My husband brought us here after telling me his co-worker dreams about these tacos. I can understand why their food infiltrates his subconscious. We had the carne asada tacos for dinner, and we scarfed them down in my husband's truck while they were still piping hot and fresh. l can't explain why these tacos were better than others besides fresh ingredients and maybe putting some love into them. They didn't have any secret ingredients. They were simply delicious, filling, and affordable. They were parked next to the recycling center. I wondered how they get business while hidden down that road, but good food speaks for itself and word will spread.

Tacos were good but just needed some salt. Luckily I ate mine at home and was able to add salt myself but other than that the tacos were good! The service was fast and barely any waiting time.

Ok back at it big dawg. Like always i ordered the lengua tacos. 3$ a taco is super cheap. The lengua was good and flavorful not over powering with bay leaf. The service could use some work, but no complaints my food was hot and delicious. No ambiance as the trailer was in an industry parking lot. So needless to say I would definitely come back if in town.. big dawg out

The burrito doesn't even have asada .

Poorly made food, I was given bad meat on my tacos that smelled terrible . Couldn't eat the tacos Ordered a burrito also and the burrito looks like mush.

Was in the area so I stopped by to try this place out, got asada, carnitas, and pastor tacos. The tacos have good flavor and the salsa is spicy but good! Got a side of grilled onions to top them off. Food was made pretty fast and customer service was great. Will be back again!

Best tacos in the game forever and always! I've been coming here since I was 18 it's been almost 10 years and it's still amazing. Very affordable and extremely tasty.

    The al pastor. THE BEST!

Don't mind the industrial area. This is about the subject at hand. Tacos. If you love tacos, this taco truck in an unassuming & borderline sketch area is a truck you really should visit. Authentic to Mexico & back. Flavors make you drool. My "test" is always al pastor. Unsurprisingly, Tacos El Hidalguense nailed 'em. I think abuelita (granny) is back there making them herself, from the recipes she learned from her abuelita, decades ago, in old Mexico. I wish the area was a little less sketch, but what can I do? Only go w my S.O. That's what. With my S.O. next to me, sin problema. If you're female traveling solo, I recommend prime lunchtime. It's crowded & tame. And there's going to be a line. But, despite the uber industrial factor, they still have 5 stars. All about the tacos. 5 stars.

I was in the area and craving some tacos. After a quick Yelp search, I found this place and decided to come here. The carne asada tacos I had were soooo yummy! The tortilla had the perfect amount of crispness and so much flavor in the meat as well. I had been getting tacos out in the Bay Area and had been let down each time. I was getting meat that was super tough or just no flavor at all, but these more than satisfied this 8 month pregnant lady. The only thing I would say is that the salsa is way too spicy but the tacos overall are so good that I still ate 6, boogers coming out and all.

Al pastor is awesome have to try them out just possibly get the salsa on side has little kick to it

My favorite asada tacos with salsa Verde. Only thing they don't sell beverages to bad they don't do door dash or Uber eats.

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered the arrachera plate, guacamole shrimp tostada, 3 asada tacos, and a quesabirria. The arrachera was severely overcooked, tough, flavorless, and consisted mostly of fat. It was completely inedible. The shrimp on the tostada also lacked any flavor. In the end, the only items we were able to eat were three plain asada tacos and one quesabirria, yet our bill still came to nearly $90. What made the situation even more frustrating was how it was handled. As soon as we received the arrachera plate, we notified our server that it was inedible. She said she would let the kitchen know, but never returned to follow up. In fact, her entire demeanor changed after that interaction. Throughout the rest of our meal, service was poor and we had to repeatedly flag someone down just to get our tiny glasses of water refilled. After about 45 minutes, a different server finally brought our check. When she read the total, I explained that we had already informed the other server about the issue with the arrachera. She went to speak with the kitchen and returned to tell us there was nothing they could do and that we would still have to pay for the two untouched plates. We were never offered a replacement, an alternative dish, or any attempt to make the situation right. Mistakes happen, but good customer service is about how those mistakes are handled. Being charged full price for food that was untouched because it was inedible, while receiving poor service throughout the meal, left a very bad impression. We will not be returning.

Worth it! Walked into a very quiet, but colorful restaurant with only one other patron inside. The employees were so nice. We were told to pick anywhere, we were brought menus and instantly asked if we'd like anything to drink or if we wanted to look at the menu first... We asked for suggestions and the waitress offered the types of drinks they have. She brought us chips and salsa. The chips were homemade with a perfect crunch. The salsa was fresh, chunky and not spicy. The pepino cone limo aqua Fresca was the best aqua Fresca I've EVER had. Not too sweet at all and was SO REFRESHING. We also ordered an horchata and I was told that was just as good. The food... Where to start. We ordered an empanada and some quedabirria tacos. The empanada was HUGE, deliciously filling with fresh ingredients. It had great flavor. The quesabirria tacos were probably the best we've had. You order the amount you want. They are 5.99 each and oh so delicious. The meat tasted SO FRESH and flavorful. The creamy jalapeño salsa had a NICE kick to it. All meals come with radish and pickled onions as garnish, but eating them with the meal made it even more refreshing and delicious. They need more than one location, but until then we will be back! (Luckily, I heard they do catering.)

The inside is very classy chic with a Mexican twist . I went during the week so it was happy hour . Their happy hour is pretty sweet ! It's from Monday - Friday 4-6 pm, Dine-In Only . They offered $10 drinks and also $10 appetizers. I ended up getting their tacos de papa from their happy hour, which is two tacos, but they are very fulfilling. They're very delicious and I did not see them in the regular menu so if you go during happy hour, it's definitely a must try. I also ordered Jesse's favorite, which is a Chile that looks like a chille relleno, but it's not instead of the egg it has a cream sauce on top and inside it has ground beef . My dad ordered the fajitas which they came with a side of cilantro rice and beans and also all the fixings like guacamole and stuff. Let me tell you the fajitas meal was huge. You could definitely share it with somebody else. I have to say their portions are very generous. For drinks they have beers margaritas my mother had a Chavela, which is beer with lime. I'm not a big tequila fan, but they do have a full bar so I just changed the dirty linen drink for Gin instead of tequila and it was very delicious . The service everyone was really nice and attentive. Overall, we had a great dinner my family and I we had a lot of food and a lot of good laughs. I would definitely come back. I have to say I love their tacos de Papa and for them being on happy hour it's a win-win.
