I had such an unexpectedly amazing experience at Togo's today, it was my first time ever going, and Nick and BJ at the Eugene, OR location genuinely made my whole day. Nick was so patient and warm from the moment I walked in. I had a lot of questions, and instead of rushing me, he explained everything with such kindness that I instantly felt comfortable. His attitude was truly infectious, the kind of genuine, welcoming energy you don't forget. It honestly made me feel cared for in a way you don't always get when grabbing food. I'll be coming back simply because of how he made me feel. BJ was also wonderful. A small question she asked while making my sandwich showed she was really paying attention and took pride in what she was doing. We were greeted as we walked in. One staff was going around cleaning, sweeping, wiping.... Outstanding! The #38 chicken bacon ranch is new to me here, haven't seen it before. #24 is my favorite. Tonight it was especially satisfying! Service was friendly and helpful. Very quiet, maybe because of the game- we had the place to ourselves. I appreciate the staff cleaning the tables, maintaining the environment and not just sitting around. I grew up near the original Togos- so I love that they are in Eugene. I went here from young old years of 18 to the year of 24 years old in California and then I saw they had one in Eugene so I had to go. I ordered the largest sandwich with three types of meat. They made the sandwich put one type of meat, no cheese no nothing else folded it up with bread no sauce and gave it to me. I went all the way home And saw this and came back and they made the proper sandwich and gave it to me, but I couldn't believe that they did that I paid $25 for this one sandwich because I had like triple meat and crazy amount of food on it and I barely got barely got a basic turkey sandwich. I couldn't believe it. I was so disappointed and shocked. They made it right by the new sandwich, but I had to go both ways twiceand pay full price and didn't get any extra. What an abysmal sandwich. Where's the meat? This is a really pathetic ~$10 sandwich. First time trying this place, and winds up it'll be the last time as well. I double checked with them to make sure it was accurate and evidently it is (supposedly this is 2oz of meat (4 ounces on the whole sandwich)). I was honestly expecting them to take a look at the sandwich and say something like, "Oh my gosh, no! Looks like we forgot to put enough meat on there. We're so sorry. We'll remake it." () Why do the pictures provided by Togo's look sooo different? So much better? I usually don't go to chain restaurants, but I tried Jersey Mike's a few days ago and there was at least 3 times as much meat on that sandwich. Today someone at a store heard me talking about sandwiches and recommended the Togo's, next door to where we were, so I decided to give it a try. This feels like a total waste of money. I'm honestly surprised that they feel ok about selling a sandwich like this. Sadly, if asked, I can only respond that my experience here was terrible. Had the Italian, great sandwich that absolutely destroys Subway across the board. Better bread, higher quality meat, much more sandwich for the money. The setup is old school, not one person moving the sandwich along, but they grab the bread and do everything from a single position without moving along with the cash register between the left and right preparation tables. It appears that the tips are also not completely pooled between the left and right sides, so tip the correct side if you appreciate the service. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews other than the fact that the staff is a bit older and not quite as plucky as teenagers, but if you feel extremely strongly about it, you probably haven't been over 30 working in low level food service. read more

I'm a loyal customer and I have NEVER been treated this way. He was constantly sighing like I was a burden to him. Good sandwiches. However the employees are not wearing sufficient PPE. Employees were seen wearing single layer neck gators and tied bandanas in mid November. Both of which have been shown to be ineffective compared to fitted two or three layer masks. I do not blame the employees for this. I'm from California and grew up eating togos sandwiches. I was so excited to see we had one in eugene! I went in and got a clubhouse melt because I'm pregnant and shouldn't be eating cold meat for the possibility of listeria. I settled for a hot sandwich and what I got was one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had! I don't reccomend this location to anyone. When the woman at the counter was taking my order the manager/owner of the store rudely interrupted to talk to her about something and put a finger up and asked me to hold on!!! That's some pretty terrible customer service if you ask me. My sandwich was cold making it to were I had to go home and try to pick it apart and heat up the meat myself. The parmesan bread was burnt to a crisp and tasted bad enough to where I had to peel the crust off. My sandwich was inedible. I'm so disappointed with the service I received for an $11 sandwich!
