I was driving on 99N and was hungry. Decided to stop at this jack in the box. The person who helped me was cleaning the dining area at the time we arrived, so she had to stop and come to the counter. She had an expression on her face like she wanted us to hurry up and order, we told her we needed time to decide. She made a very annoyed face expression and that's when I started to feel weird about the whole thing. I ordered #26, my daughter order #3 At the end of the rushed order I asked for my coffee and she told me I didn't order coffee, only the sandwich so I was annoyed and told her to cancel the order. Arrived at 6:29 pm waited until 6:41 pm with NO one coming to help. There was no car in the drive thru and a couple in the dining area eating. There was a staff person outside sweeping. We waited as our daughter wanted the mini tacos but after no one coming to assist. We could hear them in the back speaking. We did not yell to the back as for one, they have a door chime when you enter or exit, and two, this is their job so should not have to announce you are there for service. I am not sure who manages this location, near two truck stops, and located with a Chevron gas station (out of service being updated) and convenience store. May want to avoid this location and go to Sonic across the street. read more

1 Star I had a terrible experience at this Jack in the Box location. When I pulled up to the drive-thru, I politely said hello, but no one responded. I waited for a bit and tried again a couple more times -- still nothing. About six minutes later, a woman suddenly started yelling at me and my passengers through the loudspeaker, claiming we had been keeping her waiting for six minutes. Then she rudely told us to pull around and reorder, as if we were the ones in the wrong. She was extremely unprofessional and aggressive, literally yelling and saying she wasn't going to argue, even though we were just trying to explain that no one ever answered us in the first place. We ordered on the app at about 12:03 am. The app said it would be ready at 12:15 am even though there were no cars in the drive through at all. No cars were leaving when we arrived, no cars ever came while we were there, no cars were on the road near the place... Just us. We parked at the Chevron store and waited a few minutes. Then we decided to go to the ordering board and ask if it was ready, because there is no other way to find that out. The person said "Go around." We went around the building, came back to the ordering board, and she said, "Go around and come back in 5 minutes." We told her we would wait there so she could tell us when it was ready, because no one else is here. She got angry and rude and told us she would give us a refund. Woman had attitude while taking my order not to mention the long silences she would leave while she was scarfing down whatever she was eating. On top of the pauses she kept talking with her mouth full. Terrible etiquette. Rolled her eyes when she forgot my drink order. Cherry on top she gave me my food and not my card after payment. I took my little sons in for a kids meal and a salad for me. We waited 5 minutes for a person to come to the register to take our order. The food took another 15 minutes. There was no ice in the drink machine and all Coke products were out of the Coke machine. There was no ranch for the salad and when I opened it, there was a whole chicken patty sitting on the salad I had to go ask for a knife to cut it up. The most unbelievable part was there was NO KETCHUP for the fries. Not a single ketchup packet in the store. I asked for barbecue but that was out also. Double check your bags because they always miss something. Keep your receipt because no matter what, you're a liar. And if you're in a rush I don't recommend. They'll literally stand talking by the window while you wait 10 minutes for your food.... I can't see the kitchen but I can only imagine they might need more people back there. Fast food is fast food but there's seriously something wrong with the people who work here. They're all operating is super turtle mode, they're rude, and they are gross. No one greets anyone even when standing directly in front of them. Some fries and chicken strips took 20 minutes. They made an error on our order and instead of correcting it, they argued with us and then loudly told other employees that WE made the error. Maybe pay attention next time and you won't mistake a 4 for a 14. The best part... I watched them make the food, specifically the tacos. Rubbing their ears, rubbing their noses, picking their butts, and then using dirty ungloved hands to grab the cheese and stuff them into the tacos. Lettuce, too. Like- stuff them in there with their entire hands. Filthy. I hope someone from corporate sees this. Or the health department. So gross. read more

I pull up to the drive-through and the first things you hear out of the cashiers mouth is "we are out of curly fries and out of shakes." Frustrating experience. Placed my order nice and easy. You can see a manager interviewing a potential employee at a table and you can hear the employees in the back cursing pretty loudly during and after the interview. There are customers and children in your restaurant! Not a good look. Anyhow, after waiting patiently for 20 minutes in a now empty restaurant I get up to ask how much longer until my food arrives. They don't know what happened and finally started to make my food. This place is usually good. However past couple of times have been very disappointing. Recently I went a couple of weeks ago and they were out of sodas. They had a sign on their drive thru speaker. So I left than and came back a few days later and ordered my food and was ordering my food and I ordered a large Diet Dr Pepper and the lady said the best she can do is a medium Diet Coke. I thought okay fine I guess than asked if I can have a large Diet Coke and she said no. I told her "Nevermind than." My order was incorrect. I ordered a jack with cheese and received an ultimate cheese burger. Would not have been as bad, but there was way too much mustard on the burger, the bun was smashed, and the edges of the burger were burnt. I was the only person in the drive thru line. Never coming here again and I hope management looks in to this. At approximately 1am Jan. 22, 2023 we got the incorrect order from the drive thru and we went back around to inform them of that politely. Then with attitude the worker in the drive through accused my fiancé of refusing the correct order when we pulled up. I obviously got upset and words were exchanged and then she tried to refuse service with no refund. She then proceeded to bring religion in to the conversation when we pulled up to the window when there was absolutely NO need to do so. And to add insult to injury she wasn't even wearing gloves with her long acrylic nails while handling my fiancés food which is in violation of California Code, Health and Safety Code - HSC § 113973. And as she handed us the last items from the order which we didn't even receive a receipt for, so we don't even know if we were charged for the right order she continued to play the religious card telling us God bless us and she hopes our night gets better. I complained to corporate and the said they would make it right by sending me some coupons. Two months later and still no coupons received. The corporate complaint number does not work either.
