I ordered a Roast Beef hot sandwich with ajusl sauce And there was Juice sauce all over my porch and a torn Togo's bag with my foods sticking out. Why the delivery guy didn't take the right picture instead of the bogus picture with the red delivery bag is not right.I have pics, but not sure where to post . I call Togo's and they said it was the delivery guy's fault. Firstly and most importantly, the staff were very unhygienic touching visibly unclean surfaces then the food without changing gloves. Not only did they fail to understand we wanted two large sandwiches, they were EXTREMELY slow at making them in the first place. See photo attached. Will not recommend and never returning. read more

There is an art to making a sandwich and the lady that served me knew how. I ordered a #26 w/ avo and a pastrami Reuben. Ripoff. Sandwich maker didn't know how to use point of sale system using my app reward. She quoted me a price of $32 but when I brought my credit card to the tap, it said $37. Lo and behold, she added a five dollar tip for herself. When I discovered that she did that, I didn't say anything because I knew that she could use money but not to do it correctly. It's stealing from others. I was there on Friday and ordered tuna special. I ended up sharing a foot-long with my wife. VERY Disappointed with the sandwich, tuna tasted sweet and blah. In addition, the bread was much thicker and overpowered to this already mediocre sandwich. This place used to be great! My family came in here every Friday, and Jasmine always took good care of us with a really tasty sandwich, I had no idea how good we had it! Over the last few months though, the quality has really been going downhill. One thing I've noticed, is almost every time I go in there, there's new people working there, which is fine, but they always seem to mess up a simple sandwich. When you're paying over nine dollars for a sandwich, and almost 5 dollars for a cup of soup, I would hope they would pay their employees decent, so they would stick around. We used to go there every Friday, then every other Friday, then every month, but tonight was our last time at this location. When I got home and opened up my California veggie sandwich, it was missing half the veggies on it, No tomatoes, lettuce, or onion. Maybe one of the worst sandwiches I have been unfortunately desperate enough to eat. The California Veg was a disaster to eat "on the go" in the car- do not try this. The sour dough roll was hard, tasteless & HUGE- unless you can unhinge your jam like a snake, you will never get a bite including both halves. Seriously, each side was about 1" thick, with vegetables, this means fitting 3" into your mouth for a complete bite. That's a bit big, so I had to try it from the side, while avocado was squirting out all sides. In sum, I have an aversion to this chain now and will avoid it unless I am absolutely and completely without choice and near death. On the up side- they clearly make an effort to feed vegans and vegetarians and to provide some salad options: this is appreciated so they got 2 stars. read more

Listen I know with the virus going around and people are closing restaurants, but if you stay open during these times make sure you actually give good service. I've been here twice but every time I have received terrible service, the staff does not care at all. They work at their own pace not caring for any one else's time. I know the service hrs have changed, but they open even later than the time listed. The two chicks that were working, opened late and then started preparing the meats and veggies. Greeted by the sandwich maker Jason all he kept doing while making our food and yelling at some girl Lana to sweep the floor, then the heavy set lady comes out and is telling the guy she don't have to sweep. Service is a constant issue. Got here at 7:45 staff clearly annoyed since only 15min left and were trying to clean up. Regularly short staffed or not efficient. Sign that says 15% off for leaving positive yelp review. I would pay 15% more for this to get resolved. I live in Ripon and this is a regular issue. I have been coming here since they opened because I love Togos sandwiches. I have never had good customer service here. The employees are lazy and rude. When you make a comment they offer stupid excuses for their faults. Today my wife ordered via phone app. When I arrived 15 mins after the order was placed, I saw one person working the counter and the other sitting doing nothing. The person working the counter walked over to the printer and pulled my order off, then asked the other person to make the sandwiches. When I asked what was the point of calling in, if they weren't going to make the sandwiches until I got there, they simply said, your 11 mins early. Yet they would have had plenty of time to make it if they would have taken it off the printer when it came in. This time is actually a better experience than we have had in the past. I may drive to the next city over to get togos. These guys are terrible. FYI. The sandwiches are good here. It's just the terrible service. I received a response from Togos which means alot to me. Its shows they look at the reviews and take them seriously. I changed my rating because of this and will continue to visit this business. I honestly can't believe this place is still in business. I love Togo's but this is the worst one I've ever been to. The people that work here could not care any less about quality and customer service. The roast beef which needs to be cut the correct way on a slicer was obviously cut by hand and not in the correct orientation to the grain, so it was inconsistently thick and so tough it was inedible. The customer service is terrible - they treat you like you are an imposition to them - not a customer helping to pay their wages. If Togo's cares at all about their brand they will pull this franchise and close the doors. read more

I usually stop by when I'm getting gas at the AM/PM on my way to my office in the Bay Area. This location normally has great customer service, is never busy, and the staff is friendly and attentive, so tonight, when I needed to pick up a "Favorite Tastes" sandwich platter for 10 people (which comes with 16 - half sandwiches), I figured I would throw this location the business in appreciation for all the times I've been treated well and it was on my way to my event in Manteca. I just called to place my order and was treated rudely by the woman who answered the phone. I told her I needed to order 1 of the sandwich platters and before I could tell her which one, I was abruptly interrupted and told that she couldn't do it because they needed 2 hours notice. Her dismissiveness was really upsetting. Come on, the sandwich platter would've entailed making 8 full sandwiches cut in half!. I didn't need them for an hour and a half. But, she cut to the chase and hung up on me before I could even tell her what I wanted to order to see if I could be accommodated. I don't know if I'll be back, honestly. The negative tone to this lady's voice really set me off. By the way, I called the Togo's closer to my house in Modesto and not only did they happily take my order, but they also told me that they can usually get larger orders together in 30 minutes or less if they're not busy. read more

I hope everyone knows that Ripon togos is nasty. They dont temp their food they change the dates on the food when it goes bad. They dont give you their employees breaks and they put their overtime on other days so they don't have to pay you. First glad to see TOGO's Sandwiches in Ripon... however I am giving them a 2 stars for a couple of reasons. With a few changes they could be a 4 star. The store was clean and friendly looking. The help (except one) was all smiles, good first impressions. Here is the problem: I don't eat bread, so I asked if I could get any of the sandwiches made into a salad (like Subway does, they will do any sandwich into a chopped salad.) The first girl said she didn't know as she was new, but told me they had three salad choices, which were not my choices. The girl asked the not smiling manager (Lady with dark hair and older then the rest of the crew). if they made salads with the sandwich items. Here was her answer "Buy the sandwich you want, take it home and throw away the bread.". Great answer, why didn't I think of that. Now, I would think that TOGO's would prefer to think they provide healthy options for their customers, not waste options. Ordered online and showed up 30 mintues later as told to and sandwiches (2) still weren't ready. Took another five minutes. Thirty minutes is too long for an internet order but at least do the order if your going to give a pick up time 1/2 an hour after the order is placed. Got tuna sandwich. Barely any tuna or tomatoes. Basically just a bread sandwich which is weird because Standiford location makes amazing sandwiches that actually HAVE INGREDIENTS. If I worked there I would have been embarassed to serve that to a customer. Same thing for turkey/avocado. Just a sliver of turkey. It's like the place is run or owned by a militant vegetarian who is attemptimg to discourage meat consumption. I guess they saved money on my order by being really cheap on the servings where you can't even see or taste the meat (good for their pocket book today I guess) but they'll lose mine and other people's business long-term if they keep operating in this short-sighted,cheap manner. I guess the Subway around the corner has less to worry about then they thought when the Togo's opened up here in Ripon. What a disappointment.
