Congrats for being my first negative review. Warning for those who are buying from out of state. Fishers will promise to do things then change their mind and sell the car out from under you. On Thursday afternoon (before Labor Day) Nick with Fishers Imports states that they welcomed a PPI and could take the car over to a local shop. I called Tom Wood Porsche to get the price and process, they said to have Fishers contact them and set up. Then I would pay them the $399 fee for a PPI and they would present results shortly thereafter. I circled back around with Nick and he said that would be no problem and that they would get the car over there first thing in the AM on Friday. Friday at around noon Adam texted me asking for me to call him... weird. So I called and he explained that they couldn't get the car over and they have a few people interested. They are unwilling to hold the car through the weekend unless I put down a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. A deposit that would be non-refundable even if major issues were found on the PPI. Adam also made a snarky comment about the $399 PPI fee and saying it should be much cheaper and that I was overpaying. Wow, what a condescending statement. I chose Tom Wood Porsche because they are a trusted dealer on the forums and it was only 8 mins away from the dealer. I tried to make it more convenient. The car sold the next day and they didn't even bother to follow up with me. I can't wait to tell everyone on Rennlist, Pelican Parts, 6Speedonline, bimmerforums and other sites about my experience when an opportunity exists. A PPI is a must when buying one of these cars, Fishers should know this since they act as if they are a enthusiast dealer. TLDR; Fishers said they would do something, reneged and sold a car out from under me. They weren't even open to structuring a deposit that would give me an out if Overrevs in Ignition 4-6 or any other issues beyond a certain dollar threshold existed.

I arrived and the salesman smiles and says, it's gone! He sold the car on Saturday. No call. No first right of refusal. No courtesy. Nothing. This car was a specialty color that is very rare. I was in love with the car and was ready to pay cash on Thursday night, but they wouldn't even discuss it before I got the PPI. That's super fishy. Is it because you were holding it for another buyer? Is it because I'm a young woman? Is it because I'm Black? Doesn't matter. It was wrong. I think it was his smile that sent me over the edge. Nothing about this situation was joyous. I will never return and I hope no one else does, either. Shame on you, Fritz!

Also the owner/manager of the dealership took interest in the sale by calling me to try and speed up the process, after which I could never get in touch with him after deciding to purchase the vehicle. Trying to make a long story short, I get the car the first week after New Years. I bring it to a Ford dealership to get it inspected for state registration. I get a report that the a/c belt failed because it is shredding and that there is a bad oil leak coming from the oil pan. I cannot pass the state inspection without the fixing the belt and removing the tint that had been put on. Granted the tint was not the dealership's fault but the belt and oil leak should have been found and fixed before selling the car. I express this to the salesman that I had dealt with and he down plays the problems, I guess he did not understand that without a new belt I will not pass inspection. He states that his master mechanic will contact me and tell me that the inspecting dealership is trying to rip me off. When I got the car back I began looking at the oil pan leak and I think whoever did the last oil change (probably the dealership before selling) put too much oil in it as the dipstick marked the level almost half way up the stick. I do not think I have seen an engine over filled as badly as this. I think the mark of a good dealership is that you are want to return to them to purchase another vehicle. I would not be willing to go back to Coast to Coast Imports for anything.

The employee who initially helped me was friendly enough, but the overall experience quickly reminded me why I generally dislike car dealerships. The process felt longer and more complicated than it needed to be. I prefer direct conversations, clear numbers, and getting in and out without a lot of back-and-forth. The biggest issue for me was the interaction with management. Instead of really listening to what I was trying to accomplish, the manager seemed more interested in steering the conversation toward his version of helping. It felt like he was talking at me rather than listening to my questions and concerns. To be fair, maybe I'm not the typical dealership customer. I don't enjoy negotiating, I don't enjoy sales pitches, and I value efficiency above almost everything else. Unfortunately, this visit felt like a textbook dealership experience, and not in a good way. If you enjoy the traditional car-buying process, your experience may be different. For me, it reinforced many of the reasons I avoid dealerships whenever possible. - JY review

What has frustrated me the most isn't just one visit. It's the overall customer experience and the complete lack of effort to build a relationship with repeat customers. Customer retention should matter. It should never feel like once the sale is made, the customer no longer matters. During my visit, I expressed these concerns to one of the employees. I explained that when I visit my Kia dealership, they consistently make me feel valued. They communicate well, work to accommodate me, and understand that creating loyal customers is just as important as completing repairs. Here, I have experienced the opposite. I even brought up the fact that despite scheduling service and explaining my circumstances in advance, I have never been offered accommodations such as a loaner vehicle when it would have made a significant difference. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I was asking for the kind of customer care that encourages people to return. The employee I spoke with was polite and apologized several times. He admitted there wasn't much he could do and offered to get the service manager. At that point, I declined because my concern wasn't about convincing anyone. If the people making those decisions already knew the situation and still chose not to help, another conversation wasn't going to change that. After paying my bill, I walked outside to wait for my vehicle. While I was waiting, another customer's vehicle was returned looking freshly washed and cleaned. A few minutes later, my vehicle arrived dirty. I politely asked why my vehicle hadn't been washed. The employee simply said, "I just brought it up here. That's all I did," and walked away without offering to look into it, explain anything, or try to help. I went back inside and told the employee I had been speaking with what had happened. He apologized again and said he was sorry that response had been given to me. At that point, I couldn't help but laugh because it perfectly summed up my entire experience with this dealership. It wasn't just about a car wash. It was about feeling like my concerns didn't matter. Seeing another customer's vehicle returned cleaned while mine wasn't, combined with the dismissive response afterward, left me questioning whether I was being treated differently. I can't say with certainty why the difference existed, but I can honestly say that's how the experience felt, and it left me disappointed and frustrated. I've reached the point where I'd rather take my business elsewhere. Good customer service isn't just about fixing cars. It's about making people feel respected, valued, and appreciated. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.
