address the proper sensor. During both instances, the staff was very understanding and patient - naturally we were frustrated - and on the 2nd instance, we didn't have to pay a dime for repairs. This seems like the obvious thing to do since the first repair missed the mark, but we honestly expected to have to argue the matter - we did not! Our salesperson, Jack Cummings, has been pleasant to work with and we are now considering making another purchase with him. Buying a vehicle is something we're all faced with occasionally, so it sure is nice to have a dealer you actually like to do business with. read more

Have purchased 2 vehicles since November. Tried to use our credit union the first time. The said they could meet their rate after they presented a rate almost 50% higher. Second time, we were pre approved from credit union. Husband went to sign paperwork. The had a different bank listed..and a much higher finance rate. They just wanted my husband to sign. Husband refused. He went to credit union to get loan through them. There was a discrepancy between the amount the Tom Rouch financial guy listed vs the credit union. The amount was higher at the dealership. They were charging more for Gap Insurance. Be prepared and be pre approved! read more

I went to Tom Roush yesterday to have service done on my car since I haven't had anything other than oil changes and tire rotations done since 30k miles. I got there at 8:15am right on the dot on Saturday morning... I live in Fishers so it's quite a drive and I'm not a morning person so this was a HUGE accomplishment. I checked in and discussed what I thought I was needing- just for them to look over everything and I knew I needed an oil change. He quoted me at about $800.... ok, it's a lot but for not having much done over the last 5 years, I understood. He also offered me a complimentary car wash! Yay! I told him I had to leave by 11:15 since I had a hair appointment. He said, that should work. I waited in the waiting area which is very nice for a car dealership.... coffee, bottled water, comfy chairs, tables and chairs, computers, a place to charge your phone, vending machines, a separate place for children to play... very impressive. I brought some studying with me and worked on that and listened to music. Around 10:15, the guy came over and told me I also needed new brakes and rotars.... durnit! He said it would be about another $400 but he was going to give me a loaner car since it wouldn't be done until this afternoon. I really appreciated that! I took the loaner and went on with my day and while I was in the middle of my hair appointment later in the day, they called me and told me I had to be there by 3, it was 2 and would take my a half an hour to get there! Uh oh! My hairstylist quickly dried my hair.... luckily, she was flexible and was able to make it so I could come back later and get my hair cut. I drove over to the dealership... the guy went over everything and I paid. He took me to my car and I left. The ONLY thing I was disappointed with was, I didn't get the car wash I was told I would get :( otherwise, everything went smoothly and I would go back! read more

Coming from someone who has never written a bad review on here - do NOT use their service department. This department is untrustworthy and over priced. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation/alignment on my 2014 Mazda and was charged $280 after a 10% discount. If that wasn't bad enough I had to wait in the lobby for 2.5 hours even though I scheduled an appointment. While I was there, the department urged that I complete an additional $850 in services including a $450 brake pad replacement for ONLY the front tires. Went to autozone instead and was charged less than $150 (for the rotors and pads w/ lifetime warranty) and found a friendly mechanic to complete in less than 45 mins. Save your money and find a mechanic who cares about their customers because this place is not kind. read more

First of all I would like to say that I've only experienced this dealership through their service department. I purchased my vehicle through their affiliate Budget Center lot in Westfield. The conditions of the purchase were to have included work to be performed at this location. They were supposed to fix the brakes and fix the leaky valve covers. After the initial inspection I was told by the mechanic that the leaky valve covers were normal seepage and that there was nothing they could do. Wow really? Then the brakes.. Not fixed they put a very costly bandaid on the problem, instead of fixing it properly! So since zero stars are not an option they get 1 for doing all the wrong things. I bought my last Lincoln from Tom Roush Lincoln but I always felt they acted like they were doing me a favor selling me a car. Well it became time to buy again, we like Lincoln so I let them know we were in the market. I received a call twice from an assistant but never from our sales person. (I guess I don't have a guy or my guy is too busy to call or contact me) due to our inquiries on line at Lincoln I received daily calls from other dealers. After 3 weeks we drove to Lafayette and bought a new Lincoln Nautilus. The team at Lafayette was great and followed through on everything. There is a disconnect at the dealership in Fishers with a better than You culture with little or no respect for their customer. Yes I drove an hour and 10 minutes North to buy my new Lincoln but as said there is a disconnect here in Fishers but I'll bet they could care less and even though they knew I was in the market I have had zero follow up calls. If anyone from Tom Roush would like to hear what the customer sees you can let me know and I would be happy to share my experience. It isn't price sending people away it's attitude and from what I heard I'm not the first to drive over an hour to avoid a dealership 10 minutes away. read more

My husband and I worked with Brent. He was super helpful, knowledgable and friendly. He didn't pressure us at all, but helped us make an informed decision. He even stayed late on a Friday when we decided right before close that we were ready to purchase. This was my first experience with Tom Roush but it was a good experience. We were at another dealership earlier in the day and the service and attention we received from Brent far exceeded the previous sales person. Amazingly poor service from their service department. In June I contacted them about a recall on the Mazda 3 dashboard. They were to order the parts and call me to set up a service appointment. This was to take a week or so. After 2 weeks and no word, I contacted them again only to be told the parts were to arrive the next Tuesday and they would call to set up the appointment. After about 2 weeks, I called again to get the same story. Subsequent attempts met with promises they would call me back. Finally my daughter trips to there at the end of September to see what the deal was. After follow up calls, an appointment was finally made for October 14. On arrival, my daughter is told they cannot fix the dashboard because the recall expired at the end of August! Excuse me Roush, how is that my daughter's fault? When we bought our car from Tom Roush, we were given a VIP card. The card entitled us to 19.95 oil changes & 15.95 tire rotations. My wife took our car in last week to get an oil change and Brent in the service department told her that she needed to purchase both the oil change and tire rotation in order to get the 19.95 oil change. She advised him she didn't want the tire rotation just the oil change and he said its a package and you have to do the tire rotation. So she said ok, she called me in the mean time and I called the location and talked to someone different and I was advised you didn't have to get both. I told the person that Brent just advised my wife on two different occasions that they both must be purchased. I asked to speak with Brent and I was told he was with a customer, I asked to have him call me back. About 5 minutes later the person that I was speaking with called me back and said Brent just left for lunch but the whole thing was a misunderstanding. She then said I will comp your service today for the misunderstanding. I appreciated the jester from the lady that helped me. It was not a misunderstanding, Brent tried to take advantage of my wife by trying to up-seller her. He is the reason why car dealerships have bad reputations. Needless to say, we will not be back to Tom Roush for oil changes or to purchase our next car. read more

Had an appointment with Cathy in sales for a scheduled test drive in car at 7:00 pm. Showed up to the appointment early after driving about an hour away. Financing was being arranged and they never asked for a deposit. Found out when I got there they took a deposit from another customer and sold it out from under us. Sales Manager says "Thats business". Sales person never called to ask about a deposit or to say sorry. Unethical sales management. Should be fired. read more
