I like that the tacos were nicely seasoned, had all the fixings, and the tortillas were cooked on the griddle with some crisp. This place is always a hit or miss. They're very inconsistent with the food quality & taste. Idk if it's the difference in the cooks or what. It's sad because when they hit they are very good. Lately, it's been a lot of misses. This was ALL THE MEAT IN MY TACO. The asada is very chunky, dry, no flavor and a lot of fat. Surprised people haven't choked on it. The al pastor can be really good but again, it's very inconsistent. Sometimes it comes with pineapple and sometimes it doesn't. It takes a really long time, do not go if you're in a hurry. Waited almost 30 minutes, with only person ahead of us. Ordered five tacos and a torta. We got chicken and asada tacos. The Asada tacos had good flavor, chicken tacos, not so much. The chicken was shredded but tasted Boiled & bland, definitely missed the seasoning step. The asada torta was ok, probably a 6 out of 10, but with the wait, $12 price tag, & small size, it wasn't worth it. You can't see th location from the street, It's a nice newly concreted area behind the gas station & it's gated. They have ample seating, a large connect 4 and cornhole boards. Great potential. I hope they can make the necessary improvements to stick around longer. Will give them another shot, being that they're the only taco truck in my area. My first and last time coming here. I ordered a super burrito with extra meat and my burrito was the same size as everyone else's burrito I came with who didn't get extra meat. If you have allergy issues don't go here, Loved the food but service was not good. First time I came it was a 1 hour 30 minute wait for a couple tacos. Second time I went it was quicker service (I used yelp to order) and I ordered 2 burritos, making sure to specify not to have tomatoes or onions in One of them (even capitalizing to be clear). I got the burritos and the box specifically labeled "no onions" not only had onions in it but had a slice of tomato in it. It wasn't like it was some salsa or chopped tomatoes it was LITERALLY a slice chunk of tomato. Flacos has really good flavor. It beats a lot of other Mexican spots in the area. The pros: great taste, friendly people, and their current location is centrally located. The cons: ticket orders take awhile (17-22 minute wait) and parking is limited. If you have patience then it's worth it. The only reason why I don't it 5 stars is because of my last visit. I ordered Pastor tacos but when I got home I saw that they gave me asada. Also I ordered 3 minutes before someone else did, same exact order, but that other person received their food 4 minutes before me. That's no good in my book. Way overpriced for the amount of meat on the taco. $3 for a taco that has half the meat from any other truck. And the wait! Omg! 15 minutes? And that was with no one in front of me. And another issue is this. I also am a regular at that gas station. About half of the people ordering food, park at one of the gas pumps. I called and placed my order over the phone at 4:57pm today for an order of 3 tacos supreme. (Just sour cream and cheese, no onions and cilantro.) which is 12$. She told me it will be ready in 20 minutes, I got there at 6:19, and she said it wasn't ready yet because they're finishing a couple of orders ahead of me. I told her it was okay, I'll just pay right now and I would be back. So she said okay and I paid the 12$. so I went to Popeyes and got my husband something to eat as well as my kids. It was 6:52 when I arrived there to pick up my tacos, and my order was ready and I told her thank you. I got in the car and started driving away, luckily I wanted to eat while driving because I opened up the box, and it was just 3 plain tacos with no sour cream or cheese. So I brought it back to her. She apologized and said that she would fix it. All they had to do was put sour cream and cheese on top of my taco, instead, they handed out 2 more orders (a doordasher who just arrived, and a guy that's been waiting there since the second time I arrived there for his order.) it took 12 minutes for them to put sour cream and cheese on my order. I won't be going here again. I honestly gave my tacos to my husband because I didn't have an appetite anymore, my husband said it was good though. But it's honestly not worth an hour wait. So far the best taco truck I've had! The carnitas taco was the bomb. Crispy, juicy and lots of flavor. I tried their Birria taco today and it didn't disappoint. It was delicious.
