Nobody likes having to take their car in to the shop, but these guys make it as convenient as possible. I have purchased several Hondas here and always have my car serviced at Penske, too. Ultimately, the process of buying a car is just not fun. It takes a long time, there's a lot of waiting, and heavy decisions to be made. But they make it as smooth and painless as possible. I've seen Hebert and Cody, both a handful of times--and they're awesome! While they could easily take advantage of a girl who doesn't know what she wants, I feel like they look out for me and genuinely try to get the best deal. Last time, one of the salespeople gave me advice that saved me probably $100/month on my car payment. When I'm ready to buy a new car, this will undoubtedly be the only stop I make. The service department treats my car like a baby. They always keep me informed, prices are reasonable, and they are knowledgeable and efficient. I've had particularly great service from Brandon. Like I said--getting your car serviced is not fun, but they keep the waiting area clean and well stocked with complimentary coffee, water, and snacks. The waiting area is also quiet and reasonably comfortable. I honestly wouldn't even consider taking my car somewhere else unless it was an emergency. read more

Noticed that I had a headlight out last night and wanted to get it replaced immediately! I called Penske to see if I needed an appointment and the friendly gentleman I spoke with informed me that I could just stop by. So after I got off work I popped in to get my light replaced. Andrew assisted me once I pulled into the bay. He was friendly and professional. He had assistance from another team member since I opted to have both headlights replaced. My service from Penske is always great, but this time it was quick and efficient... so quick I didn't even have to get out of the car this time. I highly recommend Penske if you own a Honda and need any service completed. read more

Updating this review after spending months trying to resolve these issues. The car was sold to me with non-factory "Black Edition" badging, despite Honda never making a Black Edition Accord. As a first-time buyer, I reasonably believed it was a legitimate trim. I later learned it wasn't. It was also delivered to me as HondaTrue Certified with a chipped/cracked windshield that had to be repaired after I pointed it out before leaving the lot. What frustrated me most wasn't the defects--it was how they were handled. Penske publicly responded to this review, but when I actually tried working with management, the concerns I originally raised were never meaningfully addressed. Instead, the focus was on defending the sale rather than resolving the issues. Over the following months I contacted Honda Corporate, the BBB, and the Indiana Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. The dealership maintained its position throughout. The BBB case ended without a resolution after I rejected Penske's response, and the Attorney General later informed me it was unable to mediate because Penske Honda did not honor its attempts to discuss the complaint. Everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how a business handles them. Based on my experience, I can't recommend Penske Honda. read more

A word to the wise: Be careful if purchasing a used car from Penske. Have a mechanic check it out. When I purchased the used car, the front bumper was apparently taped on with no other support. They refused to actually repair the bumper or reduce the price. I was without transportation so time was of the essence. Recently, the bumper fell completely OFF of the car. Now, I must drive without a bumper because of price to repair is out of my range. Customers beware...that's all I'm saying. read more

Brandon in Service Department is an incredible employee to the Penske team. We live an hour South from the dealership and were in Carmel for emergency surgery for family member. Our tire pressure alert came on at time of arrival at surgery center. After check in at the center, I drove the car to the dealership about 15 minutes away. The initial nice young man discovered a nail in one of the tires. I described the urgency to get back to the surgery center and safely home. He sent Brandon over to me. Needless to say I was emotional describing my situation. He was so nice and professional. He and the team got the repair done in a very SHORT period of time!! He deserves 10 stars!! Thank YOU, Brandon read more

Adrian was a pleasure to work with. He helped us get our daughter's first used car. He was very fair and kind and patient and understanding that this was her first big purchase and she had worked very hard for it. We let her negotiate and make all the decisions. Pricing. Let me be clear...the Penske service representative that took care of me, Redd I believe, was wonderful and very service oriented. Your abusive pricing is on par with hospitals providers these days. A complete rip off for a new key fob for my 2022 Honda Accord. I will do all that I can to take my Honda service business elsewhere in the future and to encourage others to do so as well. You should be ashamed... read more

I have been to a few different dealerships since I moved here. They were all disappointing. I had rodent damage to some electrical wires and had it towed to Penske to give them a try. Redd Howard was my service advisor. I told him my situation. He could have charged me over $4000. For an engine wire harness. Because he was so honest he told me they could repair it for a lot lesser charge. I appreciate the honesty. Car runs great with the same warranty as a complete harness. Any other concerns will definitely go to Redd. Thanks again. read more

So far so good, purchased 4 vehicles from them so far. Service department has been solid so we'll continue to use them

Absolutely terrible customer service. They sent completely unqualified staff to handle a car lease buyout, resulting in a total mess. Tom walker, along with the rest of the Honda staff involved, showed a shocking lack of competence and professionalism. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If I could give them negative stars I would. read more

Don't expect much, and beware of the bait-and-switch. Leased two vehicles back to back. Was given a lease price and it increased at signing. Because we were there, accepted it and signed the deal. Prior to entering a third lease, the same thing happened with minutes remaining on the current deal. When asked if we could lock into the deal while discussing the increase, "no". Accepted the price hike, but before paperwork was signed, was told it may increase again once because they had to inspect a dashboard light that they were aware of months prior and couldn't determine the issue. Walked away and won't do business with Penske again. Family and myself were "loyal" customers. Too many other options #HondaFishers read more

This is my second pretty bad experience at this Honda location. This afternoon I called prior to leaving my house to ask if they would have availability to do an express oil change. The woman on the phone told me absolutely come on in so I did. Upon arrival I was greeted and checked in efficiently and was told it would be under an hour and a half. I sat in the waiting room for about 25 minutes until the man came to me and told me they would not be able to service my car and that I would need to schedule for a future date. This would not be a big deal, however, I called in advance to avoid this exact thing. I am now leaving frustrated and without oil in my car. The service at this location is not good and they are not able to reliably tell you their availability and what they are able to accomplish. I will take my car to a different Honda location or another place that does services in the future. read more

Penske Honda has always been a great place for auto repair and express service. I came here for an oil change and to have my tires checked since my tire pressure light came on. Brad, the service man, greeted me and took my car, and I went to the waiting area for my car. The waiting room is very nice with plenty of space to work on my laptop and TV'S as well. They have complimentary coffee and tea, as well as water. There are vending machines as well for snacks and other beverages. After an hour, my name was called over the intercom to come to the service area. Brad told me I needed new wiper blades and I was going to need new tires and an alignment very soon. I did not get the tires and alignment since I hardly drive my car that much and I only had 11,000 miles on it. I did get the wiper blades replaced. I then went back to the waiting room After 20 minutes, my name was called again and my car service was completed. I had my oil change and tires rotated with pressure checked and everything. Brad took good care of me and explained everything to me in good detail, and showed me the status of other areas of my engine and car. I checked out and picked up my car and was on my way. The staff at Penske Honda do a very good job going over your car and making sure everything is in tip top shape. I've never had an issue with the repairs or the service at Penske Honda, so I highly recommend the express service because it is worth it! Our sales rep El Mahdi Nouri was outstanding. We were buying the new CRV EXL for my wife and Mahdi was very professional and personal when talking to Cindy about the car and when she test drove it. When she took the car for a test drive, Mahdi was very helpful. We had just planned on selecting the color and then buy the car on-line by having several dealers provide us with quotes. But, Mahdi and the sales team gave us a price significantly below the average price in the area and also a very fair trade-in for our used CRV ... again in-line with Kelly Book prices. Therefore, we brought the CRV during this visit to their showroom. We recommend Mahdi highly ... personable, professional, friendly, and fair. read more

The whole process--from start to finish. They definitely have their service process down.

Made my 4th trip to Penske Honda today for service on my car. Long story but will try to make it short. In May I took my car in for service for the A/C blowing hot. It was fixed under warranty. Great! They told me my battery was bad and front sway bar links were leaking. I had them replace the battery and made another appointment for the suspension work. By late June I noticed the a/c wasn't as cold as it should be and what looked like smoke was coming out of the vents. Mid July the a/c was no longer working. Blowing hot air. I called to take it back but they couldn't get it in until August 18th! I had to go an entire month (hottest part of the summer) with NO a/c even though it was just "fixed" in May. I take it up there and drop it off for the a/c again and also had them change the oil. The a/c was under warranty again, faulty seal. Great. Wonderful! Pick my car up the next day, Tuesday. Wednesday morning I notice oil on my driveway. ‍ ugh!! I called them that day, took it back Thursday to have that issue addressed. The oil drain plug was not tightened after the oil was changed. They tightened it and gave me a coupon for a free oil change but only after I expressed my frustration for having to drive 40 minutes back up there (we don't live close). Then! September 5th I go to leave and my car won't start. My husband was able to jump the battery. He took the car and had the battery tested. It was bad. I take my car back again to have the battery checked, yep it was bad. They replaced it under parts warranty. Great! However, while driving up there again I had decided I was gonna trade it in. As I'm walking the car lot a guy asked me if I needed help and gave me his card if I wanted to drive something. I walked past him again and talked to him about a new car. He wasn't pushy which is appreciated but he wasn't trying to sell me a car either. I was ready to trade my car for a new car today but left in my car instead. Had he offered to let me drive the car I was interested in, he would've made a sale today. Period. I had a great experience buying my civic from there in 2020 but I doubt I'll buy from there again. read more

I got my 2012 Honda CR-V April of 2022. Before I bought the car the TPMS light was on. They said they would fix it and to this day (01/16/2023) the TPMS light is still on..never went off. Back in October of 2022 I brought in my car because the battery kept dying. (They 100% knew the battery was old) They told me that the remote start that was installed by a previous owner was drawing power out of the battery even when it's not being used (because remote start never worked). They disconnected it. They told me the battery was old. They "replaced it". They looked at a couple other things that were wrong with the car and "corrected it". At this same visit I mentioned that there is a loud clicking/groaning sound coming from under the car more on the passenger side. They said they would take a look at it. When he came back he stated that it didn't make the sound while they had it, so there's no cause for concern. At this point I have a new battery, recently got my oil changed, and apparently everything has been corrected. Today, I attempted to leave work and as I'm pulling into the roundabout my car stops accelerating altogether. I can push the gas pedal all the way to the floor, but there is no movement. My brake pedal is completely locked. I bring my car as far over out of the round about as I can with the little power it has left and I turn the car off. I attempt to turn it back on and it sounds terrible. It absolutely will not turn over. I end up having to call a tow truck to get it towed to the dealership that was still open. I explain to them that I've been fighting with them over the issues with this car for almost a year and that now that my engine is blown I need a reliable vehicle to take me to and from work. I have a trip to Florida on Friday that I was supposed to drive to and now it's not looking so good with everything already booked. They tell me they have no loaner cars and there's absolutely nothing they can do besides take a look at it. If you take into consideration that the car won't start, every light on the dashboard is lit up, and I've been complaining about the car forever...it's way past the point of "taking a look at". They've given me nothing but stress and more to worry about. They've been unresponsive, not heartfelt at all and please don't expect them to take accountability for anything. If you can, do not go to this dealership. If you're on 96th street there are many others to choose from with a better reliability rate. They're also not as shady as Penske has proven to be. read more

My mother had leased her last three Accords from a Honda dealer in Fishers. They chose NOT to honor Honda's current Lease Offers which are posted online (pictures attached). So, I called Penske. Rich Williams answered the phone. I'm in sales, so I was interested in his responses. Right away I said, "will you honor Honda's current Lease Offers that are posted on their website?" Without hesitation, he said, "absolutely!" Now, I was a little skeptical, because of the horrible experience we had at another dealership the day before, which happened to be a Honda dealer in Fishers.... so, I explained to Rich what my 80- year old mother needed and wanted, and was willing to do. Here is the lease she wanted: *****$289 per month, Honda Loyalty Lease, 36 months, $3,199 down, expires October 31st***** Rich said he had a blue one on the lot, and I said I'd come look at it before bringing mom to the dealership because she is very frail and I don't want to bring her out for what is usually an all day experience of buying a car, until I know the basics of what can be done. He called me back about 10 minutes later and said, "oh I'm sorry I made a mistake..." and I thought, "oh here we go..." but Rich explained that he was mistaken on the trim level, and that they do have a white EX trim model (was looking for LX), and that they would make sure to fit that into the price we were looking at. It was a $1,200 discount. I was pleasantly surprised. I then said, "Rich, would I be able to take it to my mother so she can see it and then bring it back?" Rich said, "absolutely! We'd love for your mother to see it!" So I picked it up 20 minutes later, and took it to my mother who, unbeknownst to me was at a doctor's appointment. Rather than go to her house, I simply went there (only two exits away off 465). She couldn't believe how beautiful it was, and how accommodating Rich and Penske were, and right away agreed that she wanted this car. They honored the advertised leasing offer from Honda, and got her into an EX model as well. We took the deposit back to the dealer about an hour later, where Rich was waiting outside for mom so she didn't have to come into the dealership. Trust me, it takes her 10 minutes to walk inside. She's very frail. We cam back today, and Rich and the Penske team had everything ready to sign. Scott Van Der Kirk who is one of the finance managers, not only expedited everything, but had everything in perfect order so I didn't have to have mom there longer than necessary. She tires very easily. After having a horrible experience the previous day at a Honda dealer in Fishers, we could not have asked for a better experience from RICH and PENSKE HONDA! Listen to me folks, good people are hard to find. And people don't buy from companies, they buy from PEOPLE, like Rich Williams. If you want to be treated RIGHT.... and you want to be treated FAIRLY... and you want to be treated WITH RESPECT.... PLEASE go see Rich Williams. Ask for him BY NAME. He deserves your business. After what he did for my mother, I want to send him all the business I can. Please, just tell him, "Jonathan sent me!" And NO, he's not paying me anything I promise! He's awesome, Scott was awesome, and this is because no doubt the leadership at Penske Honda is awesome and this is why great people work for them. Remember: 1. Call Rich Williams 2. you can trust Penske Honda 3. You're welcome! read more

My rating is based on the service department. For the last 10 years I have been a frequent flier at the Greenwood location for my car. After being unable to spend half a day I decided to make an appt up in fishers, since I worn a few miles away. From driving into the express lane i could already tell this place was nice. I purchased my CRV from them approx. one year ago. In the last month I was notified there are two safety recalls on the vehicle. When I called to schedule they informed me they cannot get me in until ONE YEAR from now. After I shared my frustration that it's unacceptable that I bought my car from them with safety defects, and they will not correct in a timely manner, the service department manager Angie got very upset with me. She said I should call around to see if another Honda dealer can help me. Angie's manager has not called me back. read more

Shady Sales rep named Elle Evans stopped communicating with me on a purchase I was going to make this weekend as soon as I said I was out of state. Very weird, I would stay away and buy elsewhere. I just bought a Porsche and Maserati that were also out of state and was treated very different. This shady Elle Evans was totally different and does not need to be in sales or waste people's time. Clearly this dealership does NOT value customers and/or does Not want to go through the process to ship the car to Texas.. As you can see, a customer service rep told me to email them. I did, and then she went on to say that she never told me to contact her. I showed her proof, and all she says is "yes that is me." I then had to ask her what she needed from me as SHE was the one that told me to contact HER. She goes on to say, "It's all good, thank you." What kind of customer support is this? It felt like I was talking to an AI robot that is learning how to communicate for the first time. Penske Honda needs a new customer support person because this one seems a little too confused about their job! I can tell that they don't read anything. Next salesman Scott switched gears and wanted my present 2008 CRV as a trade in at a ridiculously low price. I said, "No." He was quick to say the car promised me had been sold that same minute to someone else. I felt victimized by used car salesmen games. Shopping for a used car during the pandemic-related surge was stressful and frustrating, but once we found Penske Honda a lot of those issues disappeared. Our first visit, we simply touched base with the sales team and test drove a car with no pressure to buy. When the perfect car popped up online a few weeks later we went right back to Penske Honda with no hesitation. Scott Hiller helped us take care of a lot of paperwork and applications over the phone so we were pre-approved before we even saw the car. Scott looked over the car personally and let us know of any potential issues or notable flaws (there were none) before we even stepped foot on the lot. After a quick test drive the following day, we were ready to sign. I received a respectable offer for my trade-in and the Honda Certified car we bought was reasonably priced, too. We breezed through paperwork and were out of the showroom in under an hour. Customer service was great, even as they were swamped on a Saturday morning. Your reply basically says "You're wrong." Bad idea. Firstly, I don't "feel" like I wasn't listened to, I factually was NOT listened to-- the detail in my review explains that. Secondly, you can't 'assure me' that isn't the case when I just got done demonstrating exactly how it WAS the case. Your reply is off-putting. Ironically it also makes my own point that you're not listening. I have no interest in spending more time giving you 'greater detail' or 'more feedback' because there is AMPLE detail and feedback on this review. You aren't paying it due attention. Your tone is an awful, patronizing one. It gives the impression you all think if you post replies to bad reviews you will somehow counter the effect. (By the way, the more you cut and paste the same text, the worse it looks.) I recommend you take some communications training and follow that up with customer relations training. If you truly want more, you can refund my wasted money and pay me a consultant fee at 150$ per hour to give you more info-- and training. Went in for routine maintenance today. I was distracted when they listed the maintenance they would perform, and I stupidly trusted that they were reputable and not exploitative. I missed that they included filter replacement in that list, and was shocked to see a $113 bill for the filter change. I asked the service rep why the filter replacement was so ungodly expensive given the extreme ease of replacement and the cheapness of the filters. He admitted that they price that service based on a particular model, which has a bar over the filters making them difficult to replace. I asked if my model was the one with the bar (I knew it wasn't, but wanted to hear the response.) He admitted it wasn't, but that they price it as if it was. Labor cost for that was $63.00 alone, and I'm guessing they spent maybe 5 minutes tops on it. Make no mistake, they are not your trusted mechanic and they will try to nickel and dime you here. If you absolutely must go here for a maintenance check, stick to the Maintenance Minder items only and do not just blindly except what they say needs done. I made the mistake of going here on a day when my dad was in an all-day surgery to remove a tumor (and this being during the coronavirus pandemic), so I had bigger issues to think about rather than being critical of their recommended repairs. They exploited me for it. read more

I had a concern with one of the warning lights on my dash so I came in to have them look at my car. You pull into the service department where they have two lanes running though the garage. Once you pull in there is someone there to guide you in. One each side of the garage there are a row of express service desks where you can check you car in or make appointments. Once inside the garage they chat with you about your concern and can hook up your car to a computer to scan for error codes. They found two error codes on my car so I had to schedule an appointment about two weeks out for them to work on it. There is a lot of hustle and bustle in this space. Always cars moving in and out. I waited about three minutes and two different people greeted me during this time and that a service rep would be right with me. The service rep told me it would be about and hour or two and directed me to their waiting area. They have one quiet room set up with desk areas and a TV lounge with free coffee and snacks. In about 45 minutes a service adviser came to find me in the waiting room and let me know what work they did and I was ready to go! Overall not a bad experience for car repair! read more

Definitely take your vehicle here if you prefer RUDE, INEXPERIENCED, and UNPROFESSIONAL service! They charged $79 for a diagnostic where they literally sprayed water on my car. I brought my car in person and explained the issue. They said they would be able to remove and look under parts to "diagnose" what the exact issue was for just the diagnostic fee. Next day I get a call that I have to promise to pay $560 just in case they break something when removing these parts to find the issue. Obviously I decline cause these techs are apparently so inexperienced at their job that they don't have the confidence to remove a part without breaking it. I go pick up my car, and discuss the BS diagnostic fee. He tells me to go to the waiting room and is MOUTHING OFF as I'm walking away. Something to the extent of "well why would you bring your car in" and some choice words. Well I don't know sir! Maybe cause y'all said you could do the job?
