A cute space ambient space good for a date, they were able to accommodate our group of 10. The meal katsu curry with rice was okay, the portion was good. salmon and rice was okay, but nothing was too special. They don't seem to cook their miso soup tho but just pour hot soup in dried seaweed and tofu. The restaurant also offer nigiri, sushi, and sashimi. It was good, price for the happy hour or daily for those seems good. The fish was fresh, wished I tried that more than the meal combo. Server was friendly and attentive. The table could have been bigger. Bathroom is also clean and decorated nicely. Overall, would come back to try their sushi options.

Tokio's late night happy hour special is genius! The ambience and customer service was immaculate. We got the: Takoyaki: generous amounts of octopus, great flavor and outside crisp, wish the batter was cooked a little longer White fish Tokio Sashimi: The flavor was overtaken by the tomato and half the fish we got was a bit mushy. Will not get again. Shu Mai: These were huge! The meat was so tender and we appreciated the side of wasabi. Quail egg Nigiri: Amazing and clean tasting egg, will order every time now Ama Ebi: Sweet and perfect texture, our favorite of the night Spicy tuna hand roll, spicy salmon hand roll, Philadelphia hand roll: all standard rolls and can't go wrong with the ingredients inside. I do however wish the outside nori wasn't soggy by the time it got to our table.

I came here on a whim since I was originally planning to go to Jinya Ramen bar at union station nearby but when the wait was close to an hour for party of 2, I wanted to look elsewhere and I'm glad I did ! Restaurant is 2 stories but not too big, has a cozy feel. I loved the decorate and made me feel like I was transported to Japan. Didn't have to wait long to get seat which was nice, there was a rush afterwards so people had to wait around 20-30 minutes or so. We got the shio ramen and the dynamite roll and the portions were perfect ! The broth of the ramen was flavorful and not too salty. The ramen was well cooked. The sushi was fresh and satisfied my craving. Additionally, service did not take too long. Overall, would definitely recommend it to other people.

Had a wonderful experience here! Appetizers and small plates were amazing, we enjoyed the kushi katsu and the takoyaki which were extremely flavorful. We came during happy hour and enjoyed a selection of nigiri followed by ramen for main courses. The selection of ramen is great and all of the styles we ordered were delicious (miso, spicy shoyu, cremoso diablo). The interior of the restaurant is wonderfully decorated and lit and our server was so attentive the entire time we were there. Would absolutely love to come back!

This place is top tier! Where to even begin: a moody, quaint ramen spot near Coors Field with beautiful wooden accents and Japanese lamp fixtures. Our server, G, was impeccable. Highly attentive, well-versed and friendly. The broths are hands-down the most flavorful and aromatic I've experienced here in Denver. The appetizers were impeccable, though this time around our Gyoza was a little undercooked. I would just ensure to ask for extra crisp just in case next visit, the first time they were perfect! Highly recommend, an addition to our regular rotation dinner spots. :)

Such a great experience here! Paid parking a short walk away. Our waitress was very friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxing and pretty. Not a ton of indoor seating, but we were seated right away, even on the night of a Rockies game. My husband got the chicken teriyaki bowl and a spicy yellowtail hand roll and really enjoyed both! I got the salmon teriyaki bowl and a california hand roll (happy hour only $5 rolls!). The salmon teriyaki bowl was an awesome deal, it came with two large pieces of salmon! We were really impressed with the generous portions of the bowls. Flavors on both bowls were really good! It didn't taste as overpoweringly salty as most teriyaki dishes. The miso soup was good, but not super salty, overall good buy mild flavors in everything. A great experience here! Highly recommend going during happy hour, they have some great deals!

my sushi was great. fair value for price and somewhat on par with other higher end sushi spots in denver. loved the decor. our server was nice, but seemed a little anxious. caveat: my friend's ramen was so-so. he thought the extra charge for an egg was ridiculous lol.

TOKIO has become a must-go-to every time we visit Denver. The food is simply amazing. We started with the sautéed trumpet king mushroom appetizer, chicken Kara-age, and shishito peppers were a nice way to start our dinner. But don't overstuff yourself because the sashimi and sushi is super-fresh and delicious. Everything was just A+++++. The owners and staff treated us so well and were there for anything we needed.,

An unattended host booth

If you're thinking about ordering online or delivery, DONT. You will get an email saying your food will be ready, but you can comfortably add an hour to that wait time. Came into the restaurant and waited over 50 minutes for my order which was pre-paid for and ordered over 2 hours ago, which was said to be ready, but they haven't even started on it when I arrived. A restaurant that serves ramen, all day, couldn't pour my broth into a to-go bowl and package it up on time. Ridiculous. There was no one at the host booth the entire time. Calls rang. Some girl came up to ask me over and over again what name I'm here for. Watched 3 doordash drivers cancel and walk out. Watched multiple customers not get helped and walk out. And if you're bold enough to wait like me because you're non-confrontational, the place is so small and cramped there isn't even a place to sit and wait. When I finally got a little upset with the girl who has handed orders to 10 people who came in AFTER me and had to pay on the spot, she was very rude and just kept walking away. At this point just make the Ramen at home. It will be faster and will probably taste better.

Came here with a friend on a Monday night. HAPPY HOUR! No reservation needed. It is located walking distance from most places downtown and the Coors field. They have bar seating a very cute upstairs that I would like to check out and a large table in the middle for a big group. They have something for everyone, ramen, sushi and cooked items. Everything was so fresh and delicious. It was pretty empty when we went so I would think that if it is more crowded it might take a while to get food. The staff were on top of it and attentive. The happy hour prices cannot be beat! I will totally come back for happy hour again. Strong 4/5 stars! :)

My new favorite sushi spot! I came for happy hour and really enjoyed my visit. Keep in mind their parking becomes a challenge during Rockies games. We sat at the counter and got to watch them prepare our rolls which was extra fun. The service was great and every staff member was welcoming. I really enjoyed the rolls with garlic butter as they were unique but everything we tried was awesome! It's a small spot but I haven't had any issues with seating when visiting.

Love the look and vibe of this place. Service was kind of slow. I got the curry Katsu chicken with rice and the gyoza. The gyoza was amazing and comes with five in an order. I would get it again 100%! The Katsu curry was not as good as I remember it being when I first went a year ago.

Cute spot with some pretty awesome sushi. We didn't try the ramen but I'd love to come back for it . Sushi was nice big slices and tasted fresh. Handroll was nice and crispy. Sake in a authentic little wooden box (masu). Even had a green tea cheesecake!

It feels like you've stepped in somewhere completely outside Denver. The food is traditional Japanese country food and very much falls into the comfort food category. Nothing about it is trying to be fancy or overly elevated, and I honestly love that! It feels homey and approachable and is reasonably priced. I got the salmon and tuna sashimi donburi, which comes as a whole meal with pickled sides and soup. Everything was simple but satisfying! Service was pretty fast and the whole experience felt very relaxed. Domo is first come, first served, so you can put your name down and explore the space while you wait. I definitely want to come back and try some of their noodle dishes next. Also, take some time to read up on the history of Domo and the spaces surrounding it! Cool place to hang out but probably won't go for food.

I've tried all the ramen on their menu and everyone is super tasty. Some highlights: The Flavorsome, their signature, is so good. Rich and beefy with tender oxtail. Get it with the chili paste (which is properly spicy) for a good kick. The Saigon Curry is nice and cozy, perfect for a winter day. It also happens to taste exactly like the Vietnamese style curry I enjoyed when I was younger. The remaining options are nothing to scoff at either. Both the Pork Belly (tonkotsu style) and the Dashi are more traditional, but tasty nonetheless.

They were fried a little crispier than what I usually see. I thought they were tasty. The dipping sauce was excellent. Spicy Beef Noodles was a new menu item and I tried it. I quite enjoyed the dish. It was very flavorful with a soft-boiled egg (I added a second one), corn, scallions, sesame seeds, fried onions, and spiced beef. The presentation of the dish was beautiful and colorful with a section for each component on top of the noodles, surrounding the eggs. The items blended nicely as I mixed them together. A very satisfactory version of this dish. The ground beef really mixed the meat flavor throughout the dish and was much easier to eat than the usual chunks of beef. My girlfriend tried the Creamy Vegan Ramen with chili oil, butter corn, baby spinach, bean sprouts, fried onions, and scallions. It came with a vegan "meat" and broth.
