Hakatamon Ramen is located in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia, in Darling square, serving up Hakata style or tonkotsu style ramen.
We came here for dinner, and the place was packed but managed to squeeze in and find a seat. We went ahead and placed our drink orders and took some time to view the menu. After deciding what we wanted to eat, we went ahead and ordered a variety of steamed buns for starters and chose the hakatamon ramen and shoyu ramen.
The food came out pretty quick and was looking stunning. The bowls of ramen were beautifully garnished, and piping hot with steam hovering over each bowl. The hakatamon ramen was garnished with a soft boiled egg, seaweed, and chasu pork. It also had garlic oil with toasted sesame seeds. The shoyu ramen had thinly slices green onions, corn, chasu, and sea weed. The broth was very flavorful and porky while the noodles were al dente, and each slurp got better and better. The chasu was very tender while the soft boiled egg was cooked to perfection.
Overall, it was a great ramen shop in Sydney serving hot bowls of ramen in a nice, trendy modern environment. Service was provided with a smile, and I'll definitely be back slurping again soon when I'm in the area. read more
