I can't say I know much about ramen. I know what's fresh and what's not. I know what's tasty and what's not. This was enjoyable but not blowing-me-out-of-the-water amazing.
The restaurant is small, some might say "cozy" I say "encroaching on personal space". The wait staff give the impression that they are just trying to get through the day. I can tell that the chefs lack passion for their work as it is reflected in the food.
While the menu maintains a decent variety and the wait time was short, the food was just average. Pork was okay, soup was okay, egg was okay. One thing I do remember that was incredible was the bamboo (was it bamboo?). That was the first time I've ever enjoyed it.
For the price I believe the meals to be acceptable, around $20 for two people without drinks. If you want a cheap and quick meal come here. If you want ramen so great that it'll be highlighted at your eulogy, go else where. read more
