I ordered my Ford Bronco from Don Hinds late last year, and was told it could take 8-12 months for delivery. Being the impatient soul I am, I shopped around while I waited for confirmation my build was complete. In the few months I shopped, I was told by multiple dealers that "no dealership will honor A plan discounts on a vehicle this popular, even if you order from the factory." My Bronco was not only delivered ahead of schedule, but they honored my A plan and treated me like I was part of their family. I worked with Jeff Bowen, and can't recommend him enough! I've never owned a brand new car, and Jeff made this process so smooth and seamless. He took the time to show me around the new Bronco, helped me with accessory shopping, and made sure I left with no question unanswered. I can't recommend Don Hinds, and Jeff Bowen, strongly enough. While I have no desire to sell/trade my new car, I look forward to working with this company and Jeff in the future!

Short story: I'm a woman with no truck experience and Diana made me feel like I wasn't crazy for walking into a Ford dealer by myself wanting to try out an F150. I didn't feel intimidated or like I was being judged. I was also taken seriously which is not always the case now that I've been to a few places alone to look at vehicles. I drove a beautiful 2023 F150 hybrid off the lot the next day. If you're a woman and tired of being ignored or not taken seriously, ask for Diana at Don Hinds. She'll find you a car and respect you at the same time. Long story: My existing lease on a 2020 Lincoln Corsair was coming to an end and I was looking for a larger SUV for my growing family. I looked around town and I went to Lincoln and Volvo. Both times the plug in hybrid SUVs I scheduled ahead to test drive WERE NOT CHARGED! C'mon guys you had one job! No I did not bring my husband or need his approval to purchase a car. So I'm by myself and both experiences made me feel like they had the impression I wasn't going to be a serious car buyer. Both places didn't really follow up or call me to try and get me back in. So I didn't! I ended up at Don Hinds bc I got an email that the Lightning was ready to order. Way too expensive but I saw hybrids were in stock at Don Hinds. I showed up, got Diana, and the rest is history. I LOVE my truck and I truly appreciated the way I was treated by Diana.

Called this location to set up a car appointment for a 2011 Ford Fiesta. The person we spoke to on the phone told us they would extend the warranty on the transmission because the car was under 100k miles. Considering the car has 80k miles and the transmission is now almost completely destroyed because of an issue they're fully aware of as a manufacturer failure this seemed like good news. I thought wow Ford stood behind their product even though it's the first thing that comes up when you Google a 2011 Ford Fiesta is the long list of recalls and repairs that should have never happened. Scheduled an appointment after a lengthy conversation explaining the car would be fixed under warranty. Upon dropping off the car they now suddenly do a 180 and tell us nothing can be done for free. Obviously there is a huge disconnect between reception and service. This dealership is a joke. I would avoid at all costs. To have someone drop off their car for service after a full recorded conversation saying it would be fixed for free just to waste our time is pathetic. Get your act together. Ford clearly never even should have made these cars and clearly this dealer has no interest in keeping customers happy. Save your time and go to 96th street. These guys are a dog and pony show all the way around. Huge inconvenience and clearly a mistake to trust them at all with your vehicle. Josh in service is the least helpful and most rude human being I've ever spoken to in this industry. Avoid at all costs. He acknowledged their mistake and didn't even apologize I mean WOW lol Fordtransmissionproblems.com if you want part in the mass action ladies and gents! It's free and Ford pays the legal fees.

Dishonesty claiming there was no issues with my transmission. They didn't want to rebuild it in their dime.

The employee who initially helped me was friendly enough, but the overall experience quickly reminded me why I generally dislike car dealerships. The process felt longer and more complicated than it needed to be. I prefer direct conversations, clear numbers, and getting in and out without a lot of back-and-forth. The biggest issue for me was the interaction with management. Instead of really listening to what I was trying to accomplish, the manager seemed more interested in steering the conversation toward his version of helping. It felt like he was talking at me rather than listening to my questions and concerns. To be fair, maybe I'm not the typical dealership customer. I don't enjoy negotiating, I don't enjoy sales pitches, and I value efficiency above almost everything else. Unfortunately, this visit felt like a textbook dealership experience, and not in a good way. If you enjoy the traditional car-buying process, your experience may be different. For me, it reinforced many of the reasons I avoid dealerships whenever possible. - JY review

What really stood out was the level of service. Tom personally arranged delivery from Indianapolis to Chicago at no additional cost, which made everything effortless on our end. The pricing was very competitive, and after visiting close to 20 dealerships over the past year, including when I purchased a truck, I can confidently say Lockhart Cadillac offered the most reasonable deal by far. Tom is exactly the kind of salesperson you hope to find, trustworthy, fair in negotiations, responsive, and genuinely pleasant to work with. There was no pressure, no games, just straightforward and honest communication. If you're in the market for a car, I highly recommend asking for Tom. What's worse is the lack of communication--missed callbacks, no clear updates, and I've had to chase information every step of the way. Now that the factory warranty is expired and the extended warranty that I purchased is in effect I've had no communication about rental coverage under my warranty so I'm paying out of pocket for Lyft and Uber. At this point, I don't feel like my concerns are being taken seriously. This is not what I expected from a certified vehicle or a Cadillac dealership. While the staff has been polite, there has been no meaningful resolution. *2020 XT4

Not only are the cars they sell lemons, but the way they treat customers is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I bought a vehicle from them in October 2024. Within 2 days I got an airbag malfunction warning. That issue was never fixed, and I was brushed off every time I brought it up -- which is unacceptable considering airbags are a major safety issue. A few months later I got a coolant warning, and soon after the car began overheating. When I took it to a mechanic, I was told the vehicle had stop leak poured into the system, so much that they couldn't even properly diagnose the problem until it was flushed out -- costing me over $300. I never put stop leak in my car. The dealership kept my car for over a month, going days at a time without any communication or updates. After finally getting it back, they claimed they cleaned out the stop leak and replaced the thermostat. The overheating stopped temporarily, but again -- the airbag malfunction was still not repaired. Now I'm dealing with an oil leak and the coolant warning again, meaning the problems are continuing. The customer service is just as bad as the cars. When I tried to address issues that were not fixed after multiple visits, TIM HUGHES (a manager) was beyond rude -- he laughed in my face when I told him one of the issues still wasn't repaired and acted like I was stupid for even bringing it up. When I later tried to speak with the GM, MICHAEL SPURGIN was extremely rude, dismissed me, and even hung up on me. Another employee, Erica, also hung up on me. The staff refuses to provide any contact information for the owner/president of the company. This entire dealership is unprofessional, irresponsible, and clearly sells vehicles with serious issues. I would strongly warn anyone considering buying from them: DON'T DO IT!

I originally came in to lease one, but unfortunately, it had literally just been sold before I arrived. Instead of sending me on my way, Edward showed me a pre-owned Pilot that ended up being an even better fit. Here's what really impressed me: I called around 7:30 PM, and they closed at 8:00 PM. Most dealerships would have told me to come back the next day. Not Edward. He took the time to get me out on a test drive, answered all of my questions, worked through the paperwork, and even agreed to take care of a few items I wanted inspected before I finalized everything. The experience didn't stop there. When I brought the vehicle back for those items, Edward was there waiting to greet me--even though it wasn't during his normal working hours.
